+ -1 moreThe entire experience was awful, I’m not convinced my new system is even installed correctly so I guess I’ll have to wait for it to fail so a real professional can come tell me.
Description of Work: This is a follow up on a previous review. See the picture of the filter that was put in the new system they installed, it was too large so they cut it and taped it, never mentioned to me the wrong size filter was installed, when I went yesterday to buy a replacement I just looked inside the furnace and saw the size and bought that size, when I got home to replace it and pulled this out I was furious; professionals don’t do this and not say anything to the home owner.

+ -1 moreHad some issues with the installation and it took several months for them to correct the problem. They did not clean up after installation and I still have sharp edges exposed that are just asking to cut a child, pet or an adult. When I told them about it they basically told me to clean up and to cut the sharp edge myself. Not a very good company to do business with.

Description of Work: A/C went out late afternoon and within an hour of calling a service tech arrived! He replaced a part, showed us how to clean the outside unit (who knew?!) and double checked inside that the unit was up and running properly. Couldn't be happier with the service and price, especially for an after hours call.

+ -1 moreDisappointed in their customer service, lack of follow-up and having a salesperson hang up on me.
Description of Work: We had been customers of DFH for over 20 years since they installed the HVAC system on our house. Over the past 5+ years we were using them for annual preventive maintenance and service calls. During a spring maintenance call it was suggested we consider a new HVAC system which we did during the past 4-5 weeks. We sent a letter to DFH in early July, 2017 requesting a quote when we received the renewal forms for the annual services. They never responded to the letter so I called to again request a quote. On August 15th I received a call from a salesperson in their office who asked if we were still interested in a new system. The salesperson hung up on me after I asked two questions about the date of the original letter requesting a quote and the date (Aug 15) he was calling us. We also were concerned with the lapses in follow-up to messages left with them to have someone come by to provide an estimate for new systems. As a customer, their annual maintenance scheduling system if at the benefit of DFH and when they may have a person in your area, .... never at the convenience of the customer. Will not recommend this company and will do no future business with them.

+ -1 moreWe had them install the system when we bought the house, so we have stuck with them. They come out twice a year to do the annual check-up on the heating and air conditioning. We have an annual agreement with them. I don't know if they are lowest in town, but I'm satisfied with it. They are professional, do a thorough job, and make sure that the unit doesn't have any problem running with their regular maintenance.

They installed it for whoever the previous owner was and they agreed the honor the warranty that they had for the original homeowner, even though we were the new purchasers and so we just stuck with them. We were going to use them, we wanted to make sure we had a service plan in place, since they were the ones who installed it.

They always give me a seniors discount. The price is fine. They always do a good job. They are always nice. They call before they come and so, they will give you an idea of when they are getting there. It is just a good place to do business with. I have them every year.
