THEY'RE PRETTY RESPONSIVE. I'VE NEVER HAD ANY ARGUMENTS ABOUT DOING THE WORK. I'VE BEEN REALLY HAPPY, GIVEN THE PRICE. IF YOU HAVE AN EXACT PROBLEM THEY CAN SEE THEY'RE REALLY GOOD, BUT IF YOU HAVE AN AMBIGUOUS PROBLEM, GIVE IT UP. THE DRYER STARTED SQUEAKING STRAIGHT AFTER HE LEFT. HE SAID IT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT LEVEL, BUT THAT'S RUBBISH.
Description of Work: OUR CONTRACT PROVIDED A THOROUGH WARRANTY FOR OUR DRYER, SO THEY CAME TO FIX A SQUEAK.

IT WAS GOOD. IT DIDN'T COST US ANYTHING BECAUSE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT, AND THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY AND FIXED IT.

Technician replaced a board in microwave, and he had a replacement on hand which was nice. The microwave was under warranty so we didn't have to pay anything. Otherwise, the price would have been high. The technician was on time and professional.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS WITH MY HOURS OF WORK. THEY SCHEDULED AROUND ME. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND FIXED IT. THEY WERE ALSO WILLING TO TAKE IT, FIX IT AND GIVE ME A LOANER IF NEEDED.

MARGINAL. IT TAKES A MIRACLE TO GET THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE TREE TO TALK TO A HUMAN BEING THAT MAY BE ABLE TO CONNECT YOU WITH THE DISPATCHER WHO IS ASSIGNING THE JOB. THE GE REPAIRMAN CALLED WHEN HE WAS WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF MY HOME. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE A MESS WHEN TAKING THE DISHWASHER OUT OF ITS PLACE. HE ALSO GAVE ME A GREAT DEAL ON A NEW BOTTOM RACK WHICH WAS DELIVERED IN A FEW DAYS.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS SATISFACTORY. THE HEATING VENTS USED TO HAVE A MUSTY SMELL, BUT THE NEWLY INSTALLED VENTS GIVE A FRESH SMELL AND IT RUNS MORE QUIETLY THAN BEFORE.

I FEEL THAT THIS WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN I CALLED, THEY WERE TOO BUSY AND JUST SCHEDULE IT FOR THE NEXT DAY. I ENDED UP TAKING OFF OF WORK 2 AFTERNOONS INSTEAD OF ONE.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. WE SET UP THE APPOINTMENT VIA AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM. THEY CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM AND THEN THE DRIVER CALLED ON HIS WAY, JUST TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE WAS HOME. THEY CALLED BOTH MY CELL AND HOME NUMBERS, WHICH WAS NICE.

THIS JOB TOOK FOUR VISITS WITH ONE WEEK BETWEEN VISITS. THIS HAPPENED 3 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND WASN'T COMPLETED UNTIL WELL AFTER NEW YEARS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HOW PROMPTLY A SERVICE TECH CAME OUT. WE DID HAVE THE SERVICE TECH OUT MANY TIMES, AND AM NOT SURE IF THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. GE CALLED TO SAY THAT THEY WOULD GIVE US A NEW UNIT AT THEIR PRORATED COST TO US FOR 30% OR $800 + DOLLARS, IN WHICH I TOLD THEM THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE THAT FOR A PRODUCT THAT IS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD, THAT WE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY BECAUSE THEY ARE UNABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. THE UNIT I TOLD THEM THAT FOR SOMETHING THAT COST US $2600 THAT AFTER TWO YEARS, BECAUSE OF THEIR DEFECTS, AND WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT BY EVERY TECHNICIAN THAT HAS COME OUT THAT IT WAS NOTHING WE HAD DONE. MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD LIKE OUR MONEY BACK SINCE THEY ARE UNABLE TO CORRECT THIS, WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER GE PRODUCT!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GE PRODUCT EVER!!!! HE CAME OUT TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND HAD TO REPLACE SEVERAL PARTS, NONE PERTAINING TO THE DRAIN HOLE THAT WASN'T LEAKING. THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE WATER LINE, AND IT WAS FAULTY. SO HE REPLACED THE WATER LINE. ANOTHER OF OUR PROBLEMS WAS THAT EVERYTHING IN OUR FRESH PRODUCE DRAWER WAS FREEZING, AND THE STAINLESS STEEL DOORS WERE COMING APART FROM THE FRAME. GE CHARGED US FOR THE FAULTY DOOR EVEN THOUGH THE TECHNICIAN HAD SAID IT WAS A GE DEFECT. THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE WATER PROBLEM (IT STILL LEAKS WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR), AND WE HAVE HAD SERVICE CALLS NOW TO THE HOUSE 4 TIMES. GE IS REFUSING TO REFUND OUR MONEY ON THE DOOR OR EVEN GIVE CORRECTIVE ACTION.
