They cleaned, and were very thorough.

The girl is called Rosy and she is very good. She really pays attention to details and she is very thorough.

They arrived and work like machines. I was completely impressed.

This was a Big Deal for 6 hours of cleaning for $179. Service was performed the day before my Christmas Eve gathering. Expecting 22 people. My house is a 2200 SF ranch but the master bedroom and master bath did not need to be done as they had just been remodeled and hadn't been used since. I did ask them to damp mop the floor in the bedroom to get some dust up. Other than that, They had only to sweep and dust 6 rooms and clean the kitchen and 1 1/2 baths. I had cleared the surfaces for them. There wasn't even furniture in 2 of the rooms as it was scheduled to be delivered after they left. The wood floors in 4 of those rooms were brand new and only needed sweeping, no mopping. All the doors and trim in the entire house was freshly painted and needed nothing. In all fairness I will say that we were at the end of a bathroom remodel so there was a lot of dust but I had already dust mopped the floors in every room. Also the full bath was dirty but the toilet was brand new so it needed nothing. I had seen other reviews saying they weren't able to get everything done and if they go over it is $85 an hour so I was careful to tell Rosie my priorities - dusting and cleaning the kitchen. I was shocked at how little they did. I could have done what they did in an hour and I am not a professional cleaner. They dusted 5 rooms and PART of ONE piece of furniture in the family room. They did not even sweep the wood floors. They cleaned the sink only in the full bathroom and swept the floor. They did not mop that bathroom floor or clean the shower. They never even touched the kitchen or the half bath at all, period. Rosie was talking on the phone when I left so while I had my priorities, obviously she did too and it wasn't cleaning. I truly think on the Big Deal they hope to go over on purpose and then you get stuck paying their ludicrous hourly rate which would be a huge mistake given how little they accomplish. I feel totally robbed and now I have to spend my evening cleaning.

Paid for the service on Dec 7. Haven't heard from the company to schedule. If the company can't be bothered to contact me I don't want irresponsible people like that entering my home.

Tried to schedule but provider was ill. Since the carprt guy had quit the business, A&R offered to try to find someone else but thought it would be better to get a refund from Angie's List. A&R had done housecleaning for me in the past and was totally reliable and did wonderful work. The cleaning part of the business deserves an A. But I think the carpet cleaning guy let her down.

I'm really glad I hired A&R to clean our house to prep it for sale. Rosie is very detail oriented and professional. She was able to accommodate a last minute cleaning request and was very professional and easy to get along with. She was really fair and did a wonderful job for us! I would highly recommend them for any house cleaning!

The provider was able to do same day service as I had found out tenants were moving in the next day. There was some confusion over the phone over the address that had been given and the caller did not at first identify themselves as the provider before asking for directions. Two subsequent calls on the estimate were similar in confusion and content. Although the price was given readily and fairly prior to work being completed.

They are more a housecleaning company, not a carpet cleaning company. They did show up late but the carpet did get clean.

There was a bit of confusion regarding the price for the service. What I thought we had agreed to was different than what she stated was the cost following the service. Following a conversation, we did settle on what the figure I had assumed so her cost structure was a bit fuzzy - at least to me. The quality of the work was OK but not outstanding. That said, we have a big house and had not used a cleaning service before so perhaps my expectations exceeded reality.

Amazing job. Rosie and her crew are some of the most thorough and hard working cleaning crews out there. Such attention to the little things.

What she did was extremely well done, those areas of the house have never been cleaner. however, because she was so detailed, she wasn't able to complete that much. also the numbers on the "big deal" didn't add up, which i don't believe were here fault, but I should have read more carefully.

