Description of Work: Cut down large water maple tree, shredded all limbs, hauled off all large parts of trunk. ground all of the stump, hauled the debris from the stump, |added top soil to the hole and planted a red maple tree in it's place.

Description of Work: contractor removed tree and stump of a medium to large sweet gum tree. I called,they had a break in their schedule and they got on to my removal. They had top-notch equipment and were finished with everything (and cleaned up)in one afternoon!

Description of Work: Cut brush and tree limbs approximately 6-8ft up that were over hanging our back yard fence. Overall, Bill the co-owner of B & R was very nice and easy to work with. The reason I rated them overall a C is due mainly to the costs. I initially contacted B & R through the Angie's list messaging service. After 2 days of not receiving a response, I called directly and left a message. Bill returned my call within 48 hours. I explained that I was interested in the $299.00 special that was being advertised on Angie's list. He inquired as to want I was wanting done and we agreed upon a date and time to meet for an estimate. I never did receive an answer as to what the $299.00 special entailed. Bill came to my house on the agreed upon date, a little late, but no big deal. He assessed my needs and gave my 2 different quotes. One for 475.00, which included the basics of what I needed done and one for $575.00, which included more extensive work. I chose the $475.00 estimate, which came out to $375.00 with $100.00 Angie's discount. Work was satisfactorily performed on the scheduled day agreed upon and the crew did a good job cleaning up after. My bone of contention was the price. Obviously, I didn't have to proceed with them, but, I was in a hurry and felt based on the reviews that the job would be done to my satisfaction, which it was. I never did find out what the $299.00 special included and I paid $375.00 for work that only took them an hour to complete.

Description of Work: Excellent team of professionals. Immediate response to request from Angie's list. Beth showed up the same day and immediately provided a quote that was significantly lower than competitor. She clearly understands the business. The team showed up on labor day earlier than committed and efficiently removed one tree and trimmed two others. Crew was professional and polite and cleaned up everything before they left. Also continued to keep us informed of what they were doing and confirm our agreement. Highly recommended!

I've come to always rely on them not only on service but on advice when it comes to decisions regarding planting or tree removal. They're not the cheapest landscaping service, but the peace of mind is worth the extra price.

Description of Work: B&R removed three trees brought down by heavy ice and wind and replaced them with healthy young trees. We were so pleased with their work we had them come back to edge and mulch our yard and beds. Overall they exceeded our expectations in all aspects of the job.They are prompt, professional and fairly priced. Beth, one of the partners, supervised the entire job and everyone worked hard. We will certainly use them again.
