Super neat! Super cleanup! Super polite workers, installation began on time and finished on time. Storms these past several weeks left us DRY!!! There was only one disappointment, but it was properly resolved today, within a couple of weeks of installation. Homemakers, take notice!!! The only dust I found after the installers left was dust I hadn't cleaned BEFORE they came. Everything necessary had been moved by them, plastic sheeting draped and taped together protected the entire project area. The disappointment was either a missed communication between the sales representative [who came onsite initially] to the department who brief the workers OR there was no communication to the actual workers regarding routing of the discharge water from the sump pump to the exterior of the basement. A previous owner of our home had installed a similar, if not the same, system along a short side wall years ago. At that time the discharge water from that sump pump was routed to an outside underground pipe that collected roof run-off, ground surface water, etc., from our home and others, and then routed ultimately to a storm sewer serving our neighborhood. We live on a steep hill and erosion is a sensitive issue. The workers had discharged the sump water into a PVC pipe of short length and thence upon the ground on a steep decline. Erosion had already started. There were two calls to the company, by me, to get the discharge water properly routed. My first call was returned within a day or two, and the answer was not satisfactory. I suspect I did not explain myself as well as I might have. I received a Review Form for Angie's List late last week, and I was considering the tone of my response, as the discharge routing was not to be changed, per my first call to them. I decided to telephone them again THIS morning before uploading an evaluation. I called Champion Waterproofing again THIS morning and spoke with the president, who sent workers TODAY to route the discharge water properly for our situation, as agreed upon with the sales representative. They arrived within 3 hours, and all was done as we expected. Happy customer! We can give an unqualified OK, GREAT JOB!

Everything went great! The guys from Champion were very knowledgeable and courteous. They were on time and very professional through the entire project. The work they performed also seems to be top notch, as the water leaks have since stopped. I highly recommend their services and will definitely reach to them in the future.

The installers were prompt and efficient. They were extremely punctual, got the job done and left everything picked up. Could have cleaned steps a little better.

From beginning to end, this company and it's representatives really impressed me! Tim was prompt in coming to my house to write the estimate and did a great job of explaining my options and how the work would be performed. Even though it was a little more expensive, I chose to have the crack repaired from the outside, rather than the inside.The night before the repair was to have been made, we had heavy, heavy rain so he called and asked if they could come out a day later instead. Josue did the actual work - he showed up right when he said he would and was very courteous and professional. I asked him how long it would take and laughed to myself when he told me he would be done by 1:00. (It was 8:30 a.m.) He wasn't a very big guy, he had to manually dig all the way to the foundation of my house, and the ground was WET, so it had to be heavy - there was no way was he going to be done by 1:00! I kept peeking out the window to see how he was doing and it was amazing to watch his progress!! The hole he dug was only about 4 ft x 2 ft at the top, but it was 8 feet deep - like I said, he wasn't very big, but I still don't know how he had room to maneuver a shovel and chop roots in that small of a space (yes, there was a tree to contend with, too!) Well, he was finished at 1:30, but I figured the extra half hour was because he noticed my sump pump pipe was leaking and he fixed that, too!!

Outstanding professional services!! The basement looks incredible. They left it spotless. The owner came himself at the start and the end. Great price and wonderful customer service! It's been 6 months and the basement is perfectly dry!

The company installed a type of French drain system in my basement. I do not know the exact name, but it involved jackhammering a small hole, filling the hole with gravel and installing a moisture barrier on a foundation crack that was leaking. The employees showed up on time for the initial consult and when the work was performed. The employee performing the work was friendly and answered my 5 or so questions. The cleanup was good and I am happy to have hired them and the problem was fixed correctly the first time.

We had another company come out and recommend 2 piers for a total of $2100 cost. We decided to go ahead and get a second opinion from Champion. The gentleman that came out was very professional and courteous. He actually took a level out (something the first company did not do) and told us that our foundation was perfectly fine, and that it was a shift in the weight of the garage's roof putting pressure on the walls causing them to shift and crack and recommended that we have a general contractor come out to repair it. He could have simply told us that we needed work done and we wouldn't have been any the wiser. If (heaven forbid) we need any foundation work in the future, we will surely use Champion based on their honesty with this experience.

They were very prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. They listened to what we had to say. They came when they were scheduled to come, finished when they were scheduled to finish, and did what they said they would do. They cleaned up after themselves, and were happy to answer questions during the installation. I wish everyone who came to my house to do work was this efficient and professional! Best of all, we have a written lifetime, transferable warranty.

Today is their first day of service but it was fine. I haven't had an issue. When I had to move the date, they were fine and when they had to move the date, they were courteous and called me and I was able to make the move for them. They called to make sure I was ready and if I had any questions. The guys were really nice when they came this morning. I felt like they were professional. They carried stuff upstairs for me that was too heavy for me to be able to do. They communicated well. They always answered my calls. They showed on time.

Champion discussed all correcting options and costs of each. After deciding on the approach to be taken, scheduling was done. The company was busy and could only get to the job after about 2 to 3 weeks. However, Champion said that they would work me in asap which they did in 1 week. Work was professionally done, on time and on budget......$750. Personnel were professional, personable and proficient in their work and manner. The work has just been completed so only time will tell if the problem has been corrected. However, the work is guaranteed and from all indications from my contact with Champion, if there is a problem, I believe that their guarantee would be upheld.

Once we called to schedule the repair we were given a date, and Champion Waterproofing kept the date, which I find rare with other contractors we have dealt with in the La Grange area. The repair was performed in record time, in less than the estimated time, done in high quality including patch cement work was perfect, also no clean up was required by me. Our sump pump was raised on a block and tested, something I could not get the plumber who installed it to do anything. Also the employee discovered the anti-back-flow valve was defective adding to the cycling, something the original plumber ignored when I indicated there was an issue. I would definitely use Champion Water Proofing again for any other future issues, and definitely recommend them and rate them A++++!

Have had water problems for several years, this company did a great job. I am completely satisfied. Shawn Cornish and his crew are excellent. I havent had any problems with their work. They were friendly, professional and took time to explain everything to me. The clean up in the basement and outside stairs was great, too.

The waterproofing job itself seems to have been expert. There was more dust than we anticipated as this aspect was minimized and the basement was not completely sealed. Had we known the extent of dust, we would have better prepared the upstairs. Not enough care was taken with the walls or baseboards during the jackhammering phase; the owner readily agreed and apologized and offered to repair and discounted the final price. The only issue so far has been a leak around the drain pipe from the sump pump to the outside as this was not caulked. The owner will send someone back out to seal the drain pipe. I would have preferred that the owner come at the end of each day to view/inspect the quality of work and walk through the progress.

The job went very well. They showed up when they were supposed to and were very professional. Since I had the waterproofing done we have had a few big storms, and so far, no water in the basement! The work does come with a lifetime guarantee, which is also reassuring.

Our basement was leaking horribly. Mold was growing and we weren't able to stay in the basement for any amount of time. I was expecting that we would have to remove all paneling and do extensive renovation to the basement. The owner came out and gave us two extensive estimates -- one for fixing the cracks and another for making sure the basement was completely waterproof. We chose the second option. The price for the work they did was extremely reasonable. The workers arrived when they said they would, moved all furniture and everything else that needed to be moved (took great care of it), and took care to cover all furniture and seal off the basement from the rest of the house to prevent dust and debris from migrating. They were courteous, hard working, and did no damage to our property in any way. When they were finished, they cleaned up completely. We will move the things back that were stacked, but that's okay as we have to replace carpet and the paneling anyway. Plus, it's a good way to clean out things we don't need. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!
