A & R Cleaning Service

Rosie visited with me a few days before the cleaning to see the house and quote a price. A few days after she and her crew came and cleaned the house. They did a good job.

I originally contacted A&R based on Angie's List reviews. Rosie set up a time with me and came right on time. She did a thorough walk through with me and assessed the current condition of our home. We set up a time for them to come. On that day, she was running a little late, but communicated this with me via text so I would know when to expect her. When she arrived she apologized profusely for being late and got right to work. Everything was cleaned to perfection and she exceeded my expectations.

They had a coupon for $40 off. I have her set up to do maintenance cleaning.

After trying to get estimates from a couple of franchise-type cleaning outfits which did not respond, I was pleased to get an immediate call back from the owner of A&R Cleaning, who arranged an on-site visit. We scheduled the initial in-depth cleaning later that same week. Future cleanings by a 2-person team are scheduled for 2 hours every other week to maintain the baseline they've established. A friendly 3-person team and the company owner arrived promptly with their equipment & supplies on the scheduled day. After a full day of dusting (lots of shelves with small objects & books), vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, the house looked and smelled clean (without a "janitorial" smell). I was impressed that team members even moved heavy furniture to clean underneath for the first visit. The work was thorough and performed carefully. The company owner was personally involved with the work, letting nothing escape her attention. A&R has set the bar high on the quality of their work.

They do a good job. They bring a lot of people at once. If you aren't at home, they still do a good job. They are also honest. I give them different amounts of work depending on what I need. They are pretty flexible. They get the house clean, and they are nice people.

I reviewed A & R Cleaning back in October when they did the deep clean on my home but I wanted to give an update since they have been cleaning every 2 weeks for 2 months. I still feel they are the best service I have ever used. They are flexible if a cleaning day has to be changed. Their cleaning is excellent. They are friendly and professional. They definately deserve the Super Service Award and I wanted to rate them again to thank them for their excellent work.

We've lived in a downtown condo for almost 3 years and have had two other housecleaning companies. Neither came close to this service - professional, fast and friendly. Oh, and the condo was cleaner than at closing.

I hired A & R to clean a friends house in advance of Thanksgiving. Since this was a gift that I was arranging for someone, Rosie and I had to make arrangements without her actually seeing the house in advance. We agreed on a base price and I mailed her a check and directions to my friends home. Having never met Rosie this was all arranged sight unseen, trusting that since I got her name off Angie's List, she would be dependable and the recommendations from others who used her services would be accurate. Once Rosie arrived at the house she gave me a call to update me on its condition. We then mutually agreed to make adjustments in the time needed to complete the work. When I arrived at my friends home on Thanksgiving, I was thrilled to see that it was gleaming. Light fixtures, hardware on cabinets, floors, etc were all done beautifully. I was very happy with the result and I know that the friend I secretly arranged this for was delighted as well. I would definitely use Rosie again ... maybe even for spring cleaning my own home.

My house has never been cleaned by an individual or service as well as Rosie and her team did last Saturday. A team of 4 people worked on my home and landscaping of front pathway for 7 hours. This was not because our house was a pigsty but because Rosie and her team are excellent at what they do. We paid another well known service several years ago the same amount of money and the house was not half as well done as it was by T&R Cleaning. It was excellent initiative on their part to have a member of the team that could offer yard help at the same time (Quinton). They were all very professional and helpful. I cannot say enough about their initiative and quality of work as well as the price being very reasonable. After the initial cleaning it is going to be $125 every 2 weeks and she seemed very flexible in what those visits could consist of as well. They also came on a Saturday at our request and I had not seen many cleaning services that even offered that possibility. I would recommend this company to anyone based on quality of work and price.

After the initial deep cleaning they came every week for regular cleaning. Their staff is very thorough, quick and does a good job. I will use them again in the future.

They did a great job. I think they pulled out some of the furniture to get behind them when they did the work. One of the workers may have been sick, which was the only thing that kind of bothered me a little bit, but other than that they did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do. They did not clean carpets for me; I don’t have much carpet anyways. I think I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They dusted everything in sight, even taking time to do the knick knacks. They washed all the windows, vacuumed, cleaned all the fans and cleaned all the bare floors. They did an excellent job.

Rosie and her crew did a great job on my apartment move out. 7 years of grunge was cleaned up like a new apartment. The move out inspector said he had never seen a move out cleaning that was done as well as this. It took a few more hours than I expected partly due to how dirty the place was, and party due to the fact I was supposed to get a 4 person cleaning crew but ended up with 3 instead. Rosie adjusted the price, which was fair considering the shape the apartment was in. I would HIGHLY recommend A & R to anyone especially if you have a difficult and dirty place that needs to be cleaned up like new.

