My family has used Mathis Flooring for years because it's a family-run business and they're great. We'd had a major water leak on the first floor of our townhouse (which is on a concrete slab), and needed entirely new flooring. From start to finish, David Mathis and his skilled employees took care of me, including perfect reliability as to when they said they'd arrive. David, his store assistant, Savannah, and his work captains, Dewayne and Jeremy, were so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Every single crew member was a gentleman, and I appreciated and liked them. Plus now I have a truly beautiful floor. I'm so happy I went to this privately-owned small business. I recommend them hands down. They were A+++.

Both jobs done simultaneously by different crews. No complaints. Issues discovered afterwards were corrected without question the next day.

They were punctual, friendly and very helpful with advice on what to buy. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again.

I love Mathis Flooring! I have used them twice now and would use them again a 3rd and 4th time! They are very good and what they do, prompt and on time, start the job earlier than anticipated, and they have really transformed my newly purchased houses from old and dated to modern and clean looking! Renee that works in the office is such a sweet lady too! Such a great team they have! The pictures I have show the new floor a little dusty because they were still installing it and obviously it hadn’t been cleaned, but trust me it is BEAUTIFUL!

David promptly returned my call and we met to go over the job. He quickly returned an estimate and we scheduled the job. The crew were on time and did a very professional job. The hardwood on the landing matched the downstairs hardwood perfectly and the stair treads were stained to match. Very satisfied

Both the purchase process & the installation process went very smoothly. Everyone I was in contact with were both friendly & professional. The process was much simpler than dealing with a big box store & you can trust what they tell you. I will return here for any future flooring needs.

We bought a house that was, surprise surprise, in MUCH worse shape than we thought. As a young family on a single income, we were very impressed by Mathis Flooring. Upon closing, we discovered that all the carpet in our house (approx 2000 sq ft) needed to be replaced. We were certainly not expecting this expense. We are always looking for local businesses to use, vs the big box stores. Mathis Flooring did their best to give us the most durable carpet for the best price. Everybody, from the woman at reception (I think her name was Lori??), to Vernon who did the estimate, to the gentleman who came to install our carpet, was amazing. I'm sure she was not only a receptionist, as she was very knowledgeable about the different types of carpets. And my wife was she was very sweet to my little girl. Everybody was on time, which was especially important to us as, at the time, we lived on the other side of town and my pregnant wife had to travel across town with our toddler to let the gentlemen in for estimates and installation. We have a tricky curved staircase which turned out perfectly. These men are truly experienced. We have been so busy so we apologize for this delayed review, but we would 100% recommend Mathis Flooring to anybody. It's been almost a year and the carpet still looks great (with 2 kids, a dog, and 2 cats!)

Replaced carpeting in three upstairs bedrooms, large hallway, and two staircases. David Mathis was quick to provide a quote and order the carpet. The installers worked quite hard and were very conscientious. They did a super job and put up with less-than-stellar air conditioning the entire time. Would definitely use them again.

Installers worked well together and did a good job. If you need to call in another serviceman to check something, ie a leak, call your own professional. The plumber the installer called was very nigh.

Excellent. Everyone from start to finish was very courteous and professional. The installers knew what they were doing and were very meticulous. Everyone went the extra mile to help us and we would definitely use them again.

Extremely well. Installers arrived on time and were very professional. They cleaned up EVERYTHING before leaving and left the home spotless. New carpet is first class --and looks it! We have dealt with Mathis Flooring several times in the past. There have been a few "glitches" with some Engineered hardwood laid over vinyl kitchen floor but the folks at Mathis were quick to respond and did everything they possibly could (including re-installation) to fix the problem. No other company that we have dealt with has ever done that!

Everybody showed up when they said they would be here. From the estimate to the installation. Everybody was extremely professional and willing to answer any question and/or explain what was occurring. They installed carpet in every room of our upstairs and steps, over 120 yards. Outstanding job!

Mr. Mathis came to my home to measure and give a price quote. I had already visited the store to view samples. They had extensive samples and a knowledgeable staff person who assisted me. Mr Mathis was pleasant to work with. They scheduled the installation around my schedule. I will update after installation on 9/18/14.

There were extremely reasonably priced. They arrived on time and completed the work in minimal time.

Because of the heating and air problems we had, we had to post a hole in the carpet being put down several times and they were able to work with us on that and still make it happen before Christmas. They were just helpful and friendly. The price was fair.

We requested an in home estimate for carpeting for our home. The area was measured and all additional charges were calculated in the estimate. The quote for the carpet and the installation were reasonable, and there were no hidden costs. The staff worked with me to determine the best type of carpet for our home and provided carpet samples for me. We decided to buy the carpet from Mathis Flooring because they were very responsive to our requests. We had to have some other work on the house and Mathis was very agreeable to working with our tight schedule. The installation crew was excellent. They showed up on time and went right to work. They were very professional, completed the work within the expected 2 days, and did an excellent job. They took extra effort to make sure that the carpet was installed properly with a minimum amount of seams. I am very pleased with both the sales staff and the installation crew, and would be pleased to recommend Mathis Flooring.

The people were awesome. There was a problem getting the commode turned back on and they got a plumber out to fix it at no additional cost to us. The original floor was about $2,000, which was more than I could afford, but they worked with us so that we could do some of the work, which reduced the cost. They were very nice, easy to work with and professional. I don't know if there was anything they could have done better.

I'd HIGHLY recommend this family-owned and run company. I dealt with Vernon, the father, and he was wonderful. Very nice to work with, really knows the business, and is committed to customer satisfaction. He employs only highly professional installers with long-time experience. Sam installed my tile and he was very nice and extremely good at what he did, attending to the tiniest detail. Mattis Flooring is very competitive in pricing, and even some lower than most. I wouldn't hesitate using this company again.

Dave and his crew provided excellent customer service. The floors were installed without problems. Their work was excellent. They hauled away the old kitchen appliances so the new floor could be put down prior to the arrival of new appliances. Dave even sent the vinyl guy back out after the job was completed to cover the laundry room with a piece that was left over. Except for a slight hiccup on scheduling between the vinyl, laminate and arrival of new appliances, which was quickly resolved the whole process went extremely smoothly. I wish everyone provided such great customer service as Mathis Flooring.
