I was considering purchasing a home with a known basement leak. I contacted Champion and they were able to come to the property the next day. They arrived and immediately began looking at the home. While they were inspecting the water issues, they were describing what they would do to correct the problem. Any question I had was answered and an explanation was provided if needed. A quote was given on site and the price seemed very fair for the amount of work that needed to be done. I unfortunately did not purchase the house due to other issues(plumbing and electrical) but I would have used Champion to preform the waterproofing. The warranty they provide is lifetime and transferable if I sold the house.

Their price was excellent, they were the best price we received. They were so professional and cleaned up excellently after they left. They were very professional, courteous, and wonderful.

It turned out great. They did a good job. They cleaned up all their mess. They did an excellent job. My husband was there when they did the work and he had nothing but good things to say about them.

The gentlemen who came to my home were prompt, courteous, and professional. They did a fantastic job installing the entire system. They were so helpful to me and left my basement cleaner than it was before they got there! The project was discussed with me throughout the process and they were careful to make sure I understood exactly what was happening and made sure to answer all of my questions. They went above and beyond what was expected with this job, even taking time to tighten a knob for me. I am so pleased with the work they did! My basement is so much brighter with the walls newly covered. Champion has changed my damp, musty old basement into a new usable space. I had almost 20 estimates done before I chose someone to waterproof our home. Champion offered the best product and the best price by far! I am thrilled with my basement and so very happy I decided to work with Champion.

They were pretty good. They did it in 2 days, which I couldn’t believe. Their price was good. It was better than I anticipated. The work was satisfactory.

Champion did a wonderful job on our basement. Tim did the estimate and took his time and explained everything thoughly. They started the job when they said they would. Finished when they said they would. All employees were professional and worked the entire time they were here. Jay led the other workers and kept us informed of what they were doing. Champion has some very dilligent and hard workers. They left the basement cleaner than when they found it. The owner Luke, the owner, was very professional and agreeable to work with. We haven't had any rain to test for possible leaks, but I feel confident it will be fine. I also feel that if we would have any leaks, Champion will stand behind their work and their guarantee. The price quoted was they price we paid, (less the 15% coupon I found on Angies's List). We would highly recommend Champion Waterproofing!

After getting quotes from a lot of different waterproofing companies, I decided to go with Champion. They offered to waterproof my basement and install a concrete floor for a very good price (under $9,000). Things seemed to be going well until I got their contract. When I got their contract, it was basically a simple checklist stating that they would do work in my basement. I stated that I would make an addendum to the contract that spells out everything that would be performed (a basic work plan). I deal with construction and contracts all the time. From a legal standpoint, and to WYA, you have to work with details, not generalities. The addendum I made included the type of work that would be performed, materials to be used, and liability disclaimers. When I sent it back to the contractors, I informed them that this addendum could be easily changed if needed and would like to discuss it to make sure everyone was on the same page. After 3 days, Champion came back and said that they didn’t want to do the work anymore. No explanation or anything. I talked to my brother who is a project supervisor for a very large construction firm who told me that they don’t want to be told want the customer wants and that they pretty much assumed that I didn’t know what I am talking about. It’s either their way or no way. What I would tell others is that if you don’t mind signing a contract arbitrarily, then go for it. I will not contact them in the future. FYI – I did get another waterproofer who had absolutely no problem going over the work plan addendum I made. He sat with me for about an hour discussing the items I had, made some changes, and signed off on everything. He is a little more expensive, but at least listens to his customers. He even stated that he expects to have some sort of work plan presented by his customers.

Their technician was very efficient and communicated what needed to be done very well. We have had a lot of rain in Louisville, but I didn't have to wait long for them to come out. As it turns out there were small cracks in my foundation underneath the basement windows and this company waterproofed all of the windows. The owner himself brought a three man crew out and he introduced everyone and outlined to me what they were going to do. I thought this was quite nice. I was very impressed and very happy.

They did an adequate job. The French drain was done very well. We also asked them to replace the sewer pipe but that was not done well so they had to call another company to re do the job. I don't think replacing the sewer pipe was their expertise. When it comes to quality it is hard to evaluate because the sewer line and the rest of the work were completely different. Their pricing was good and they did complete the job.

Champion could have improved their services. When they did the assessment they told me there would be minimal damage. I knew they would tear up concrete but they did not tellme they would ruin my baseboards, which I could have removed beforehand. They also did not tell me it would ruin my laminate flooring. I had to replace all the flooring. It cost me an extra couple thousand dollars to fix everything they destroyed.

It took them less than one business day, the workman was professional and courteous, and we've had no water intrusion since even though it has rained and we've had several freeze/thaw cycles.

House had been waterproofed in past by a competitor of Champion but failed. Basement took on considerable water during heavy rains. (foundation of house and porch had settled due to this). Tim with Champion came to give estimate and evaluate the job. He came back (on his own) during a heavy rain to see where water entered. We didnt have the money to tackle the entire waterproofing of the basement, but Tim and Luke (owner) suggested we work on half the project and take care of some of the serious issues. Because of the persistence and eagerness they were awarded the job. The workers were on time, considerate of the house and property and foreman as well as Tim gave me constant updates as they did the job. Cracks in foundation were repaired from outside, waterproofing of crawlspace section, new sump pump installed, porch foundation as well as other supports were added, and regrading of earth up to foundation to divert water from the house. It was a tremendous amount of work for the money. We have only had one substantial rain since the work, so it hasnt really been tested to its fullest. All indications show that it is working properly, and we will proceed with additional work as money allows. It should be noted that Tim and Luke were on job site to check on progress daily. I interviewed multiple companies for this work and am confident in my choice.
