Description of Work: Air Comfort of Ky performed a repair to our Central Air unit as a vendor for HSA Home Warranty company. They did arrive on time and perform the work as ordered but the unit went down again approximately 30 days later (different issue). At that time we requested that they return but they were "unavailable" and had no availability within 5 days. Three other companies came out to assess the unit. We had a second interaction with the company when they came out to give a second opinion (once again for HSA) on the status of our downed unit. During this visit one of their repairmen assessed the unit (blown compressor) in 3 minutes time by simply looking at it - he never touched the unit or attempted to turn the unit on. Needless to say we were not happy with the service provided. I would not recommend this company and will definitely not employ their services in the future.

+ -1 moreThey were on time, did excellent work and explained well how the new system worked. I continue to use them as my heating and ac contractor and would reccomend them to others.
Description of Work: I had a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim ductless heating & ac unit installed in a porch I was converting to a sunroom. They did excellent work in the time frame they said and for the quoted price. I have used them since for regular seasonal service on my main heat pump and ac system, and have had the same good results. I intend to continue using them and would recommend them to others.

+ -1 moreMostly well. There was a storm the day after, and water was getting in the roof along the side of the vent that was used for the new furnace. Since there had been no leaks before, I asked them to come out to fix. They did not come out for 10 days after I called, and when they finally came, the attempt was to caulk around the vent on top of the roof. Before leaving, the technician told me if it didn't hold, I would need a roofer. Then he charged me $85. I paid it to get them out of my life. Low and behold, a roofer was needed. The roofer completed poorly done repairs, and assured me that it was a half-assed attempt. Although the furnace works well, and was competently installed, the overall service was lacking, and I will not do business with them again.
Description of Work: Installation of new gas furnace in attic, new returns installed.

Description of Work: Ken inspected unit (heater) and found cracked heat exchanger. The next day replaced the heat exchange. He was very thorough and explained all that he was doing. He was also polite and did not rush.

+ -1 moreI have used this company many times for 12 - 15 yrs and they always come thru....On this visit we set up appointment - they got parts and arrived on schedule, required soldering and reconfiguring system ( which can be complicated ) because it deals with water systematically through the house and it had to be mostly drained....After work was done, system was tested and now works like new, workers very trustworthy and nice ~ I recommend.......R. M.......

+ -1 moreWe were having horrible problems with our previous unit as well as the company that installed/serviced it. Mark with Air Comfort came out and did all he could to try and fix the Armstrong unit we had purchased from Elder Heating and Air. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In the end we realized we needed to buy a new unit. Air Comfort was great throughout the whole process.
Description of Work: Installed new Carrier heat pump and air handler.