Rosie and her team have done and do an excellent job. The quality of work is excellent, and I think the price is fair and probably a bit less than others. The slight downside to that is that sometimes they are a bit less professional than what you'd expect. I was lightly scolded for mentioning aloud the amount I wrote for the check one week - not sure why this was unless she's not advertising to her team how much each job is? That seemed a bit odd, but something that is simply avoided moving forward. I also felt like when we discussed the pricing upfront that the "math" being used to calculate how much to charge us changed / was lowered to fit a number I thought was appropriate. That aside, and frankly those are a bit minor things to me, I'm very pleased with the results for the money. Rosie and her team work very hard and deliver good results - and they are very friendly and polite.

The deep cleaning was excellent -- furniture was moved, wood work was cleaned, wood floors were spotless. After the seven (7) hours, Rosie and her crew were finished. I did not receive an Angie's list discount for the deep cleaning. The next day, as I was making the bed in the master bedroom, I noticed that a layer of dust was still behind the bed on the carpet and the electrical wires. When Rosie and her crew returned two (2) weeks later -- I asked her about the master bedroom; she stated that after they left, they realized that the bed had not been moved, but they would take care of it during today's cleaning. Accidents do happen -- Rosie slipped in our spa bathtub and a piece broke off a glass vase; the vase was not broken and I told her to not worry about it. Although I had been told that the regular cleaning should take about two (2) hours, when Rosie told me they were finished, she charged me for two and 1/2 hours -- no mention that she had already been paid for the master bedroom deep cleaning and that this extra 1/2 hour was probably for the cleaning, no discount for the broken glass piece..... nada. They are really good cleaners -- but I was ripped off. Will not recommend or use again.

They were fantastic. She came for deep cleaning and she brought her crew with her. There were a couple of glitches but overall it was amazing. They cleaned every single thing that you could see with your eye. They did a great job. It is quite difficult to find decent help.

These guys are really good. They worked hard and really got the place looking good. Rosie brought a crew of 3 and ended up working until 9 PM. They were really dedicated to getting the job done. Very happy.

Now that I have used A&R for several months, I wanted to add another recommendation based upon experience. Rosie and the crew always come when they say they will, do excellent work, and are a joy to work with. What more could you ask for?

Truly FABULOUS!!!!!!!! Rosie and her staff were running a bit behind schedule and called to explain that they were going to be a bit late. They showed up when they said they could and got to work. They thoroughly cleaned every area that we asked them to do. They were extremely polite and very professional. Based on the estimate that she gave me.....I thought it was quite pricey.....however, you get what you pay for. It was AMAZING how spotless the areas were. It was TOTALLY worth every penny!! I would HIGHLY recommend this lady and her staff to clean anyone's home. These days it's rare when you have someone perform a service for you that truly EXCEEDS your expectations. I am truly looking forward to telling EVERYONE I know to use Rosie and her staff for housecleaning services.

Rosie and her group came out an gave us an estimate for a deep clean of our home (basement included). We made an appointment for the following week and they were on time and did a fantastic job! We were so happy with the quality of work we've decided to bring her back every other week to maintain. Thanks Rosie!

Rosie is true to her word - called to let me know she was coming and did as she promised. Her team is very thorough in their cleaning and tries to go above and beyond. They bring their own supplies and work hard. I would recommend them!

Her name is Rosie Laury. She is fabulous. She's a good person and a professional. She does the cleaning in my son's house every two weeks. I have spoken to her several times. She is very conscientious and just perfect. It is remarkable to find somebody in any profession like that. She is just great. I would absolutely recommend her.

I called A&R based on the recommendations in Angie's List. Rosie came to the units and after discussing the work and price, we settled on $175. I gave her keys so she could start early and when I arrived at the units, she and her partner were almost finished. They did a great job and I was very happy with the work. I would definitely use them again.

I was very impressed by Rosie's professionalism and attention to detail. She came over to look at the house first and was specific in describing what she and her staff would be cleaning. After having difficulties in the past finding responsible cleaners who would try to accommodate my schedule, she was very open to arranging a time that would work for us and even better, working to get future cleanings on the calendar well in advance. She also was accommodating of my wanting more organic/non-toxic cleaners for our children's spaces. I was called on the day before the work was scheduled to confirm, and on the morning of the clean, she called me to update me on her slightly delayed arrival time, which was greatly appreciated. She and her staff of three other workers arrived and immediately got started. They worked approximately 6 hours and did a very good job of cleaning the house, especially the floors and bathrooms. Throughout the clean, Rosie asked if there was anything that needed special attention or if they had missed something. I would recommend A&R and look forward to using them regularly to help keep the house clean.
