Description of Work: A 30 year old compressor unit had gone bad. I was given an inexpensive option that would fix it for an unknown period, but opted to have it replaced.

Description of Work: Replaced 2.5 ton heat pump. It went okay, except that the first air handler developed a problem right after installation. They completely replaced it with a new one the next day.

Description of Work: The first time used this company they replaced my thermostat which had a short in it. This problem had been going on for a long time. I was very pleased. They serviced my AC and put coolant in it. One week later the AC was not working. Called another company and was told that there was no coolant in system. Second company put in more coolant and system worked for rest of year. DFH came to service the AC the next year and put more coolant in the system. One week later the AC was not working. Called and spoke to manager. He sent supervisor to confirm that there were leaks in the system. Explained what happened the past 2 times. Supervisor confirmed that it was their error and he replaced coolant. The system worked well for the rest of the year. I really appreciated that this supervisor listened to me.

Description of Work: We are very pleased with our mini-split A/C system. They offered the best equipment at the best price, arrived when scheduled, completed the job in a timely manner, and everything works just as expected.

Description of Work: Nice work-- However I thought the price was a little high -- Also I have not heard anything from them as to follow up on how the system working -- I also did not receive any warranty papers on this furnace even though they told me it had a ten year warranty.

Description of Work: Several years ago while doing a maintenance check on the furnace a technician noticed our gas water heater was not venting to the outside. DFH is heating & cooling not plumbing. Anyway they probably saved us from carbon monoxide poisoning. Recently DFH heating & cooling gave us an estimate for a new heating & cooling system. The did the job for the price, it was comparable to others. The communication with them was good. They were neat , professional and finished the job in a timely manner. I have recommended them to our friends.
