I called Mr. Grech on a Saturday because there was a bird in my house that entered through the fireplace. He was out on Monday to install the Chimney cap. I called around and he also had the most affordable price for the cap and installation. I would definitely recommend Grech brothers because they were quick, very easy to get a hold of, did a great job (no more birds) and were reasonably priced!

Arrived on time and went right to work. Clean up after he was done. Even repair a couple of areas at no extra charge. Every good at what he does.

Postponed appointment .rescheduled for the following week .promised me a new ash dump screen that he had forgot to bring. When I called about it told me I would have it before end of dec. have called since the .still haven't gotten it. He is a good worker, sticks with the job . Trouble is getting him there to do it.

I contacted provider stating that I felt I needed a new prefabricated fire box, based on advice from a less reputable source. My call was answered on my first attempt, a visit was scheduled a few hours later for the following day and the provider arrived on time with a call while he was on his way. Upon inspection he determined that all I really needed was some simple maintenance that I could perform myself for much less than what it would cost to pay him. He gave me detailed instructions on what I needed to do, which was simple. I am really glad I called before listening to the other repair person who looked it. Brian Grech's honesty and integrity saved me what could have cost me over $700 in unneeded repairs.

I talked to Brian on two separate occasions (approx two weeks apart) and was told each time that I would have someone out to look at my Chimney by the end of the week. No one has ever showed up. If they don't want to travel to Elizabethtown, that is fine, just tell me. I gave them a second chance by calling back, and he once again said he would have someone out there by the end of the week and again no one shows up and not even the courtesy to call me, leaving me with a leaking chimney. What happened to respect and consideration?

They were great. They were responsive and punctual. They did the job quickly and efficiently.

Came twice to take measurements and to give us estimates. Provided a detailed contract prior to start of job. Took pictures of all work as it was accomplished to keep us posted on progress. Very professional crew did and excellent job on all areas. Prices quoted were what we paid. Very pleased with all aspects of the job to include clean up afterwards. Would recommend to anyone.

Called for an estimate of items needed to be taken care of found by home inspection. Bob came right over, examined needed repairs, quoted a price and told me that he would have it done by the end of the week. The next day, Bob called and asked if they could come over then and take care of the repairs. Bob and Paul arrived shortly after, cleaned the chimney and repaired the cracks in the fireplace. They were very professional and courteous. I would recommend their services and will use them in the future without hesitation. Awesome job guys.

My chimney cap blew off in a recent storm. I called Grech Brothers and they sent someone out to look at it and give me an estimate that was MUCH less than I thought it would be. It turned out to be a bit more complicated than they had originally thought, but they checked in with me all the way at each step. They installed the cap so that it would take an "act of God" to blow it off again.

I highly recommend the Grech Brothers. They are responsive, prompt, courteous, and clean up after themselves.

I called for an estimate last fall while I was having a house totally remodeled. Owner, Brian came right away and looked at the work and gave me a price. The weather got too cold so I waited until Spring and called again. Brian came back out because I couldn't find estimate and gave me same estimate. Then he sent guys out to repair right away. Very professional. I like this company, they've been around for quite awhile.

Friendly, well mannered, done in 2 hours. The bricks and mortar were chipping off so it was sprayed with a high-end sealant. They did minor repairs to a few bricks and a few motar joints.

It went well. His phone demeanor is a little odd but other than that he was professional, cleaned up after the job completely, and we have had no problems from the chimney since. The job was finished in one day and looks really good.

I had Brian Grech out to do some work on my chimney after getting quotes from him and two other well-ranked providers in the Louisville area. I found him much more personable; the discussion with him on how to do the chimney repair felt like a consultation rather than a sales pitch. He offered some alternatives that we could try, in order, and at escalating price points until we fixed the leak, rather than attempting to sell me on several thousand dollars of chimney work that might not have been necessary. We couldn't get the work done as soon as we liked because the temperatures were below freezing and it needs to be warmer for the sealant to dry; Brian explained this to us and then stayed in touch regularly for several weeks while we waited for the weather to break. As soon as it warmed up, he was out the next day and got the job done in a day and a half. While he was out there he also re-sealed some windows on the front of the house that he thought could use it at no charge. I've already scheduled Brian to come out and do some additional work tuck-pointing some bricks above a window where the grout has cracked. No leak yet, but I had such a good experience with Brian, and his rates are so reasonable, that I figure it's best to address the problem now. I highly recommend this firm.

I liked that Grech Brothers Inc always returned my calls, kept the appointment, even though he was a little bit late he called to let me know, gave me advise regarding repair and cleaning. He was honest and had integrity about not needing unnecessary work done. I appreciate how fantastic his professionalism was.

He does all chimney needs. He is very professional, thorough, and efficient. He showed up when he said he would. He also told me the price and stuck with it. I would use him again and would recommend him to others.

It took a little time to finally get in touch with Mr. Grech (this was around thanksgiving) but once he called back I was able to schedule an appointment. He kept the appointment, calling ahead and showing up as stated. Mr. Gregg was VERY honest with me telling me that I did not need my chimney cleaned. He told me that I did need some caulk around my exterior ash trap door as well as informing me that the interior ash trap door was missing. He told me of a place near my home that I could go to purchase the door and approximately how much I could expect to pay for it. Other than that he filled an area with mortar that should have been filled during the construction of the fireplace. He was very friendly and informational. I would surely recommend him to friends.

I called and he was out the next day. It was repaired the very next day. The area was cleaned up and you would not even know he had been there. I was concerned that I may not get much attention, as it was a small job. The treatment I got was fantastic, and the service was terrific.

My elderly mother lives in Louisville, I live in Indianapolis so I needed a service provider who I could trust to do the work with out me being present. Brian called me and kept me up to date on the work being done, only did what was necessary to repair the chimney to keep my mom safe. I am so thankful to have this work completed so I can rest easy that her furnace and chimney are properly functioning.

Brian Grech immediately pinpointed the problem and replaced our chimney chase cover. Brian is an excellent communicator and does exactly what he tells you he will do. Two other companies had been hired previously to figure out the leak, but it was Brian Grech who knew immediately what the problem was. His work was tested a week later when we received quite a bit of rain (just before we replaced the roof), and absolutely no leak!! We had thought it might be the roof, but he was almost certain it was the chase cover and he was absolutely right. We have had several other significant rain storms since and there have been no leaks. Thank you so much, Brian! Great job!!!

Brian was very helpful and did a great job explaining the situation to me. I bought a fixer upper with some problems with the fireplace and chimney. I had one quote from a service provider (they put a coupon in Valupak to clean my chimney) that was over twice as much as what he charged. He also didn't just go in and tell me I needed to replace the damper to my fireplace like the other guy. Brian explained what had happened, gave me realistic options and then did a great job getting the work done when he said he would. While he was there fixing the chimney, he also noticed some unrelated loose stones on my house, and he went ahead and tuckpointed them back into place without charging anything extra from the original quote. He just did it because he was there and it needed to be done! Great guy!
