Kentucky Clean Air

We highly recommend Kentucky Clean Air. We had previously tried two other air duct cleaning services at prior homes. One lacked professionalism and both were mediocre in quality, so we were pretty hesitant to try out another one. We can honestly say though that Kentucky Clean Air surpassed the other companies in every way including knowledge, quality, professionalism, and customer service. Every person we encountered, from the person who provided our phone quote to the two technicians who cleaned out our ductwork to the owner, was super professional, informative, and friendly. The price was also reasonable. The two technicians who came to our home performed the work in a timely manner and continually kept us apprised of their progress. Additionally, they discovered a few issues with our ductwork connections to the vents of which we were unaware. They even went so far as to fix the issues that did not require an HVAC professional. After the service was completed, we had some follow-up questions, so we contacted the company and promptly received a call back from the owner, Chad. The level of customer support provided was incredible (above and beyond what probably 90% of companies offer nowadays). He clearly takes pride in his company, cares about his customers' satisfaction, and has a level of integrity that is extremely rare in today's world. We cannot say enough good things about him and his company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The workers clearly did not want to be here. When asked how the drive from Lexington was, one replied, "Long." Other attempts at small talk was met with monosyllabic responses. They asked about a place to set out their equipment and I guided them to the dining room which they said was fine. I was curious about exactly how they were going to get their brushes through all the duct work, but they didn't seem to be able to explain. turns out they had to drag the large piece of equipment upstairs, to the basement and around the main floor. I stayed out of their way. They took a couple of before and after pictures to show what had changed. Turns outs, my ducts were not that dirty to begin with.. i had chosen this company because it was the only one that said they cleaned up any mold or mildew I spoke with a representative and specifically asked if they serviced the Louisville area, as their address is in Lexington. The representative said they would do "select" homes. He asked me several questions about my house - number of floors, type of furnace, square footage and gave me an estimate over the phone. In hindsight, I should have looked harder to find someone in Louisville, so that I would not inconvenience the workers. After they left, we went around and looked at all the registers. A couple had not been screwed back in place, but just pushed in, the screws nearby.

Excellent. A delight to work with Chad and his team. Very professional and thorough. The air in my house not only smelled better but even looked more transparent. Needed to have this done after mold remediation and I am very glad that I did. Chad was very helpful.

The technicians that came to clean my dryer vent probably kept my house from eventually catching fire. I had no idea all that stuff was in my vent work! I have always faithfully cleaned the screen after each load, but the piles of stuff that they cleaned out... I couldn’t believe. I will definitely be calling these guys every couple years. They were GREAT!

They were very polite, professional and did a thorough job. They were also very careful around my property and kept their shoes covered while they were in my home. I'm a retired HVAC professional and Kentucky Clean Air is best that I've found in central Kentucky.

It was great! A whole team came, on time, and worked diligently and professionally until they had finished. Everybody knew their job and got right to it. I have mold in my basement that has spread throughout that level. Since their cleaning, when I've gone downstairs to work on the mold it actually seems to have receded! I thought the price was high at first, but when I saw them in action I thought it was quite reasonable. And now I would say it was well worth it!

Arrived on schedule. Took less than an hour.

First, they called last night to confirm and gave a brief summary of what we could expect. They were punctual, arrived at 8:30am. The were here till about 1:30pm. They worked hard. No talking, no cell phones, just worked to get the job done. Before I signed the check, I was shown three before and after pictures of the ducts. What an amazing difference! It was recommended that the process be done again in 4 to 6 years. It was suggested that we have someone come out and clean the furnace.

I can't say enough good things about this company, from the time i contacted them until they arrived i was kept informed. the team came on time, went right to work and did not stop until the job was done. my home furnishing were well protected, the crew were friendly and informative. i would recommend this company to anyone. they cleaned 17 units, 5 returns, 2 central air units and went into the attic to insure i had air flow to all rooms, in addition they added sanitizer to the units, the house smells wonderful. all of my units are ceiling. you can't go wrong using this company.

It was a very pleasant experience. Chad was very easy to work with to schedule the cleaning. His team was very efficient and polite. David (?), team lead for the day, took pictures of my duct work to show me the difference. He also found a problem at the exit of the furnace. There is mold/mildew on the duct work. I am renting the home and will contact the landlord about that. This rental property is about 10 - 12 years old. There was a good size dog living in the house before us. Before that, I have no idea. That was the deciding factor to get the ducts clean. It gave me peace of mind. Thank you Chad and David!!

We were not sure that this was a great thing to do. But after they videoed the ducts we were convinced. Our house was built 26 years ago at the time, and after the dry wall sanding dust and misc. pieces of drywall that fell into the registers, there was a lot of junk in the ducts. We decided to have it done in hopes of cutting down on the amount of dust that accumulates in the house and to make the HVAC air flow more efficient. They did a thorough job, vacuuming, all of the ducts. They actually un hooked the ducts in the attic and crawl spaces, as well as going thrpough the registers. I am convined they did a complete and conscientious job. Have no real way to measure the dust or the efficiency of the airflow after the job was completed. As an engineer, I would think there was some increase in the efficiency. Since my wife and I are VERY inconsistent dusters, it is hard to say how much the dust was reduced. At around te same time, we changed our furnaces and went geothermal. I am sure it was a worthwhile thing to do - at least once. I am glad we did it, and do not plan to do it again.

Went great. They called before coming, arrived promptly, went to work quickly and quietly. There were 2 technicians, a young man and young lady. They answered all my questions and showed me how much was cleaned out of the vent. (We had a house fire some years ago because the vent had become clogged, after which I have become very vigilant about keeping it clean. I wanted to see exactly how much had built up in a year and I wanted to know if I had been doing a good job of keeping it clean.) They did not leave any mess. I used Coit the last time, but I liked this company better and felt they paid much more attention to detail.

They are great. The guy I used before retired and they took over his list. They did an excellent job. They are the guys to use if you need your ducts cleaned. They were top notch.

The two gentlemen arrived on time, were very personable and professional, and went straight to work. I used a Groupon that I had for the straight vent cleaning/dryer vent cleaning and then purchased the return vents and Sanitization to kill dust mites, any mold/mildew etc. in the vent system. They did a great job, and I would use them again.

It went great.very professional, neat handling their equipment. with all my questions when I asked them. Everyone was very polite and did everything to make me comfortable while they were working. I have a German Shepard and they went right to the living to work there first so my dog could stay there w ith me while they worked. I recommend them highly.

Everything went great. He was unable to clean dryer vent as it has to be replaced but he was prompt, friendly, and thorough with his assessment.

Loved this company! Brad & Chad, the owners of the company, came out and gave an estimate. I have a large house & they estimated a day and a half to get it all done. That's exactly what it took. Brad & Chad were here both days, with 2 helpers, & all 4 worked very hard. Several times they sought me out to show pictures they had taken & to explain things. I love it when time is taken to explain what's going on & the reasoning behind what they're doing & what I can do to to keep things in good shape. They are very knowledgeable about their field. Another plus, they were punctual! Will definitely use them again, especially to clean my dryer vent on a yearly basis.
