They were very nice, organized and prompt. The only complaint I have is that they don't take any form of credit; they take check or cash only which I did not know at the time. Their services in and among themselves were fantastic. I will use them again in the future.

Jimmy Vensel is a Class Act-from start to finish! We have had 3 very impressive & affordable jobs done by him: 1. 3 years ago, Jimmy Vensel promptly gave us a very reasonable quote on replacing our gutters and then did a perfect job, exactly within the time established upon his quote. He followed up later after several rainstorms to ensure the gutters were working correctly. We have had no problems at all with the new gutters! 2. When 2 other roofing companies gave us a full roof replacement quote, on an estate home we are selling, Jimmy Vensel evaluated that the roof only needing fixing in a certain area where there was water damage: An inspector concurred with his assessment. A cost savings of over thousands of dollars. His honesty, quality of work, & pricing is incomparable in this town. 3. On our 100 year old Shotgun Camel Back home in Germantown that needed to be re-sided, Jimmy again, gave us a remarkable quote for a very large project/job that included more work than originally expected and yet his quote remained the same. Within a short period of time, a very skilled crew came out & began working very h****** this challenging project. The group of contractors & workers must be acknowledged for not only their consistent hard work, but the Respectfulness they gave to us, the house, & the neighbors whose homes are very close in proximity. (The crew worked each day in the extreme heat, drizzle,& cold rain). This old house looks brand new & the extras they did in completely the job so quickly & cleanly is most unusual. Quality work, honest/affordable prices, is what we have consistently received from Jimmy Vensel-Gutter Junkies/ Construction. We are genuinely grateful for his efficient & fair appraisals & for improving so nicely, the outside of our home!

I asked for a quote which was received in a reasonable period and the work was scheduled a couple of days later. In addition to cleaning the gutters and down spouts, debris was also removed from my roof at no additional charge. There were no signs of gutter debris left anywhere in my yard or around my house. I picked these folks strictly from reviews from Angie's List. I was very pleased with their work and would use them again in the future.

Overall it almost seemed like they weren't even there. They were able to work independently of each other but knew what order of operations needed to be done to get the job done quickly. I did provide power for them just in case they would need it for cutting. After the job was finished I looked over all of their work and could not find any flaws. Our old building was not the straightest so they definitely knew how to hide imperfections.

Their price was well worth it as they did for four buildings. It was for the house, the garage, the pool house, and a stable. I am somewhat disabled and I have a horse that wanders the property and they were kind enough to shovel off the poop off the front porch. Their price was reasonable for the work. They swept the leaves off the roof. They cleaned up after themselves. They got their own supplies. I pointed out a problem area and they double checked it. The guys that were here were friendly and very helpful. In fact, I inadvertently gave them my feedback and I called the owner and he mailed it right back to me. If I had more gutters, I would hire them again.

I had problems with a gutter working correctly after a tree limb fell on it. Even though others had tried bending and putting it back , it continued to not flow properly or retain the water in the gutter. Through Angie's List, I found good reports on Jimmy Vensel and gave him a call. He came out to look over the problem and said he could probably fix my problem without going into a big replacement. Since the painters were expected soon, he suggested that he could send his men out to take down the old guttering before painting and they would come back to replace with new after the painting was completed. And sure enough, they were back after the painting. Installed the new gutters and I was a happy camper. Then it rained, and I could see that some adjustment was still needed. Called Jimmy and he was back within the week to fix it. So far, all seems well even though we haven't had that much rain to test it. Jimmy Vensel is great and a man of his word.....

They respond quickly when we call. He sets up a time right away. They will come if we are not home, but I told them they could call me so I could be there when they arrive. He called me when he came. They came when they said they would. They were very professional and very quick. They left no mess. They did extra work, which they didn’t have to. It was nice. Their price was reasonable. The work is dangerous, so I appreciate that aspect of their work. This is the second time I have used them. They have done well both times.

Awesome, he was slammed due to the amount of bad weather Louisville has recently had but came through when he said he would. A+ contractor which are hard to find.

This was my first time using Gutter Junkies. I will probably shop around to try another service before calling them again. I originally called them 2 months ago. They "forgot" the initial appointment. I called them after the miss and rescheduled. The 2nd time, they said, "we'll be there on Monday or Tuesday". They showed up on Thursday. The work was good. The gutters are clean. The roof is clean. Their prices seemed high to me. However, I have a large roof area with some steep gables. For the price, I think it was appropriate.

