After the work was started we were told that the job had been misquoted and it was an accident on his part. If I used them again I would make sure the quote was correct that I had been given. They had to come back and rework the caulking on the flashing next to the chimney. We found several large roofing nails in the yard after they left.

Tested windows on off day (Saturday) to determine if I had lead and needed to get work done by July 1. When it was determined that I did not, then I had time to talk with other companies and compare. Some companies were cheaper, but not substantially and the Pro Max had an excellent rating with Consumer Guide. John, Steve and Jason all worked well with me and explained the process to my satisfaction. Often I have a lot of questions.

The quality of the work performed was good except for the individuals who did the drywall work. They made a real mess. They did not put up a barrier to keep the drywall dust out of our house. We spent many hours cleaning our house and still found drywall dust. The other employees did there jobs quite well. BUT as for the president/owner, Mike Hardin his unprofessional business actions made this a most unplesant experience. HE PUT MY WIFE AND I in the middle of a dispute between himself and one of his subcontractors (Mark Vincent) who did out concrete work. THE DISPUTE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JOB THE SUBCONTRACTOR DID FOR US AS IT RELATED TO ANOTHER JOB HE DID FOR MIKE HARDIN. After our concrete work had been done I got a phone call from Mark Vincent and he said that Mike Hardin refused to pay him because of some other job and that he (Mark Vincent) was going to have to place a Mechanics Lien on our property because that was apparently the only was he would get his money for the labor and materials he provided. I called Mike Hardin of Enterprise and ask him what in the heck was going on because a mechanics lien was about to be placed on my property... He then told me about their dispute and I told him that that had nothing to do with the work Mark Vincent did on our property and that he should pay him. He said something to the effect that he would NOT give him his check until he corrected the OTHER JOB. THIS WENT ON BACK AND FORTH FOR ALMOST A WEEK RECEIVING PHONE CALLS FROM BOTH OF THEM ABOUT THE DISPUTE. I finally ended the matter by paying the subcontractor after he Mark Vincent provided me an exact copy of the Invoice he had given to Enterprise (Mike Hardin) and I required him to provide me a Notorized Release of Lien for all materials and labor he provided. A day or two later Mike Hardin called me gloating that Mark Vincent had not come to get his check inaccordance with the terms dictated by Mike Hardin. I then told him that I took care of the matter and that I would deduct it from my amount owed to him. He became very angry at this point and started raising his voice higher and higher. He said that we paid way too much and that he Mike Hardin would have to take a $1300 dollar loss etc... Everytime I tried to get in a word about anything he would talk right over me. I finally had enough and hung up on him. He called back a few minutes later and I was so angry I refused to talk to him so my wife Cheryl talked to him. She told him that in her opinion he had acted like a child in the matter and had no right to put us in the middle of a dispute between himself and a subcontractor when the poblem didn't even concern our job. That's about it. I came within a hair's width of cancelling the whole contract for unprofessionalism. My wife and I told Mike Hardin to just get the job done. LIke I said except for the drywall workers the rest of Enterprise's employees did a good job and were curteous, respectful, helpful and on time each day. I can't say as much about the president/owner of the company for his conduct was not acceptable to us.

It was a great experience. The people they had working on my home were friendly and very professional. They even vacuumed up the mess from the windows inside the house. It took about a week for them to finish the work. The only thing that did go wrong was as they were putting on the insulation that goes behind the siding they put a nail through my fax line. Other than that everything went smoothly and the owner came by frequently to check up on the crew and spoke with me each time to answer any questions I had.

The roofers were on site within a week of signing the contract and did a fine job repairing the roof. The new roof installation was of superior quality. Within a couple of days of the complete roofing job they were back on site installing the gutters. Again, the quality of the work was very good. They promised delivery of the windows in three weeks (which was 3 weeks faster than any competitor promised) and indeed the windows were installed about 3 1/2 weeks after contract signing. There was a couple of minor snafu's with the windows. The windows were delivered with options that we did not offer and two windows were the wrong size. We contacted Mike with these issues and he immediately promise to correct problems No Questions Asked. The windows are in and look great. This is a very responsive and easy to get along with contractor. Customer satisfaction appears to be a priority.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN DOING FINE SINCE WE HAD THE SERVICE. WE LET THEM COME OUT, AND GIVE US AN ESTIMATE, AND THEY GAVE US A PRESENTATION. OTHER COMPANIES DID THEY SAME, BUT WE LIKED THEM THE BEST. THE ROOF IS SOUND AND THE NEW ROOM IS EVERYTHING THAT WE WANTED.
