After explaining what was wrong with the furnace, a motor had gone bad, he offered me 3 solutions given the fact that my furnace is nearly 20 years old. I opted for the lowest cost solution - which was replacing the bad motor. I was so impressed with the punctual, professional and courteous service that I will definitely call this company when it's time to replace the system.

Very well. The technician identified the problem and suggested a fix that might defer the need for a new system for 2-4 more years. It's been 8 months. So far, so good.

The owner came out. He said that a new furnace would be more efficient, but that I didn't need it yet.

I bought the furnace from them about 10 years ago, so I have them come out and check it every so often. They were quick and they cleaned up. He was here between and hour and an hour and a half. Last time he came, I had him check it, it was in summer and a couple years ago. The furnace is over 10 years old. He said it's still running fine and that I didn't need a new furnace. They're honest and won't try to sell you something that you don't need.

It worked out well. That's why I keep using them. It took them one day. They left the area cleaner than they found it.

When I was there, they did great work. They?re an excellent company! I think they came once in the Spring and once in the Fall, they did it every year. They were always very good. They get ?A?s? for everything, they were excellent. They?re always on time, always very courteous, it is a good family owned company. I try my best to give my business to local companies if I am able to, I always appreciate when the local companies do a good job.

They've also done commercial work for us, from a home start-up to renovation homes, with having to install and replace systems.

We do like them very much. We had a separate unit installed in a new part of the house. They've done all kinds of stuff.

It was four or $5000, something like that. They're wonderful. They're perfect. They were just fair and honest and professional and tidy. These guys were just perfect.

All we had was a couple slight problems. I can't say enough good things about them. Their service techs are thorough and clean up after themselves. I've had a great experience with them. I've met other people that say the same thing. They had a great experience as well.

They were absolutely awesome. They were neat, clean and cleaned up after themselves. They did everything they could to get the fill back on as quickly as they could possibly. One of the owners actually came out to see how the installation was going. They even followed up with phone calls a few days later to see how we felt about the installation and how things were going.

The work with them went really well. They did a great job and it all went well. They were fast, dependable, professional and what they provided works great in my house.

I have used them several times for this and always fast, courteous and efficient.

The service was Excellent. Very punctual & explained all services needed & performed. I will call & use them again. The repair cost very reasonable & I was not shocked by the cost of the services.

As a maintenance customer, I get priority service and charged only for parts if needed, and then with 10% off.

The installation was very sloppy with routing wires and water to the humidifier. I pointed this out to them and they came back out and corrected to my satisfaction. They also did not seal all the ducts properly and that was also corrected. The system was very loud (air flow through the ducts) I also asked them to come out and correct this issue as well. It is still louder than my previous system but they said that is just the way this system is! They also fabricated a new filter hosing for the return filter. The one they fabricated uses a filter size you can't get at the hardware store so I have to order them on Amazon. Again lack of craftsmanship in their work. In general, they seemed to be in a big hurry just to get the system installed. I wanted a Trane system but I would choose someone different if I had to do it again.

The price is reasonable. They come quickly when I need them if I have a problem, they know what they are doing, and I trust them with the work they do. The workers are good, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have used them ever since I've had this house so that was 15 years ago.

DFH repaired my HVAC system after the original contractor did a poor job of installing my system. The original contractor went out of business and I had to find a Trane authorized dealer as my parts are still under warranty. DFH had to make several trips to my house due to multiple issues with my system. DFH always showed up when they said they would arrive. The tech was very professional and stayed on the unit troubleshooting it's multiple problems. DFH senior management got involved helping guide my repairs through Trane's Field Service Rep. DFH was very reasonable to deal with and treated me fairly throughout a bad situation not of their making. I even got a follow up call from one of the owners a week after the last repair. He wanted to know if the unit was operating correctly.

They came when promised. Had an air leak around the furnace that I did not think was right and when I called to let them know, the response I got from Chris was, "I don't build the units I just install them and I'm not going to question the company building them"? Really... He did have a technician come back to look at the unit and I was told the door was sprung and they would order a new one. After weeks of waiting for them to call me back I finally called them to check on the status, I was told it was something that fell through the cracks and the door was there and they would send someone out to install the new one. After several weeks have gone by, and I never checked to make sure it was installed, I heard a popping noise coming from the basement via the furnace vents, when I went to investigate I discovered the replacement door was leaking as the other one was, not sure a new one was installed or if the technician just installed the new one incorrectly, I called to inform Chris and tried to schedule a time for him to come out, he asked me when was a good time, I said 5:00 p.m. because my wife and I both work, he replied "so do I" but he couldn't make it at 5:00 p.m. because he other things to do and then he asked me if I got a lunch break, inferring I guess that I could use that time to meet with him, again when it's convenient for him. As a paying customer and one that has been inconvenienced twice for a problem I didn't cause I expected someone would go out of their way to make this right, which Chris probably will as long as it's convenient for him, we will see. The point to this rambling is this; customer service is taking care of the customer and doing everything you can to perform the service right the first time, number one, and then if it's not right do everything you can to make it right for the customer when it's most convenient for the customer... If I'm wrong, ignore this post and call these people... One other thing to mention, when the furnace was installed I found lot's of debris on the floor around the furnace along with the paperwork regarding the furnace, when I called Chris to bring that to his attention his response was, "pick it up and put it in a pile and I'll come get it" I'm telling you folks my feeling is everything that happens with this company is the customers fault and it is a real inconvenience to this company to have you complain or point out the things that are wrong...

I'm helping my son fix up an older condo he will be living in. I called DFH to see if the old furnace could be fixed. Ralph was our DFH technician and his service could not have been better. He arrived exactly on time, was very friendly and professional, and had an excellent understanding of the furnace problem. Three other heating companies told us that the furnace had to be replaced with costs ranging from $5,500 to $8,000. Ralph quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and we had heat back on in less that 1/2 hour. He gave me some tips on how to keep it running properly and kept a record of the part that likely would need to be replaced at some point in the future so he could quickly order it when the time comes. I know we will need to replace the furnace at some point, but thanks to Ralph, this large expense can be delayed for a while. When we do need to replace it, I'm going to call DFH. Based on Ralph's excellent service, I highly recommend him and DFH.

DFH put me on the list for the same day and called me 2 hours later and had a service guy at my house within 30 minutes. The set screw had come loose on the fan letting it slip forward and hit the housing. Problem was quickly diagnosed and repaired.

DFH has always done excellent work. They are responsive, helpful, friendly, and trustworthy. I am glad to recommend DFH company, and often do.

Called to schedule the service call for what I thought would be later in the week, but Leah coordinated a visit later that same day! Besides fixing the capacitor problem, Joe also identified that the air handler fan speed position was set incorrectly (by original installers) for the air handler laying horizontally and he corrected it as well. They installed a Mr. Slim split system in a building on my property back in October which was extremely professional and very fairly priced. Based on that experience I decided to use them for servicing my units as well when needed. This was the first time I used them in that capacity, and they were just as professional and value priced as before. Keep up the good work guys!
