Absolute Overhead Door Service

Automatic Garage door installed in February. In March, bolts started falling off the door connecting it to opener. Mail bolt in track in bracket came out and track fell down. Put bolts in the door and called for Absolute to fix the door. They responded, but said nothing was wrong on that visit. Didn't do anything. On April 19, other bolts were loose, door kept hanging up when opening/closing, hinge bent. When Absolute originally installed new door opener, they used original tracks and brackets and only moved one bracket and left one in original position, thus causing the hinges to bend and hang in the track. Contacted Absolute and they sent someone within 2 hours. However, service man (I use the term loosely) arrived, he was very unprofessional and argumentative when he was shown the problems. He only tightened some bolts, called it fixed and left. Garage door hinge was still bent and door continued to hang up when opening/closing, some bolts still missing. Contacted owner of Absolute shortly after and said he would come out on Monday 4/21. He came on Monday, spent over an hour fixing tracks, relocating brackets, etc... He did admit that bolts were not tightened when originally installed and other bolts were left out. However, no apology for service received on Saturday or prior lack of fixing the problems. I would never recommend Absolute overhead to anyone.

It was good service. It was a fair price and they did a great job. They didn't drag it out or all of a sudden do anything. They were very professional.

The door broke on a Saturday afternoon so I called them around 4:30PM. He sent the tech on a Sunday with no additional cost for weekend. The tech was early but called and asked if he could come early. I was overjoyed by this as our cars were trapped. He was here about 45 minutes, reset the door, retensioned the springs, lubricated and adjusted everything. This is a very good company that does not want their customers buying unecessary parts or services. I will be calling them in the future.

When I called, he was upfront with the fact that he would not replace just one spring, although only one was broken. Everyone else suggested I replace both because both have been used the same # of times, but didn't require it. If you don't get them done at the same time, it almost doubles your expenses. I appreciate someone who doesn't want to just do the minimum, knowing he'll get paid more in the end with two jobs; instead he said this is the right way to do it. He was able to get to me quickly and provided friendly service.

The technician showed up on time and replaced all rollers in the door system. The old metal rollers were replaced with plastic rollers on metal rods that reduced operation noise significantly on the chain driven door system.

The gentleman was very prompt and professional. He did a thorough job and didn't try to sell me more services. He was patient with my questions, as this is my first experience with a garage and I have two young children. I appreciated his advice and professionalism.

It went well. There was a little mix up on the time but it was good. They quickly identified the problem we were having with our garage door and they fixed it and frankly, it’s been a while now and it’s working perfectly so they did a good job.

The maintance went well. The installation was ok. My spouse was not as pleased with the install but the door looks good and works well.

Very well. Brandon was on time, courteous and made great suggestions for maintaining the doors. My only complaint is that we ordered the deal on line and were never contacted by the company. Had I not run across the confirmation in from AL in my inbox, we probably would have missed the expiration date. Vendors should have to follow up within a certain amount of time since we pay up front for the deals. Other than that - we were very pleased and would use this company again.

The contractor arrived on time, assessed the overhead door mechanism and determined that we needed a new mechanism. We agreed. He immediatelly installed a new mechanism in a timely, professional manner. He agreed to accept payment by check. He had all the tools needed for the job and had the needed new mechansim with him. My husband and I were completely satisfied.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and things went well. I was real pleased with them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very well. He had the parts with him so there were no problems. I paid an extra $100 because he also put in a box and 2 remotes. They came out the same day I called them.

My husband was here for the visit. He is pretty picky about service, so I am guessing it went well!

Went very well even replaced a bad push button on the wall.

Replaced the wheels the garage door rides on in the tracks. Made a great difference in the level of noise the garage door made. It is now much quieter!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He was on time. He was very pleasant. He did his work in half an hour. The door is much better and much quieter after he worked on it.

Prompt, efficient, extremely friendly. Gave us some good advice and even offered to come back and do a couple of follow up for free even if we didn't need it to.

They arrived 10 minutes earlier, checked both doors for me. They told me what was wrong with the door, how they were going to fix it. They fully used the time.

I was impressed by the fact that they replaced the spring width charging if I will replace the door with them. He had no commitment that I was going to work with him again. He replaced that spring and then whatever that was I call and they came and all was good.

I haven’t have any problem. I had a deal for $99. They came when they supposed to do.
