Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Lexington

It was a pretty sloppy job and they failed to improve on a poorly done job. I recently called them and pointed out some things and they said they would send someone out to remedy it, but they never have come. I thought they were a little on the expensive side but I don't know because we did not get lots of estimates. The overall quality was poor. They were relatively prompt in coming out to look at the problems I called them about, but this was several weeks ago and nobody has come at this point.

The company front office is a bit dis-organized(scheduling,communicating with field personnel and billing).The field technician did a very good job.

Excellent service from day one! When John made the initial visit to prepare an estimate we knew we were working with the right business. Everything went exactly as they said it would. Junior, the site manager, was great to work with. Total confidence in these folks!

I've filled out their online contact form and called and left a message with no response. Very frustrating.

They came out and didn't get it quite right the first but came back out and did a wonderful job.

I got three quotes. I was surprised how expensive roof replacement was for our house but Bone Dry's quote was competitive with others I received. Large roof on ranch house, low pitch in all areas, new shingles are Owens Corning dimensional. Gutter replacement was subcontracted and was completed a week or so after the roof replacment. Roof replacement was completed in one day. I have worked with Bone Dry before and found them to be extremely professional and the best option for roofing needs in Lexington. The roof looks great and I have confidence that Bone Dry will stand behind their workmanship and warranty. Gutter installation was great too - no problems with that. Overall I'm very pleased with the work. The only complaint is that we had lots of debris and about 30 roofing nails in the blower for our microwave exhaust fan after the roof replacement. The debris completely shut down the blower and I had to uninstall my built-in over-range microwave to clean it out. You might want to specifically request that your overhead exhaust vent be completely sealed before tear-off. A minor issue in an otherwise great job. Would definitely use Bone Dry again.

After many opportunities given they never showed up when they were supposed to and never gave me a phone call to let me know they weren't coming. The one time they did show up was unexpectedly 3 days later.

I got them from Angie's List. They did a great job. They're fabulous. They're incredible. They did everything. They matched it perfectly. It was a beautiful job. They're very professional. The bid was very reasonable. I would recommend them highly. The work was impeccable. They were clean. They didn't make a mess in the yard. They cleaned everything up and came back. They were fast. They were excellent.

Came 45 minutes late. Did not leave a written estimate. Would only provide a verbal estimate.

it took multiple attempts to get a call from the company to schedule an appointment, including a customer service request through Angies List. Then the service rep showed up on the wrong day, and had to schedule to come back to meet with me on a day when I could be there. However, once we did meet, he did a thorough job.

Wish I could say for sure how things went. This was a home I was selling from out of state. Bone Dry did schedule with my realtor and performed the service the same day as the home inspector was there. The inspector did not note any roof problems in his report.

The top of my brick chimney was deteriorating and I had several contractors bid on the project. I was most impressed with Joe from Bone Dry Masonry. He was very professional and knowledgeable on chimney problems and repairs. They were also the only ones building an unequally engineered concrete top crown. I later saw this new concept on internet searches for proper crown construction. Joe's estimate was a very detailed itemized list of the materials and work to be preformed. He had also come back out to the house several times to answer additional questions and he ultimately found the best matching brick for the 30 yr old chimney. All of this was prior to me accepting their very competitive bid. I was very impressed with him and the crown design and that's why they got the job. On the start date, Joe instructed the supervisor and 3 man crew on the work details and stopped back in several times over the course of 2 work days. They protected the shingles, copper cricket, deck and other surrounding areas from potential construction damage. The newly poured concrete crown was tarp wrapped for protection over the weekend rains and they finished up with an acid cleaning the following Monday morning. They will be coming back in 30 days to apply a water seal to the entire chimney. I was very pleased with the final results. The new brick and mortar matched quite well and all debris and surrounding areas cleaned up. I would highly recommend them.

I had high hopes as they were, of the 3 roofing contractors contacted, that were even willing to look at my roof. Steep pitch, high off the ground, and metal. Two contractors wouldn't even get their ladders off the truck. Bone dry showed up 5 minutes early and with 2 guys for safety purposes, both were extremely professional in the inspection/estimate process, provided cards and info and were very quick to business. Before leaving they even double checked all my contact info to ensure that I received a timely estimate. One week later I called the office for an update and the office associate was very nice, helpful and polite. She was genuinely surprised that I hadn't been contacted after a week and that she would get to the bottom of it quickly and back in touch with me in 1-2 business days. That was 3 weeks ago and have no expectations that this will change. Very disappointed by this turn of events as how good of a job that Joe Hodges did in the estimate of explaining everything that he was seeing and what he thought would be a couple of different options.

