They are excellent company. I have no problems at all. They are a good ethical company to work with. I have used them for years.

Their services were great. They did what they said they would do and they followed through. They did a good job.

This is not their primary so they do not have the parts on the truck. I was billed for them to go and get the part. They tried to fix the problem with a refund given but to me it was the principle of what was being charged in the first place. The tech was great and the knowledge is there.He was great and he was thorough. He figured out the problem based on what I was telling him.

We spent under a $100 on that service. We decided to use them because we purchased our furnace from them besides them also being our family friends.

They do a fantastic job. I like them because they give quick response on things. They are very knowledgeable. They will come and tell you what’s wrong with your furnace, even if it is simple. They don’t try to sell you products. The price is same as other heating and cooling company. I would only work with them.

The initial estimator felt that the appropriate job for my home was large and requested assistance from a more experienced person. The next day the company vice-president came out to inspect and prepare an estimate. He left us with a quote for services and explained what he felt was the appropriate solution which was to increase some duckwork and add an additional zone upstairs. After getting other quotes from companies that seemed to want to give us a band-aid solution, we agreed to the price from DFH and the company started work the next week. It took them 3 days to complete the job. Both units were installed and have performed well since. my home is much cooler in the summer and the heat seems to be pretty good as well. It appears that my electric/gas bill is lower too. The city has inspected the work of DFH and only found a minor discrepancy with the installation of a light in the attic. DFH called the night of the inspection to arrange a time to correct this item.

DLH was able to fit my service call in on the day I called them. The serviceman got to my home before I did and had already diagnosed the problem by the time I arrived. This is the second time I have used DLH to service my home heating system. The first time several years ago, I had called them for a second opinion after getting an estimate of $7,000 to repair my HVAC. DLH got it up and running for just a couple of hundred dollars.

We had them before. We did have a problem after it was installed and they did come back and correct it and I was impressed. They spent an entire day and three hours more to fix it. We had blinking lights and a short in the wire somewhere and they fixed it. They had done service for me for the last 15 years. They tried 3-4 times to fix it so it wouldn't have to be replaced. Three different technicians tried and then we decided to get it replaced. That speaks well of them. They were here not to just sell a product but to try and fix it. Their technicians have always been really good guys, they help you and they educate you about your equipment and with energy saving ideas. I have always found them to be very helpful. I don't know their hourly rate for service but I would say they are not the cheapest probably. We have always been pleased with their service. I was here to price out the model and everything but I wasn't here when they did the installation. Everything went fine without a hitch. After they installed it our lights would dim when the compressor kicked in and so we called them and one of their technicians came out and traced for shorts in all of electrical systems and not just the HVAC system. He tightened everything up and it was a free warranty call. He was here for 2 hours and 15 minutes and he gave us information on the electronic thermo stat and he was helpful to make sure we were satisfied. We got the most expensive unit they sell. We were not worried about the price we wanted to upgrade and so it was our insistence. They gave us one price on something and I asked if they had something better and I was the one who drove that conversation and it was not them. I didn't do any comparison shopping. I might have been able to save $1000 bucks but we would have had to wait for a period of time and so we didn't get any bids. I don't know what other people would have charged. We were not all that pleased with the person taking calls in the office and I talked to the owner about that. The owner was very responsive but the receptionist didn't go to charm school.

It went great overall. AC went out over the weekend. Called Monday morning and they were able to fit me in during normal hours. Everyone else said I would be put on a waiting list and it would most likely be Tuesday afternoon. I was very happy they were able to fit us in. The Tech was extremely friendly and showed me how to clean the unit outside and saved me some money. I think the price was a little high but I will definitely use them again...

They were reliable. They arrived on time and they worked in a timely manner. They workers were well mannered. They took a lunch break and it wasn?t an all day job. They ate in their truck. They did a good job. The estimate was consistent with others that we received. We used them because of a recommendation from a friend.

Everything was fine. They've been our heating and air conditioning company for some time, and we've never had any problems. They're always responsive, punctual, and professional. They once came out to correct another company's mistake, and we greatly appreciated that. They are so trustworthy, that we can allow them to work in the house when we're not there.

An inspector found a problem with a humidifier they installed 3 years ago. They stand behind their work. Even though it has been three years, they came out and fixed it at no charge. I've used this company for 4 years and have always been exceptionally satisfied

The most recent time I asked if we could do anything about the fact that it was twice as hot downstairs as it was on the top floor. He told me we could add another register to the hallway. They came in and made a hole that looked like was made with a battle axe. The register he put in was used, the screws didn?t match, and it was just unsatisfactory. They didn?t charge me but I had to call someone else out to fix it up and make it look nice. He got fairly nasty at the end; he needs an attitude adjustment.

They did very good work, and the system is working well. There were some issues, but they were able to resolve them.

The punchline: DFH was the ONLY company that followed up with a call to know if I understood the estimate and if the rep was professional.

It was a good experience. The technician arrived at the time he was supposed to and they even actually called ahead of time to say he was on his way. (It seems like companies always say they will call and then never do.) He was professional and knowledgeable and he even wore covers over his workboots inside the house. I had a good experience with DFH and would use them again.

Our ducts were sweating and spilling water all over our basement. A technician came out on a Friday afternoon and checked out our system. The next week, two technicians came over to put a new return in (dehumidifying our basement). They also caulked a few holes in the concrete walls. Throughout the process, DFH was extremely responsive and polite.

I would never do business with this company again. In talking with other people I have heard similar problems.

Well, first he determined the condenser was bad - no big deal. however, they charged me $246 for a condenser that i found MULTIPLE places from $110 to $135. It took him exactly 1 hour 41 minutes, but they charged me for 2 hours. It took him 25 minutes to drive somewhere he said would only take 10 to pick up the part... They charge $40 for just showing up and $100/hr. The technician was very knowledgeable and really knew what he was doing. However, due to the outrageous markup of the parts, I will not be doing business with them again.

Very smooth and efficient. Arrived on time, got the job done, cleaned up after themselves. Both the owner and sales rep stopped by to check on progress.

This company is not very good, I called for pricing on a 2004 Genetrol heater to replace the control board and limit, and they said they absolutely would not give a price to fix it without giving another $80 visit fee plus $40 for something else to rediagnose the problem. Very shady.

We called because our air flow from our vents was low. We just bought the house and don't know much about it. We wanted their opinion of what was wrong. We thought it would be free. He looked inside the furnace and told us the filter was the wrong size and the coils in the furnace needed to be cleaned. He thought that would take care of it. We told him we'd call them if we wanted to do that (we think it's more than that). He charged us a service fee of $40 and 1/2 hrs labor ($40). We paid $80, but they ended up reimbursing me the money that was spent.

The work was done very well and incorporated an improvement to the system.