Rosie said it would be 4 hours at $85/hr, then texted while she was cleaning and said she would be there two more hours. For nearly $500 (I got an Angie's List discount), I was expecting a completely clean space. When I arrived, I looked it over quickly and noticed they didn't even touch the inside of the oven. When I mentioned that to her daughter, she offered to clean it, but I was ok with that because I thought that was the only thing she missed. Then I noticed the broom closet wasn't cleaned and when I asked her daughter about it she said "I tried my best" and I took her word for it. When I came back a couple of days later and looked at it as a potential buyer would, I started noticing quiet a bit that they missed. I started working on the broom closet; it took me about 20 minutes to clean it right up. They also missed a big spot in the corner (hardwood floors). I wiped it with a rag and it came up. The toilet had a ring at the top of the water line; I poured bleach in the toilet and 30 minutes later, there was no ring. The walls and baseboards were supposed to be cleaned, but they weren't. I had to wipe them all down. She did do a fabulous job on the bathtub and refrigerator! There were two things that disappointed me the most, 1) if she quoted $340, I should have paid $340 or at least met in the middle - paying 5 hours instead of the 4 hours quoted and 6 hours worked and 2) she was really nice and I was looking forward to hiring her for regular cleanings, but now I won't.

It took several emails before any contact was made as they were not used to email contacts. I had to change the date originally selected and it caused a lot of confusion on the correct date. So several phone calls were had. Finally a date was scheduled and confirmed. But on the confirmed date they did not show up as schedule at the scheduled time. After several emails and phone calls found out that the crew had not been notified of this scheduled cleaning as the scheduler had been in the hospital. They then planned to do the next day on a Saturday. They called at 7:30 am on Saturday to confirm the 10 am time and to get the correct address as they were given the wrong one. They did show up ahead of schedule. I was quite concerned though because I am a single woman and a red unmarked pick-up truck showed up with two black men getting old equipment out of the back of the truck that had duck tape on the hose of one of the pieces of equipment. They identified themselves once at the door and started bringing in their equipment. They needed to know where there was a water outlet and where they could empty their dirty water. I have never had this asked of me by other clean companies I have used in the past. They reported that they do not use steam cleaning equipment as do other cleaning companies and use older cleaning equipment as they do a better job. They also do not move any furniture as other cleaning companies have. Luckily I am only 65 and quite agle yet and moved all the chairs out of the way so they could at least clean around the two eating tables and then I moved everything backed myself as they suggested that at least 24 hours take place before any movement was made on the freshly cleaned carpet.. So other than the concerns listed above, they SURPRISING did quite a nice cleaning job. Some of the spots that other cleaning companies were not able to get out were gone and are still gone.

She was very nice in scheduling a last minute cleaning before christmas. They crew was pretty slow, but I expected it as I had read the same in other reviews. But, they did an excellent job. One criticism is that I told her I had a small, but very calm dog that never met a stranger. The crew she sent carried on like it was a rabid tiger with Michel Myers, screaming, running hiding, ect. I did my best to keep her outside, but I bet the used up a half hour running from my her. I give an A for everything but the speed of cleaning and the ridiculousness surrounding my dog.

Cleaned 3 baths and no kitchen floor. Did dust 4 bedrooms and attempted vacuum but I will have to vacuum again afterward. Lots of time without alot of work finished. Bathrooms did look clean.

I contacted her by phone at first and we agreed upon a date. When I went back through Angie's List to buy the Deal, it made me select three dates. The first was the date we agreed to, but she chose a different date. I called to say we had already agreed to 12/2, but she chose another date. After discussing with her, she agreed to come out on the original date, 12/2. She comes out the first day. She has a problem with the place as there was some construction work done (drywall dust). I'm not sure what the problem was. She worked through it with Angie's List and said she'd come back out. On the second visit, unfortunately, the water had been shut off and I put a lock on it as the property was uninhabited. She went in to clean and said she did the best she could without water, but she said my time was up. I agreed that the water shouldn't have been shut off during the cleaning, but I honestly had forgotten about it being shut off. I would have assumed she would have contacted me about the water being off or just not cleaned that day. I don't know how she cleaned sinks, toilets, bathtubs, etc. without water. She said she would come back out at an additional charge. I would prefer her to come back out to re-clean when the water is on, at no additional charge.

