Their workers were prompt in arriving to clean. Brad stopped by a few hours into it to check on things and make sure everything went well. Brad explained how crucial it was to have a good filter on each furnace and to make sure air couldn't pass around the filter; he showed me how the filter we were using wasn't the ideal one and told me which one I should buy at Lowes or Home Depot. I learned its important to keep that filter on there and run the air for the next week after they installed so the air would push any remaining dust into the filter. He also said that if you keep your fan on all the time that you probably need to change those accordion type filters out every 2 months because the increased air flow would make them dirtier more quickly. Good to know. I had a question about the service a couple hours after they left and Brad called me back immediately to resolve my issue and make sure I was satisfied. I'm really big on customer service so I definitely appreciated that. You definitely get what you pay for with KY Clean Air and I would recommend them to my friends.

My wife and I just purchased a house "AS-IS: and discovered that the furnace filters looked like they had not been changed in years. We called Kentucky Clean Air to clean the ducts, based on their "A" rating on Angie's List. We set the appointment over the phone for the following week. About a half hour before the appointment, they called to confirm that they would be there at the appointed time. They showed up on time and immediately got to work. They were very professional and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. During their work they found two supply ducts had been disconnected from the upstairs furnace and reconnected them for us. Brad and Chad also took the time to point out some potential problems with the basement furnace and recommended a reputable Heating/AC company to us to call to evaluate the furnace systems. They were very thorough in their work and spent over six hours cleaning our air ducts. I recommended them highly: They are professional, punctual, and personable. Their price was fair and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations.

They called about an hour early and asked if it was convenient to arrive early, which it was. They gave me two estimates, both of which were lower than I feared. I had an old vinyl hose with several holes in it, and I already knew that would have to be replaced. I'd say they were here about an hour. They cleaned up after themselves and got the work done with a minimum of fuss. I am very happy it didn't cost as much as I thought it would and glad that my home is a little safer now. Thanks, guys!

Not much to tell, really. I found this company on Angie's List and called the number. Brad said he would call the next day around noon and he did and said they'd be over in about an hour. They did a very thorough job. Just as an aside, Brad is a fascinating and interesting guy to talk to. They cleaned up afterwards also, including vacuuming all the dryer lint blown out into the patio and surrounding areas. This is something the previous company did not do. Highly recommend this company.

They did a great job and they were very nice to work with. It was a really good service. They put cameras in your ducts to show you the build up.

I called and spoke with Brad and they were coming back from a job they had done out of town. I was told they would be here within the hour and they were here before the hour was up. They were very professional, came in cleaned my dryer vent inside and out. I feel such a sense of relief now that this is done because of so many fires these days. I was even given very good advice by Brad and Chad on taking care of my dryer and and when to have it cleaned again. They also ask when my Air ducts had been cleaned, it has been sometime ago and they have a camera where they can show you the dirt and lent in your ducts, I was quoted a excellent price to have this done but no pressure from this company at all. I told them I had just installed a new furnace and had spent so much money lately I will have to wait a little while before I do this and they were so nice and even told me I could pay this in two payments. That is the next thing I will be doing to my home. This is a great company who does a great job and I would recommend them to everyone! i

Chad and Brad both came to give us an estimate and called the next day to follow up. We liked their professionalism and chose them from 2 other estimates. They arrived to do the air duct cleaning and carpet cleaning right on time. They took so much care and pride in their work, I'm still amazed. My husband was here while they were working, but I stopped by on my lunch hour and they explained what they had found and done to me, repeating what they had already told my husband. I couldn't believe they took the time to do that. They knew I have had a lot of trouble with allergies lately since moving in this house and they seemed sincere in their concern. I believe they did everything possible to give us clean air! We also had two carpets cleaned and did a great job. I can't believe they came so clean! Overall, they are way above an A, but that's the highest I could give them on the questionaire.

