Kelvin performed a good assesment of the roof, then provided an estimate in a timely manner. Once I contacted him to complete the job he started the work the following week and completed the work in 2.5 days. Work was done professionally. Clean up was great.

.The crew showed up and worked all day in very hot conditions. Did a superb job in re-roofing my home and did the extra touch with drip edges, painting exhaust vents same shade as roof, and even painted my chimney cap which was showing rust. They cleaned up afterwords and were very professional is all they did. A family run business that I highly recommend. His price was the best in the four estimates I got and with as good as or better materials. A 10 year warranty on his work was a plus also with the lifetime shingles.

Mr. Howard was very prompt, and that was appreciated since it was an active leak in our ceiling coming from a pipe boot on the roof. However, when another roofer later evaluated his work (he showed us pictures), he told us Mr. Howard had face-nailed through the shingles, which would eventually leak again. So we had to have his work completely redone. I guess there is some value in that he showed up promptly and gave us a stop-gap measure, and his price wasn't too high, but it kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you have to get another contractor to come re-do the whole thing. Plus, Mr. Howard recommended that we get our whole roof replaced within the next year. The other contractor who came out told us that we had another 10 years on our roof, and it just needed some patches. Also, Mr. Howard went all over our roof and hit down some popped nails, but the next contractor said that won't actually fix the problem (the nails will just come back up), so we had to actually have those shingles replaced. We had a mixed overall experience.

Mr. Howard was very honest in his appraisal of the situation. His price was fantastic. We will use him again. He was professional and polite.

Kelvin was working with Stteve Farris of Thorobilt Construction, whom I would also highly recommend. I emailed them early on a Saturday morning, and they called me back within a half-hour; they came to give me an estimate within 3 hours of calling. I accepted their offer, and they had the job finished late that afternoon. They were respectful of my property, time, and money. We are planning to move, and I will call them for all my exterior work.

Kelvin has done two jobs for us. He is prompt, efficient, cleans up after himself, and is fairly priced. I'd use him again.

After many days of rain I noticed a damp spot in the ceiling in my home office. I immediately contacted three roofing companies from Angie's List. One of the companies never returned my call; one told me they couldn't get anyone out to look at the leak until the following week. When I called Kelvin Howard's number, his wife said he was on a job but would call me back before the end of the day - which he did. Mr. Howard told me he gives priority to interior leak repairs because of the potential for damage if not taken care of promptly. Mr. Howard arrived at my house early the next morning as promised. He inspected the leak site inside and immediately went up on my roof to examine the shingles, etc. He took a number of pictures with his cellphone, which were very useful in showing me the potential problem. He discussed the possible sources for the leak and the possible repairs needed. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain the situation to me (a 60+ female homeowner with no DIY skills!). As more rain was forecast, he told me that he would make every effort to get the repair completed that same day! He gave me an estimate of $600, and told me that would be the maximum amount. Sure enough, he was back at my house a couple of hours later with all the materials needed to make the repairs. Mr. Howard told me that although there was no materials warranty on a repair like mine, he provides a one-year guarantee on his work. If the leak was not fixed, he assured me he would come back to address the matter at no additional labor charge. He completed the job in less than four hours and left absolutely no debris behind (not even one nail!). The repair is seamless and the new shingles match the rest of the roof perfectly. His bill was less than $500, below the original estimate. I will definitely call him first should I have any future roofing needs. He is a small owner-operated business with lower overhead costs, but he has lots of experience and knows what he is doing!

Came by the same day and repaired several roof shingles damaged by wind. Also measured the roof and gave esimate on roof replacement. Plan to use them to do the reroofing job sometime this year.

Kelvin is an extremely nice man and is very thorough and competent with his work. We had a roof leak. Kelvin came out, spent quite a bit of time identifying the source of the leak, and then fixed multiple places that were contributing to the problem. Great work at a fiar price.

Kelvin did subcontracting work for a contractor who was working on my home. He was extremely profesiional, polite, and thorough. He explained what needed to be accomplished, gave me options for completion, and completed the job quickly. I would definitely use him again!

I came home from vacation and discovered there had been a leak in the master bath. Checked Angie's List and selected Mr. Howard for an estimate and/or repair. He came promptly, diagnosed the problem and, since it was an easy repair and he had the time, he went on and fixed it. While here, he checked other places on the roof that are prone to leaks after a period of years and fixed them also. I asked him to estimate whether or not my 12 year old roof needed replacement and he said that any roof has a limited life span, but mine was not currently in any trouble and replacement could wait a while. I appreciate his honesty and work ethic and will not hesitate to call him for any roof work in the future.

Kelvin came exactly when he said he wood and found the source of the leak, the flashing around a vent pipe. He fixed the leak and checked the other vents, also sealing a leak he found on them. He looked over the rest of the roof as well. He charged me $50 which was a very fair price considering I live a way out of town and he had a 50 mile round trip. Only a small job but the guy still came out and did it, he's very fair and honest. I'll definitely use him if i need any roof or guttering work done.

They were very efficient. He was very personable and professional. His pricing was competitive. The end result was good and haven't had any issues since.
