I called for an appointment. They set me up for a visit the following day. They called the next morning to confirm their arrival time. Showed up on time. Performed an annual inspection and cleaning on both of my A/C units. The main floor unit required a few pounds of refrigerant. Both units were last cleaned and serviced two years ago. The technician did not have the tools required to inspect for the leak, this required another tech and appointment.

Well Don came out with Chris to give us an estimate the day I called. I had called to see if they would pull out then re-install an old furnace while the guys worked in the basement. When I talked to Don I realized that was not the most efficient use of our money so I started asking about a new unit. The old one was over 25 years old. He came out that day to take a look and gave me an estimate on the cost for a Trane system, when I asked about the higher efficiency he also gave me the price on that unit. Which is ultimately the one we chose. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and was very nice. When the work was started on the basement I still did not have a signed contract with DFH, but I called them to see if they would come out and pull the old furnace and AC since the work was halted until it was gone. I was in a panic since I nothing could be done until the old unit was gone, and I called DFH and as busy as they were, it was May, they got a team out here the next day to do the work. Then the work was not completed on the basement so the installation had to wait about a week. They were great about me having to cancel and reschedule the work. They were very nice about everything including my panic.

Excellent experience. When I was without A/C on a hot summer day, they came out that afternoon. They got the unit working temporarily which gave us time to make arrangements. They came when scheduled, took a little (2 hours) longer than estimated but that was due to unforeseen circumstances and an add-on job they saw was needed and did not charge for.

They said they were coming at 8:30 am Friday. They showed up at 8:30 am Friday and completed the job that day. Their workers are clean and quiet. We got a better system than what we had and used their convenient six-months same as cash option. We will continue to use them and recommend them to others.

THEY CONTINUE TO CONTACT ME UNTIL THEY CAN REACH ME. THEY WILL SPECIFICALLY SET A DATE AND TIME AND THEY DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WILL GIVE A RANGE OF WHEN THEY WILL COME, BUT THEY WILL CALL AND TELL ME WHEN THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY SO I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEM.
