We found the Mr. Electric company to have a professional and courteous attitude. They went out of their way to try to address our complaints. However, ultimately they were lacking in technical skills and we had to hire someone else. Also, they charged more than their competitors without any additional quality benefits.

Carl came by the same afternoon I called, isolated the problem almost immediately, and fixed it. It was an outdoor outlet that was broken and rusted. The box was also set too far back behind the siding, so he replaced that as well. It was very expensive (the markup on their parts is ridiculous), but I'm glad to not worry about it anymore. He also gave me some advice about my smoke alarm and an informal idea of how much to run extra wiring for more outlets. He was very personable and neat and didn't leave a mess or anything like that.

They were good and did a good job. I recommend them and will continue to use their services in future.

My old gas fired heater self-destructed. I asked the pool company to install a new heater ASAP and decided on a heat pump to reduce operating cost. I looked at Angie's list for an electrician and selected Mr. Electric. They responded to my call immediately and coordinated the work with the pool company installer. The electrician was very professional and did a good job as far as I can tell. Everything worked immediately, and I have had no problems with it. My only reservation is that the cost seemed very high for what seemed to be a fairly simple job. The tech figured out the price from a pricing manual like the one the auto dealer service departments use. I would advise getting two estimates before using this company. If the price is right, everything else is fine.

Two lights stopped working almost simultaneously in our garage. We were sort of worried that there was a short or something in the system, so we went ahead and put in an after-hours call. The tech arrived and checked into the problem and said it was just that both fixtures were pretty old. He replaced them with simple almost-identical fixtures. I delayed putting in this report just to make sure, but the lights have worked perfectly ever since. It's true that they are expensive but I feel that electricians fall under the same rule of thumb as plumbers...what you are paying for is partly all the training (time & study & experience) that lets them find and fix the problem so quickly. I will probably use them again if we have other electrical issues.

They cut the hole in the wrong place, but it wasn't a major issue as a cabinet was going to be placed over it. They said they would make custom plates for the switches, but I saw the same plates at Home Depot.

He was fabulous and we loved him. We got their name off the list. We spent a total of about $1800 on that service. He was very efficient, very polite, and very clean which we found in Kentucky isn?t always the case. He covered his shoes every time he walked in our house and put his own door mat out front. He was fast, quiet, did his work and we never heard a peek from him. We were very impressed. He was on time and he his job and in the time he told us it was going to take. His price is a little high, but when we picked the cheapest builder we got burned badly, so that is not always the best one to pick. He is also insured, bonded and the work is guaranteed, so if there is a problem we know that he is going to come back and take care of it.

I called Mr. Electric Monday morning. Carl came out first thing Tuesday morning to give me an estimate, then stayed and started on the work immediately. The job was too large to finish in one day so he came back with a helper on Thursday and finished up. Carl was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me with the planning and then did the job quickly and professionally. The quality of the work was top notch and he cleaned up after himself. He even put on little paper booties before coming into the house so as not to track in any dirt. I will certainly call Mr. Electric next time in need an electrician.

They were very professional to work with. Extremely polite, nice, helpful and prompt. However, I had already purchased the floresent lights so I thought they were expensive for a couple hours of work.

They are really good but they are really expensive. They are able to get out to you quickly, they know what they are doing and they are professional. They are very reliable, so you do pay what you get for.

They arrived on time had a price list of what the service was going to cost they fixed my switch and will be back to do more work next week

Overall they did a good job and I?m pleased with the service. I found them on Angie?s List and they were also one of several providers at a trade show.

The quality of his work was good. His price was reasonable. I will use him again in the future.
