Coit Cleaning and Restoration of Kentuckiana

The service team was very professional and prompt. The cleaning was okay and got the main areas clean but lacked the detail around the edges of the floors. They moved the furniture out of the room being cleaned but then I had to move it all back. The service was similar in quality to other companies I have used for the same service.

Fairly well. Some surprises about the scheduling.

Broke a lamp but paid to have it replaced. Could not find a matching replacement so that was a major inconvenience and expense in purchasing new matching lamps. Later I discovered that one of the ducts had come loose in the process of the cleaning and I was losing heat and air into my crawl space. Only due to an energy audit to determine why my power bills were so high was this discovered.

They were very professional, on time and are not pushy about work but just educate on what may be needed.

The floor rug and sofa look great! The serviceman wouldn't take the coupon...he said you couldn't get a discount on a minimum charge. But then hey, he should have take 35% off of the additional cost incurred.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and were very thorough and professional. The house looked (and smelled) great when they were done. They told me about other services they offer, but were never pushy. I felt very good about the quality of their service and their professionalism.

They were really good. I called them on a Saturday and we were having furniture delivered into our new home the following Tuesday. I needed to have the service done on that Monday. The job coordinator set everything up and pulled a lot of strings for us. He had everything done before the furniture came in.

We were very pleased with Coit's professionalism and care for our home. The salesman guided us to their best price and then worked with us to set up a speedy appointment. The crew was friendly, professional, and did what they said they would do.....very pleased with the whole process.

Originally I had Coit estimate on cleaning, deoderizing and stain guarding the carpets. After seeing the estimate, I decided to eliminate deoderizing and stain guard since it almost doubled the price. Some of the carpets were old and stained. After the cleaning, all the carpets looked almost new. I am very pleased. Coit is very professional and does the job right the first time.

I had gotten several estimates and Coit matched the low price offer for my carpet cleaning. When the professional came to do the cleaning, I asked about odor control and he said it would cost an extra $50. I told him that was not discussed as a part of my estimate even though odor was one of my priorities. He added the solution for a fresh smell and did not charge me. These folks were very helpful and understanding.

We had a representative come and give us an estimate for carpet and air duct cleaning. The two crews arrived on Friday, 11/30/12 and did a great job.

Asked for estimate for 4 small rooms and hall. He quoted a price of over $200. which I thought was way to high.

Service technician, James, called to confirm arrival time and was punctual. He was well trained and asked questions that would help inform him of treatment options and explained other options for future services, without being pushy. He showed attention to detail with special attention to areas of high use or stain as well as diligent work on the edges and corners of carpet, which are not successfully accessed by regular vacuum cleaners. Upon completion, he gave a review of the service areas and carefully gathered his equipment. A very positive and efficient service experience.

Rep came out promptly and gave us a price for the job. I scheduled the cleaning for the following week. The one man crew arrived a 1/2 hour early and took less than 2 hours to do the job. There was a problem with the dining room not being listed on the quote. The service was okay, however they did not put any coasters under any of the furniture. The cost was also $100.00 more than quoted. We called the representative about the problem, left a voice mail and have yet to get a call back, it has been 4 days. We have used COIT in the past and have always been happy. The carpet cleaner did express his displeasure at being called in on his day off due to overbooking.

I've used Coit many times because they do a great job. They move furniture and put protectors under the furniture legs. They are professional, friendly and efficient.

Only took 15 or 20 minutes to clean two hallways and a family room. Job was terrible. Would definitely not recommend them again for carpet cleaning.

It went well but the couch took 2 days to dry, not a few hours as I was told. The dog urine smell was still there after the couch dried so I fell like I wasted my money. I've used other companies in the past - from inexpensive to nationwide and have spent anywhere from $100 to $400 for the same cleaning and I had better results with the $100 cleaning than I did with COITs cleaning. The $400 cleaning provided excellent results it was just a little high with that company so I was trying to find one in the middle. COIT is not it. Service was professional - no complaints other than the pet smell didn't go away as it usually does with the other companies (I have dogs to pee on the couch when I leave the house since I'm home with them alot, to and quot;punishand quot; me. I'm going to get it cleaned one last time since I've found this great product from Mambe Company that is a waterproof cover that I can put over the cushions and when they pee, just through it in the wash. They are also expensive but at least it is a one time investment of $100 for 2 rather than paying to have it cleaned every 3 months.

Very professional. The amont of dirt they disposed of was disgusting. They do advise that what they do will not sanitize the air ducts, basically a month later what their process / normal use stirred up, we still had to vacuum out the furnace intake ourselves .

The tech that did the couch and protector services was great and what I had previously experienced with Coit. At a later date the cleaned draperies were returned in good shape, but were not hung since I was not ready for that due to other repair work being done. However, the person who returned the draperies ending up being one of their salesmen. He was really pushing other services. I ended up purchasing the tile floor service from him. He explained all that would be done and we thought it would be worth the price to get that service done. When the tech arrived to do the work, he said he did not have the equipment on his truck to clean the tile before and after grout repair. The tech's opinion of our tile floors and the salesman's were very, very different. It almost seemed as if the tech really did not want to do the job. Since I had just cleaned my floors he proceeded to recolor the grout. The tech moved the refrigerator out with my husband's help to recolor the grout underneath, but would not move the cook stove out. Since he did not have all his equipment, he promised to be back the following Monday morning to clean the tile floor which was a big mess from all the smeared grout residue. To avoid tracking the grout residue onto our hardwood floors, I had to spread old towels, blankets, etc. for us to walk on during the weekend. We were not happy to live in our home with such conditions!! On Monday morning I called Coit to verify that the tech was coming out to finish the job, and was informed that it would be the next day (Tuesday) before he could get back out! I told the phone rep that Tuesday was not acceptable and that I refused to live in such conditions any longer! To sum it all up I had to speak to the main manager and tell him all that had transpired to get results. The manager had the floor tech and his supervisor come out and finish the job as I had been promised. Since only my husband was able to be home at the time, they did a very poor job. I still find spots of smeared grout and have had to scrub and repaint my floor trim from the damage done from the floor cleaner. I would recommend Coit for upholstery or drapery cleaning, but would NEVER recommend them for floor services!!

Working with Coit was a very good experience. I feel much better now that I know our duct work is clean and all the construction debris is gone.

They were on time, explained everything and completed the work quickly. He did say one area looked like it had previously cleaned with a type of product that eventually attracts dirt and would probably require them to return for a second time. He was correct and they came back a few days later and re-cleaned that area. The dirt did not re-appear again. I was refereed to Coit by friends and neighbors. They did a great job and I will be calling them again

Most of the time I have been happy with the service and usually they do a really good job. Once, they did a bad job but they came back right away to fix it.

Was a little hesitant at first, but we moved into an old house that had not been take care of well, so we decided to have the ducts cleaned. They were very professional, showed up when they said they would, and were very informative of what they were doing. After seeing what they removed, I am very glad we had it done.

Coit was professional, efficient and did a great job! We'll be hiring them again in the near future.

They were able to come out within a couple of days from our initial call which was a big factor for us. One other company we called said they wouldn't be able to come out for a couple of weeks. They were on time, friendly and didn't waste any time. Overall the experience was a positive one and we will call them the next time we need carpets cleaned. * 8/15/2012 UPDATE: Yesterday an entire cup of Big Red was dropped in the middle of our living room carpet. We tried to get the stain out but couldn't. We called Coit and asked them if they had a rate for a single spot or just a single room. They looked up our account and said they would be there the next day at no charge. In no way did we expect them to clean the spot for free but they insisted.
