Coit Cleaning and Restoration of Kentuckiana

They came out and were late. They give you a range of times when to expect them. They called about 30 minutes before they were supposed to get to my house telling me that they will be arriving in an hour (30 minutes late). When they arrived the two guys were very nice and got immediately to work. The only thing that I had asked in additon to their duct cleaning is to clean out one vent that sounds like plastic is blowing around inside it. So, after about two hours they were finishing up and said that they were all done. They showed me the filters and debris that they had pulled from my vents. When I turned on the air conditioning the plastic noise was still there (they did not check the vent). I called guy who came to my house to quote me the price for service and he abruptly said that I need to call some 800 number....he wasn't as friendly as when he was trying to sell me the service (that is a shocker right?). I called the 800 number and they set it up for they guys to come back out and check the vent. They did come back out and removed the debris and it was fine after that. My only problem with the company other than some minor lateness and not doing what I had asked is the price for the service. I truly regret not shopping around more. I do have a large house (5200 square feet) and my neighbors said that they paid HALF of what I did (about $500)!!!!! So, I think my wallet was cleaned out as well as my air ducts. Overall, I was generally satified with the service, but know that I could have gotten alot more for my money if I would have shopped around. I would not recommend this company or its services to anyone.

I had just purchased a new home and initially set up an appointment for an estimate via phone. I was told by the call taker that someone would show up between 9a - 12p and if I chose to go with the estimate the work would be done immediately. Consequently I assumed the estimator and the technician would be the same person. I soon found out how wrong I was. The estimator arrived shortly after 12p and examined the areas to be cleaned as well as the number of air ducts. He then provided me with an estimate and said we could schedule a work order. I explained that I was under the impression the work could be done that same day or I wouldn't have waited 3 hours just to receive an estimate. To his credit, the estimator immediately scheduled the work for that same day. Approximately two hours later two air duct technicians arrived and immediately began working on cleaning my vents. I did have some concern that the hose they used to vacuum the vents had a rather large rip or tear in it, although the technician didn't seem too worried about it, nor did I see any debris come through the rip. Afterward I looked at the debris that had been removed and was somewhat surprised that it only appeared to be three or four handfuls of material. A couple of days after they left I did discover 2 vents that they failed to clean. The carpet cleaner arrived about one hour after the air duct techs left and did an outstanding job with the carpeting, pointing out two teeny tiny red stains that he was unable to remove. Overall the experience was satisfactory but I did not expect to spend 8 hours sitting around the house waiting for an estimator and two services. I'm accustomed to estimators arriving at a specific time rather than a 3 hour window and had I known this was the case I would not have chosen to use their services.

Extremely well. Individuals were on time and completed the job without issue.

It's been a while since this service but if I remember correctly there was some discrepancy in the price from the quote over the phone and the actual work performed due to my furniture being so over sized but it wasn't bad. I appreciated the thorough communication from the technician and was very satisfied with his professionalism and results of his work. I would absolutely hire them again.

I contacted Coit to clean my carpets and sofa. They arrived and gave an estimate, then I called and scheduled the work. The serviceman arrived early for the appointment, but had called ahead to let me know that. He was very professional and got right to work. He discussed what services were being performed and explained them briefly to me. He then performed a multi-step cleaning process on my carpets. He also did an excellent job on my sofa. The carpets were damp, but not wet and they dried quickly. He also put the large items of furniture on foam blocks. I moved almost all of my furniture off the carpeted area myself prior to his arrival. I did not move my piano or my bed and dresser. When the service was completed, we walked and looked at it together. I noticed he had not cleaned under my bed although I had specifically asked them to when I confirmed the service. He indicated that he could not move the bed himself. When I offered to help move it, he said that moving it now that the carpet was clean and still damp would leave furniture marks. He was reluctant, but after further discussion, he agreed to clean the carpet after we removed the mattress and box springs, leaving the bed frame in place. I felt he should have been quicker to accommodate my request and make sure I was satisfied. Overall, I was happy with the quality of the cleaning and the price.