The initial contact was made by myself via phone. I left a voicemail and expected to be contacted within a 24 hour period. I was contacted 4 days later with the excuse of the provider was sick and couldn't call people back. I understand being sick and gave the benefit of the doubt, however, I was immediately suspicious given the other reviews re: not showing up on time, not returning phone calls, etc. I asked for the consultation to be on friday, 11/29 as I knew I would be home and the rush of the holiday should have died down. I was told this would be fine and we agreed on a meeting time of 1:30pm at my home. I made sure to repeat the time and date and provided my contact number again to ensure there would be no issues contacting me should there be an issue. I would also like to say that if this date had NOT worked out, this would have been the correct time to say so and reschedule to a time that was convenient for everyone. I rearranged my entire day on Friday to ensure that I was available at 1:30pm and continually checked my phone for any updates. I had even forwarded my work phone(s) to my personal phone so there would be no issues. One-thirty came and went, as did 2, 2:30 etc. I'm sitting here at 3:45 with no-one showing up. I am extremely disappointed in the customer 'service' aspect of this particular service provider. We live in an age of technology where there is absolutely not reason to not contact someone if there is a hiccup in a schedule and that is certainly the expectation of a service provider to be competitive in today's market. I am glad that this was demonstrated up front as I do not enjoy having people around my home that I cannot trust and I honestly consider this a 'dodged bullet'. I would have also thought that with nearly all other negative scores for this provider being on this SAME topic, some effort would be put into mitigating the factor so that it does not continue to happen. The provider's responses to other peoples feedback now comes across as mere lip-service as there is no effective solution that has been implemented. Such a shame.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. The rugs look good, but I am not sure they rinsed out the soap that they put in carpet. They used a machine that put the cleaner and water in the carpet, and another guy came with a big vacuum machine, and vacuumed up the water, but I never saw any mechanism to rinse all the soap out of the carpet. If there is a lot of soap left in the carpet, it will attract a lot of dirt. Where another company that I used before, have a mechanism which puts the cleaner on, and then rinses it. I put my carpets in less than a year ago, and I feel that they will attract a lot of dirty, and now I feel like I should call the other company to come out and clean the soap. I had a hard time setting up the schedule after I bought the big deal.

I was not home, this was a birthday present and my sister was here. I got home before they left. I left a long list for them to do. I am embarrassed to say but think it is important for this review to say my house was filthy and the two ladies that were here, got it CLEAN! My sister states that they were professional, friendly, and worked the entire time. I met them before they left and I found them to be friendly and professional. My house was clean! I will be hiring these ladies on an on-going regular basis. They are the first house cleaners that I have wanted to hire on a regular basis.

They did a great job. They were very thorough & made sure no areas were missed. We would definitely use them again.

I bought $99 promo for carpet cleaning (up to 1,100 sq f.). I've talked to Rosie on the phone and scheduled an appointment for 3 weeks ahead. On the day on the appointment I had to come home early but unfortunately nobody have shown up. I?ve called Rosie and she rescheduled me for a week later for 10 o?clock in the morning. The workers (two men) showed up at 10:40 AM. The men were polite and friendly. The carpet cleaning machine that they brought into the house looked very much out-of-date. They cleaned 3 areas of carpet in the basement and a walk in closet off the bedroom. The basement looks just ok but the carpet in walk in closet looks worse that it was. There are dirty looking stripes all across the carpet like somebody spilled dirty water and let it dry. It?s not a big area (10x6) so I?m just going to pull it up and buy a new carpet. The bottom line is that this is not a professional carpet cleaning company and probably they do a good job cleaning houses but not the carpets.

Even though the technician used a "rug doctor" type of cleaner he did a better job than Stanley Steemer. He got up stains they missed. He was courteous and worked quickly. The only drawback was the ad said it was for cleaning AND deodorizing. This usually means a deodorant spray after the cleaning. I forgot about it and apparently so did he. Even so it was such a good job and a good value with 4 rooms for $99 versus the 3 room deal Stanley Steemer offers I am very happy!

I set a date and time to meet the provider. The provider did not call or show up for the appointment. The provider never called to apologize or reschedule.