Great. So easy to work with and price very fairly. They listen and do exactly what is asked of them. I have never had a tradesperson of their quality and high standards. Jade and Jason are the best ever! They are replacing eighteen (18) windows in a 1924 house next.

Bone Dry, especially Joe Hodges and the masonry division, was a breeze to work with. They were prompt, professional, personable, and all anyone could ask for in a contractor. I never felt talked down to, and I never felt pressured. I felt as though all options were explained to us, along with the pros and cons of the options. The work itself took about two and a half days for complete teardown, rebuild and cleanup. The chimney, cricket, and new top look great and are a close match to the old (and very dark and very hard to match) brick on the house. The repair work around the windows and near the foundation is practically seamless and if you weren't aware I doubt you'd be able to see it at all. We couldn't have asked for a better experience--from scheduling to installation and cleanup. We couldn't have asked for a better quality of work, or for more responsiveness. They were slightly higher than some other bids, but seemed to have a better gameplan for our home and the desired outcome.

They came with 2 trucks and 4 men who quickly got the job done. repaired some nailheads and flashing- and answered some of questions. Sent the roof report via email the next day. They did call before they came, but did not give me much lead time. Fortunately, I was already on the way home so it worked out.

Jason was so wonderful to work with from the beginning and all throughout the entire experience! .....Jason made it so easy for us!!......From the first time I spoke with Jason on the phone he was so very nice, so easy to talk to, very professional and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and he represented Bone Dry Roofing in such an excellent way........Then when my husband and I met with Jason at our home, he took so much time with us. He answered all of our many questions and concerns thoroughly. He made us feel at ease with the entire process. He never pressured us to purchase anything we did not want... but he did thoroughly explain all of our roofing options. When we began talking with Contractors we had concerns about the safety of the workers and the safety of our home as taking off a roof and replacing it puts a big construction site on your property. But we always felt at ease with Jason. The crew of workers do follow OSHA requirements for safety and they did protect our property with tarps and plywood. The Job Superintendent, Junior Castro, and his Crew were very professional and do QUALITY work and they cleaned up everything after....all of the nails and they cleaned up everything after they were finished. Our property was left looking wonderful and there were no damages......... AND WE LOVE OUR NEW ROOF!! ....Jason took so much pride in wanting us to be happy with the roof after it was finished. He tells you that he wants you to be totally satisfied with the quality of the work AND WE WERE VERY SATISFIED!! Jason supervised the work site on the day the roof was put on and he kept in contact with us. He was always just so easy to work with. We have been talking to people we know about Bone Dry Roofing and about Jason Pulliam. My husband and I would definitely use Bone Dry again and we would want to work with JASON PULLIAM.....I will have to honestly say that the main reason we decided on Bone Dry Roofing was because of JASON PULLIAM....He is excellent in his position, wonderful and so easy to talk to, really cares about the homeowners concerns, and he does explain everything to you....and his is so HONEST!! Obviously, we're not happy with the lack of responsiveness from the company. It appeared that the company was going to do good work, but the employees never even got a chance to start!

Jade came to do the estimate in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and was able to advise on best practices for ridge venting, gable venting and other components of our roof, in addition to what needed repair. Actual cost was spot on the estimate. Work was slightly delayed due to the weather affecting the area, and therefore their schedule. We had trouble coordinating our schedule with theirs, so they actually did the work without us being present (with our approval). They provided phone text messages and pictures during the actual work to bridge the gap since we were not on site. Their work was great -- they did more than we asked for, correcting mistakes of the original builder, as a matter of course. Repairs, given the amount of wind and rain we've had recently, have been put to the test, and are performing as expected. We will definitely use them again.

Bone Dry has completed three or four jobs for us in the last two years. They are thoroughly professional throughout the job--from the scheduling representative on the phone, to Jason (the point person and supervisor), to the crew.

This company is amazing! Joe is beyond caring about his customers and took an awful, unexpected event and turned it into something positive. His crew was also very nice and helpful. The work was quality, and the people outstanding. Joe also recommended someone to do the inside work (wall damage). I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have found a roofing company for life. The company also offered coupons which helped with an unexpected cost.

They were very responsive after we contacted them and came to our house quickly to give us a reasonable estimate. The work was done as intended and they kept us updated on the work and progress and answered any questions we had. We were satisfied with the quality of the work.

We like this company. We found them to be honest and up front about the work needed. We felt very comfortable with the company.