Service techs came out and cleaned out our air ducts and pulled out a whole mess of junk and dust. The original call was due to a very putrid smell coming through the ducts when the heat was on (turned out to be some dead animals in the crawl space) but the techs were very cordial and provided as much assistance as they could with the issue. Services were paid for by the company so I can't comment accurately on the cost.

The staff was very efficient and professional and kept me informed as they were doing the work.

When I made the appointment, I was told they would arrive between 8:00 - noon. To their credit, I received a call around 10:30 or 11:00 saying they were running a little late. But by 1:15, they still were not there, so I phoned to cancel the appointment. I had arranged my schedule that day so that I would be home during those hours, but couldn't afford to spend the entire day waiting for them to show up. I've never had this happen with any other carpet cleaner and was very disappointed with Coit. I had gotten up extra early that morning so that the carpet was vacummed and furniture was moved out of their way by 8:00. What a sucker I was.

Phil and Joey were very nice to work with. They took precautions to protect the doorways and wood flooring areas. It was a painless experience. They do try to "sign you up" for additional services but I suspect it is just part of their job.

I have had great results with this company every time that they come out. They were very considerate with making sure that they did not leave my carpets sopping wet and they leave them looking like new as well.

I have had a great experience with this company every time that they come out and work for me. The people that come out and do the work are friendly and courteous and they take their time to do a good job and they give coupons for future services.

They did a great job cleaning my furniture. They left it all looking like new and without any spots. They took the time to make sure the work was done right and they were courteous and friendly.

They did a very good job on my drapes. They were careful no to shrink them and they left them looking like new, they had not been cleaned in a very long time and they did not have any spots when they were done.

They do not do chimney work. They were very professional and very nice over the phone.

Were in a hurry to finish the job. Left too much moisture in the carpets. Had to point out to them that they needed to move the furniture when they couldn't get underneath.

Mr. Murphy was professional, expedient, answered all our questions before starting and did a good job. He went over a bad stain several x's and tried to clean that area. My husband and I were pleased He did not waste time but took the needed time to do a good job

The cleaning was prompt and excellent. The carpet is spotless and odorless. They were on time, had to take the cleaning materials up three floors and simply did quality work.

Very timely, professional, informative, easy going and thorough. Cost was as originally estimated. Work was done within 4 hours including removal of equipment. I will use them again.

They began immediately after scheduled arrival, cleaned five rooms in appropriate sequence. and left valuable advice about resuming use of the floors. Work completed in about an hour.

This is the second time that I have used COIT. The first time, they had to come back to re clean at no charge and with animals and kids, I am not surprised that happened. At my suggestion, he cut a small square out of the back of one of the closets to do the repair. The carpet looks great, and again, it may be because Mr. Watson is the Supervisor for COIT, but the job was professional and to my satisfaction. I can highly recommend them, and particularly, Stevie Watson!

They were very professional and polite. There was some cat hair that I found in the carpet but I did not expect perfection. They were on time.

I am always at work when Coit does work for us. My husband lets them in, I never move the furniture, and the carpet is still a little damp when I get home. All the furniture has a little saucer type things under the legs and we remove them the next day. They also put down a special paper for us to walk on while it is damp. They do a wonderful job and the whole house smells great all the following week.

I have had the carpets cleaned before and it seemed to come cleaner the last time. I think it was because the guy was in a hurry. I had the work done on my off day, but the guy went through the job pretty fast. I could of worked half a day if I knew it was going to be that fast.

I HAD NEVER DEALT WITH ANY CARPET COMPANIES BEFORE. MY MOTHER HAD USED THEM BEFORE AND LIKED THEM THE BEST, BETTER THAN STANLEY STEEMER AND SEARS. THEY DID FINE, THEY GOT THE SPOTS UP THAT I ASKED THEM TO WORK ON. THEY WERE CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, AND SHOWED UP ON TIME.

THEY WERE VERY POLITE, PUNCTUAL AND ON TIME. WHENEVER THERE WAS A PROBLEM THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED IT WITHOUT ANY QUESTIONS. THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE. THEY TOLD US ABOUT SOME CLEANING SOLUTIONS TO USE IF WE EVER SPILT ANYTHING ON THE CARPET AGAIN.