Gutter Junkies And Vensel Construction were very nice guys and they worked in a timely manner. They fixed that corner I needed done for no charge. They did a fantastic job.

I called them for an estimate for gutter cleaning. They returned my call within 48 hours and said they would come by in the next week or so and check out our gutters and leave an estimate for us. I received estimate in my mail box, called them back and accepted the terms. They came out within 10-14 days and did the work as well as fix a couple of minor problems with the gutters at no extra cost and left the billl, which was exactly the amount quoted. Although I never actually saw them, they did all they promised to do in a timely manner and at the cost quoted. This coupled with a 10% off coupon offerd by Angie's List and the fact they also fixed a couple of minor problems at no additional cost, pleased me greatly! They also did an excellent job in cleaning up the gutter debries. If it weren 't for the fact that we saw how well our gutters performed in the next major rain downfall, I'd have never had any evidence that they'd even been there . . . I would definitely use them again for gutter cleaning and would recommend them to friends. I'll also give them "first crack" if and when, in the future, we would ever need gutter replacement or gutter guards since they are a full service gutter and roofing company..

Jimmy Vensel called me back the day I first called requesting the estimate to advise he had already been to my property and gave me a written estimate. He then agreed to honor his Angies List coupon when I mentioned that. I called him the following Monday after I had heard from the other contractors and I told him I wanted to work with him. He came by the next day and did the job. The gutters were previously full and leaking and now they are draining properly. He provided prompt, courteous, and professional service. I was very pleased with the outcome. I would use this service provider again.

Once again, Gutter Junkies and Jimmy Vensel exceeded my expectations! They are simply the best contracting company I have ever worked with. Period. Over a year ago, Gutter Junkies replaced the gutters on my home. Prior to that work, we had all kinds of water problems (water around the foundation, basement moisture, erosion, cracked bricks on our walkway, etc.). After the new gutter installation, ALL of our water problems disappeared. As I was inspecting our house to get ready for this year's "monsoon season" in Louisville, I noticed that one of our downspouts had come disconnected from the corrugated pipe that routes water away from the house. My first instinct was to call Gutter Junkies and ask if they would send someone out to fix it. I called and left a message. About an hour later, I felt a bit stupid for not just doing it myself, so I went to Lowe's to get the materials I needed. By the time I got home, Jimmy and his crew had already come by my house and fixed it for FREE. Unbelievable service.

They did an excellent job and came when they said they would come. They kept a very clean workspace and met our expectations for the replacement. We haven't had any problems with them.

Estimate was given and accepted on 2/13/2011 with work to be scheduled sometime later that week. Mr. Vensel called on the morning of 2/17/2011 to get clearance to do the work that day which was also the first sunny and snow-free day in some time. The work was accomplished that afternoon.

They were good. They were fine in terms of their professionalism. They showed up when they said that they would. The services that they performed were fine. The one thing that I liked about them was that I had some complaints after they had finished the job but they came out and took care of it. They were very responsive to my concerns.

They did a good job. They were prompt, on time and cleaned up after themselves. The price was good.

When calling for an appointment they left a message for the owner, who called me promptly. He was very cordial. They were on time for the appointment. Did a wonderful job.

My initial call was returned promptly, and Mr. Vensel provided me with an estimate the next day. I was able to schedule the removal of my old gutters and installation of the new gutters in a week's time. I had a little bit of wood rot around a dormer, and he cheaply and professionally replaced that. They arrived to do the work at the time they promised, and were tolerant of my barking dogs. They cleaned up really well. My old gutters were clogged with decaying leaves, but they cleaned all of that up. There wasn't a speck of any kind of debris left in my yard.

Well, I a new first time home owner, and I am always weary of getting taken advantage of by service companies. But with the quality service they provided I recommend these guys for cleaning your gutters. I had asked them to clean my gutters but they provided that and more. Thank you Gutter Junkies.

Jimmy Vensel is one of the best contractors and most responsive business owners in Louisville. We have used his services on several projects--including putting on a new roof, replacing old gutters, and adding leaf-guards--and have never been disappointed. Most recently, we discovered a minor problem with a section of gutter. I called Jimmy to explain it to him. Before I had even left the house for work the next morning, two of his people were already at work on the repair. I don't think I would trust anyone else to work on such an important part of my home--roofs and gutters.

They were out the next day, worked quickly and professionally.