I was referred to KY Clean Air by another company that had just installed a new furnace for me, because I was looking for a dependable company to clean my air ducts for a reasonable price. When I gave KY Clean Air a call, they were very quick to schedule a time to come and give me a free estimate and were able to accomodate my schedule. I was able to schedule a day for them to come and clean my air ducts, which was difficult for me as I was unaware that it would require a whole day for them to complete the job as my home is rather large - they estimated that it would take from about 10:30am to about 5:30pm or 6pm. The workers from KY Clan Air gave me a courtesy call this morning before arriving at about 10:45am at which time they explained the duct cleaning process to me in detail and what they would be doing throughout the day - I was very impressed. At about 3pm, they had got to the basement area when they hit a slight problem and realized there was mold in the main vent and explained that that was the only vent they would be unable to clean - understandably. They explained what I needed to do and gave me the necessary information. At that point, the owners of the company showed up to help out and another problem was discovered... my dryer vents were made of plastic and were a serious fire hazard! Not only that BUT at one point, they had come disconnected, so all the hot air was dispersing throughout the basement ceiling. This was a major problem that they could fix but it was now 5pm and this looked like a major job, as it required cutting out the drywall in the basement bathroom ceiling and installing all new dryer vents, which they did not have the materials for on-hand, since they were not there for that type of job. While discussing this problem, I asked what the possibility of having it done today was, and the owners said "let's see what we can do" - I was hoping they could fix it the same day because taking another day off of work would be a hassle and it was just more convenient to have it done right then. A few minutes later, one of the owners came back and said they would get it taken care of - I was happily surprised as it was already so late! The men from KY Clean Air did not leave my home until 8pm! They worked non-stoop from 10:45am until 8pm until they got the job done and I am sooooo greatful!!!! I have not seen a work ethic such as theirs in a very long time and their price was more than reasonable. The amount of work they did and time they spent in my home was worth every penny!!!! I recommend KY Clean Air to ANYONE seeking air duct cleaning, vent replacement, or any other service they provide!!!!

Before they did the actual work on our ducts, they came and took a look at our ducts, showed me video images of the inside of a few pipes and provided an estimate. The final cost was exactly what they had given me on the estimate. Overall I believe it went very well. They showed up on time (even called me 30 min. before to remind me they were on their way). They went straight to work by taking off all the vents and inspecting the ducts with a video camera that could be inserted into the pipes. Then they began cleaning the all the ducts by Shop Vac, including the vent covers. After that they used a vacuum that went into the ducts and swept/brushed and vacuumed out dust, dirt and debris. After they finished everything they could do from in the house, they took the vacuum system to the crawl space and continued there. They cut a few strategic openings in the supply and return ducts, did the cleaning and then sealed them up tight. Lastly they sprayed in a mild mist to help sanitize the system. Our system was quite dirty and they were able to give it a thorough cleaning, showing me before and after video shots of the ducts. They were very clean and organized. They even pointed out other things they saw during the cleaning that I might want to investigate, such as gaps in duct work or places where mold had been. Our house is a little over 1500 sq ft. They (three workers) arrived at 9 AM and finished at 5 PM, so it took all day. They were extremely polite and very focused on doing the best job possible. I felt there were extremely trustworthy. The only negative thing I might say is that they seemed to field a lot of phone calls while on the job. I believe this is because it's really a 2-3 person business and they are connecting with other clients throughout the day. We moved to our house last fall and I really feel much better about our duct work and HVAC now. The system was quite filthy and I'm sure it is cleaner, healthier, and most likely more efficient.

I attempted to clean my dryer vent from the outside of my house with my wet/dry vacuum; however, the extension tool on the vacuum got stuck in the dryer vent. I called Kentucky Clean Air and they came out to take a look at the problem. First they attempted to get it out from the outside of the house, but it was in too deep. They told me a dryer vent cleaning would probably force it out and they were right! I was due for a dryer cleaning anyway. In addition to their professionalism and the excellent job that they did, they also worked around my work schedule. This was really appreciated. I would definitely recommend them.

Called to ask if they did dryer vent cleaning. They do and he said that they could stop by after they finished up a job in approximately 1 1/2 hours. I think they arrived before then. They were WONDERFUL! Very professional, very courteous and they did way more than I expected. I cannot say enough good about their service! I'm having them come back to clean the house vents next week.
