Description of Work: I had a clogged exhaust from my dryer that was a potential fire hazard. I called to arrange for the repair and Brad told me that they could come late the next afternoon. He called back the next day if he could come early. I agreed. He came by and promptly took care of the problem. We agreed to have them come back and clean the a/c ducts. He had estimated six hours to complete the job, but had four people rather than two and finished in less than three hours.

Description of Work: Brad completely cleaned all the furnace ducts and dryer duct in an approx. 1000 square foot, 2 story townhouse. He took videos of before and after cleaning. We were dismayed as to the GROSS condition before the cleaning. He also observed that one of the metal ducts was rusting and that we should plan on replacing it in the future. When the project was done, they thoroughly cleaned up the work area. Top flight job! Highly recommend!

Description of Work: We purchased our home new from what we THOUGHT was a reputable builder. Our HVAC system never seemed to work correctly and the amount of dust in our home was unbearable. We finally researched cleaning the duct work. After a disastrous phone call to a company advertising with a Groupon (they couldn't answer any of my simple questions that my hours of research had created other than to tell me that they "have a 50 foot hose"), I used a number provided to us by a local and reputable HVAC company. My initial call was to Chad and he answered all of my questions before I could even ask them. He spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me and still agreed to come do a walk through with cameras and give me a hard estimate. Chad and Brad (the owners of the company) showed up for an evening appointment and spent another rather large chunk of UNPAID time walking us through the house and giving us very detailed information about our system and the process that they use to clean the ducts. They also went down the street to do an estimate for my in-laws because their house had similar issues. After checking references and a little more due diligence, we scheduled service. They were stuck in traffic and called about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time to let us know. With this, they were barely 15 minutes late. Having dealt with entirely too many contractors over the last few years, none of whom were on time or ever notified me if they decided not to show, I was impressed. We have two units and lots of vents so our cleaning took all day (about 9-4). They never stopped working; took time while they were working to satisfy our curiosity about the process; cleaned up any loose items and trashed all of the TRASH that our builder had left inside our ducts (3 x 3 pieces of trim and hardwood in addition to other debris). They cleaned all registers and place them back appropriately. They would have vacuumed all of the floors but I was going to be doing it anyway and told them not to bother. My initial shock over the price was lessened when I actually FELT my air feel cleaned and realized that this process isn't something that you do very often. My only issue is that I didn't do it sooner. They left us with tips and recommendations about our system and spent most of the next day with my in-laws. I can't say enough good things about these guys. That's a bug deal coming from me!

Description of Work: They did a good job for what they did, but they only did the traffic patterns. Did not move anything. Perhaps that is standard these days, I don't know, but I would hope for a more thorough job from a professional.
