Description of Work: I scheduled an estimate with the salesperson, Brandon. During my initial conversation with him, I explained what I have noticed in terms of heating and cooling issues in my home. Based on my observations, and both his professional judgment and use of the diagnostic equipment he had with him he was able to locate specific problem areas and offer solutions. He was very professional and not only answered all my questions but had taken pictures during his exam of my attic space and crawl area in order to help illustrate his detailed explanation. (I had gotten three other estimates and Brandon was, by far, the most knowledgeable and detail oriented.) After researching Brandon's suggestions, I decided to use Energy Savers. The two installers, Chris and Junior, arrived at my home on the day and time we planned. They were great! These two men worked non-stop, practically the entire day. After completing the job they asked me if I would like to take a look at the different tasks they performed, and if I had any questions or concerns. I immediately notice a difference in my home. The temperature is now constant throughout. Now, when my furnace or air conditioner cycle it's for approximately 20-30 minutes and it shuts off for a several hours. I've received one utility bill since the improvement, and it is 35% less than the most recent weather-comparable month we've had. I strongly recommend Energy Savers over ALL their competition!

Description of Work: had a blower door test done on my home and seen how much heat was coming in my home. wow i think everyone should have this done. I'm working with energy savers now to try and correct my issues.

Description of Work: I don't have experience with this company & did not want to give them a rating but had to in order to submit this. The current deal they are running --$99 for Whole House Energy Audit, Infrared Scan & Blower Door Test!-- is offered by Louisville Gas & Electric for $25. They sent 2 men to my house who worked hard for 2 hours doing the audit & correcting any problems they found. They were in my very hot attic for a long time fixing leaks in my duct work. They also gave me a lot of products worth more than $25. And they send out a detailed report of what they found along with any recommendations for anything else you need to do. I avoid paying for something I can get for almost free. I don't know if I would use this company or not but had to say if I would to submit this.

Description of Work: I had energy savers blow in insulation into the attic. There was no insulation in there before, so it was a relatively straightforward and quick job. They came out, quoted and did the work within a week or two time frame. I explained my urgency (I'd been living in the house without attic insulation for about a month and it was getting COLD). They seemed to make my job a priority rather than just popping it on the end of the list. The employees were on time, professional, and did exactly what I had hoped. For comparison purposes, I also received a quote from Home Depot for the EXACT same service, with the same R-value (49) insulation. Their number was over $2000. I'll definitely be using Energy Savers on future projects.

Description of Work: Insulation needed in attic, as upstairs was significantly hotter than downstairs in summer. They came and gave an estimate for ?R60 (amount of insulation, I think), which was signifcantly less than one other insulation company and a roofing company. Came for estimate within 1-2 days. When called to hire them, they were able to come in 2 days! Guys that came out to do insulation were not the same as the ones who gave the estimate. They were a little "rough around the edges", but polite and finished earlier than expected. They didn't clean up as well afterwards ("we don't have a vacuum"), but there wasn't a lot to clean up anyway. Overall, nicely handled and great responsiveness. Would hire them again.
