Dave was really great to work with. He was very flexible in working around our schedule and he was able to get a crew out to our business to perform this work on short term notice. This experience could not have gone better! We'll use Mathis exclusively for any future flooring needs we have.

Excellent, fast service at 1/2 the price from Lowes for the exact same flooring. Wonderful, locally owned business. Use them!

Mathis Carpet had done my previous flooring (2005 carpet in finishing the basement and 2010 - main floor laminate) needs and I am very happy with the quality of work, timeliness of response. They are a little pricey though. Based on our previous satisfaction with what they had done, we utilized Mathis Carpet for Stairs and basement flooring needs in Sep 2011. Very happy with the results, quality of work and time taken to finish the job.

All went extremely well. They had the lowest estimate of the 3 companies with which we checked. Lori at Mathis was very easy to work with. She arranged to get us good size samples in order for us to make our final selection. The installers arrived as scheduled, moved the furniture out of the room, took up and removed the old carpet and padding, installed the new carpet flawlessly and left the area "shipshape". Very pleased with the results.

They installed it fairly quickly, but there was some bubbling in it after about 3 weeks. I called to let them know and they came out and fixed it right away. A small rip was put in the corner of the vinyl when they fixed the bubbling, but I took care of that with some caulk. Overall we're very pleased, and the price is average for this area.

I hate these categories; A is Excellent. Excellent is rare, but a lot of folks check A no matter what. My overall experience was good. The price was fair. Everything else was good, except that I chose a carpet of fair value, not great, because I was selling the house and did not want to buy top quality. The installation job was good enough, being installed on the grain, true to the room, but they could have trimmed the extra strings that were left at the thresholds and around the room where the carpet was cut for installation. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this company. I have used them before and will use them again.

Really liked the worker. He was prompt, quick, and reasonably priced. My only comment is that in at least one doorway, I could tell that it was patched - it didn't seem as good as the other doorways. Wasn't bad enough to get him back, however. I am probably the only one that could see it, being the homeowner and knowing where it was patched.

Could not ask for a better local company. We used Mathis years ago for a carpet install and liked them so much we came back to them when we moved into our new home. They are personable, honest, friendly and efficient. You just can't get any better customer service than what they give!! The carpet looks amazing and they did a fantastic job. If we need carpet again anywhere, or even flooring, Mathis will be our first stop!!

Excellent. David Mathis came personally to give an immediate estimate with carpet samples. Two other companies wanted us to come to their showroom first. Installers were on time and worked at a constant pace the entire time (i.e. no cell phone calls, no frequent breaks). They even did a some extra carpet trimming in another room at no charge on two occassions. Great guys!

All employees were so helpful. I was pressed for cash and Dave worked with me to find something that worked within my price range. I am super pleased!

Called to request estimate for installation of new hardware floors in kitchen. Was told that appointment at my home had to be during business hours. On day of appointment, took off time from work. No one showed up. Called back and after long delay was told that there was a mix-up and so appointment had to be cancelled. Again, was told that a reschedule could only occur during business hours. We went with a company that was more customer friendly, flexible, and reliable.

Excellent experience. They met a very tight schedule and they performed flawlessly. They exceeded my expectations.

We are very impressed with this company. From our initial visit to look at carpet to the final installation everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful. We appreciate the good customer service attitude of everyone at the company. We had an estimate from another company and the measurements they made differed significantly from the Mathis measurements. We had Mr. Mathis come back and check his measurements and he verified that they were correct in his opinion, and he would stand by them. The pricing per yard from Mathis was also the best that we found. Therefore, we saved money both on the amount of carpet we had to buy and on the unit pricing. I believe these people really know what they are doing. The installers did a great job, moved and returned the furniture to the rooms, and were good to work with. We highly recommend this company.

They paid attention to details. I was perfectly happy with the way they did and it was perfect by the time we were done. They came back this morning and shaped off a little bit on the bottom of the door that may hit in the floor just a little bit. I will definitely use them again.

Mr. Mathis was very responsive and provided all information requested in advance of the work including diagrams with seam locations annotated. We arrived at a compatible contract that included an increase in price because of a miscalculation by Mr. Mathis. We were able to complete all documentation via the internet. Work began exactly on time to begin the project. Some carpet was not available so we negotiated an agreeable date for its installation. The workers arrived about an hour late for the second installation. Carpet installation went well and Mr. Mathis arrived shortly after completion to inspect the work and drop off the invoice.

Got an estimate from Mr. Mathis and we set a date for install. A few days before the install he called to apologize and stated our tile had not come in as expected. They were supposed to start the job on Tuesday but would not have the tile until Thursday. We rescheduled and they showed up promptly on Thursday and finished in two days instead of the three he originally estimated. They layed concrete backer board and then the tile, and it all looked great. Mr. Mathis has been one of the few contractors I have dealt with in the last few years that I feel I can depend on. He is one of the few people left that take pride in their family business and the job they do. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Great company. Mr. Mathis did a nice job giving recommendations on carpet to replace in the bedroom as we were looking just to replace one room and match with adjoining carpet in the hallway. Accurate was estimate. They were timely and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Exactly as Mr. Mathis said it would. Hardwood is expensive! You definitely want to have someone who is honest, reliable and knowledgeable in charge, which is exactly what we got with Mathis. Very professional, lots of experience, excellent workmanship.

They do a great job. There was a cut sometime, and they gave me a discount, cut the price in half.
