I have dealt with Grech Brothers for over 8 years, cleaning my chimney. I finally bought a gas insert. When I needed a new gas insert "another" company told me my chimney was leaking and it would cost me over $1200 to fix. I called Grech Brothers. Brian Grech came out and quoted WAY less to fix it. He was very pleasant and professional. He returned within a week and fixed it. It looks great and I have had no other problems with my chimney. If I had known he could have helped me with my old insert I probably wouldn't be out money for a new one. I would highly recommend Grech Brothers.

Were supposed to meet in afternoon Oct. 23rd. No call and no show.

I liked that they were prompt, they were informative and they did a good job. I don’t have any complaints what so ever. That was the only time we've ever used them.

Brian was very responsive. He came out to give us an estimate the day after I called, and came in to do the work a week later. He performed only the work required to maintain the masonry and make the chimney safe for use, without recommending expensive, unnecessary upgrades. He called ahead of time to confirm appointments, and to let me know about delays en route.

My chimney leaked every time it rained and I hired Brian Grech and he came out and repaired it a month ago. We had several torrential rain since and no more leaks!! Thanks Brian.

This company had rebuilt our chimney at another residence so I called him when we moved to a new place to check out the fireplace to be sure it was safe. Very knowledgeable, honest, and concientious. Highly recommend.

They were pretty quick. They let me know what kind of shape my fireplace was in. What kind of quality it was. They cleaned up after themselves. They were quick at what they did. They were friendly. Like I said, I have been using them for 12 years so, I keep calling them back.

Nice guy. Did what he said he would and what I needed. I got a couple other estimates from other chimney companies and they said I needed to rebuild my chimney, install an aluminum flu (when it is only used for venting my gas water heater), and other services I did not need. Their quotes were from $2,500 - $4,500. I feel very fortunate to have found Grech Bros.

Brian did an excellent job. He had to take off the old damaged brick, and rebuild the chimney from the roof up. He was very conscientious about picking a compatible color for the brick since the old brick wasn't manufactured any more. He came on time, did the work in 3 days, waterproofed the brick, left no mess, and gave us a very fair price. He even did a little extra job inside our fireplace which we really appreciated. All in all, it was the best experience with a contractor that we have had in a long time. I would highly recommend him.

Called a second time and Grech Bros. never followed up. Contacted Ace Chimney off Angies list and they have been working on the problem with good results.

I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me more than I needed. The Grech repair was reasonable in both concept and price. They also offered to come back in the Spring and check the repair.

Brian, the owner, had given me an estimate over a year before I called him to make the repairs. He took great care in finding a brick similar in color/design to match the rest of the different brick on the house/main chimney and the addition where the 2nd chimney was. The project was done within a 2-day period. He and his associate were very professional and explained all they were doing along the way. One chimney was for a gas-log fireplace that sat on the rooftop of the addition, built around '76. It was so decayed it couldn't be saved with any technology, so he completely rebuilt it. Since brick isn't the same size as it was years ago, Brian had to modify the size, in real-time. He also capped it, sealed it and installed new flashing. It is an amazing structure! The main fireplace, which is very artistically shaped and built in '61, had serious spalling in the section exposed above the 2nd story roof line. Brian expertly rebuilt the decaying section and blended the new brick into the old brick below the roof line. You can't tell where the new ends and the old begins. He also cleaned the entire chimney of mold/mildew. Before he wrapped up, he capped, sealed and re-flashed everything for the main chimney. I would wholeheartedly recommend Grech Bros. to anyone. My chimneys were dangerously decayed and now they are beautiful and sound. I now notice other chimneys in the neighborhood and am grateful I no longer have to worry about mine collapsing! Brian also inspected the flues/dampers and told me they were very clean and intact, so nothing was needed. We discussed some ideas for modifying the gas-log set up. Brian and his associate also took care of some other issues while they were on top of the house, like resealing the area where the garage roof/side of the house meet. They also did some spot mortar repairs in the house exterior brick and on the hearth.

They were very good. I couldn't have asked for better service. My mother-in-law used them and she recommended them. They were wonderful. Their price was very reasonable.

Brian is great. he was very responsive which was important as we had a leak in the chimney. Most importantly, he was honest as others saw our house and gave me a wild estimates to perform similar work. Beyond that, he gave me a lot of professional advice for masonry repairs I am doing myself. Pleasant, professional, honest and reasonable priced!!

It was a quick job, and he did it in timely manner with exceptional skill. The price was a good price for the job and due to our need to have it done before selling the house, he was very efficient. Overcommunicated, which I love because it so seldom you find someone who understands the value of communication. Even took photos of the work so that I could keep them on file. Very helpful and friendly.

Great. I teach and we did it all over the phone. I did not have to be there to oversee the work. The only problem was that the payment had to be cash or check because they did not have a system for credit cards. I would like to have known that sooner. But, they did a grreat job and I have had no leaks since they fixed it. Also, the weather was awful and they wre able to get the job done inspite of the weather.
