Description of Work: We discovered that our refrigerator was not working on the evening of November 5th. The next morning we called Appliance Service and they said they would have a repairman out between 12 and 4 that afternoon. The repairman came about noon and quickly found the problem but did not have the needed part with him. He went to get the part and returned and installed it. The repair was completed by 2:30pm. I would highly recommend Appliance Service of Lexington.

+ -1 moreThis was a great experience. Called before he came, just like he said he would. He was within the three hour window he gave. He was in and quickly figured out the problem, fixed it, and left. He had the part on his truck.
Description of Work: The refrigerator was not defrosting on its own, so I called, they came the next day and replaced the defrost thermometer.

Description of Work: Our refrigerator lost all cooling. Luckily we had an old one in the garage to hold our food until we were able to get it fixed. I called Appliance Service of Lexington and they had Jason out there within an hour. They were professional, did the job quickly and had the frig up and running in no time. I would definitely go back to them with any appliance repair needs I have.

+ -1 moreOur GE Refrigerator was not cooling well. We anticipated calling for service in a week or so. Then, on Friday night, July 8, it was no longer cooling or freezing well. I found Kevin Glass's company on Angie's list. What hooked me was that he works Saturdays. I called Friday night, left a message. He called my first thing saturday morning, and was at our house by about 10:00 AM. Turns out our defrost heater went bad. Kevin defrosted the freezer with his steamer, then assured us he would return Monday or Tuesday with the correct part. He did not charge us for the saturday visit. Kevin came back the afternoon of July 11, replaced the parts, cleaned up. Job well done! I appreciate that Kevin did not charge us until the work was done right and did not charge a premium for the saturday visit. I recommend Appliances Service of Lexington to all.
Description of Work: Replaced defrost heater in our 8 year old GE Profile 22 cubic foot refrigerator.

+ -1 moreSaw in the Yellow Pages, they have a $20 service call and are part of the BBB (in good standing). Called and scheduled a service call. Kevin arrived within the time-frame and diagnosed the problem. Needed to order a part, and said it would be a couple days, and gave me the estimated total. Offered to pay him, but he said to pay when the work was completed. He called the next morning, the part was in. Came out the same day to install. Cleaned up after work - everything in working order.
Description of Work: Our Whirlpool Calypso washing machine was showing an error code (Ld) and wouldn't work.
