Lead time from time of initial call to visit was 8 business days. She communicates well and as necessary, providing detailed information about the process and what to expect. This is the only thing she does and she does it well. She took her time and gave updates as she went. Once complete she went over the final result and talked about ongoing care.

We contacted Marlene for a bathtub refinish. We had a baby-blue tub from the 1980's that was in desperate need of a new color. We went with American Standard White. Marlene asked us ahead of time exactly what we needed and came prepared as scheduled. She was prompt, thorough and tidy. This is a messy job and she took care of everything in tight quarters. We had a few questions afterward and she answered everything knowledgeably. The finish is great and we are very happy with the results. She "textured" the bottom of the tub so that it would not be slippery. If we do another refinish, we will call her. We will also recommend her to anyone interested in having this done.

Marlene was fantastic. Originally we only asked to refinish the tub but it turned out so well we asked to come back and do the tile. She was flexible with appointment times and completed the work on the dates that we arranged. Marlene was very respectful of our home, children and dog. I would definitely recommend her for future jobs.

Marlene couldn't have been more helpful or professional! She was able to work me into her schedule very quickly. She showed up on time and ended up repairing more than we had anticipated (at no additional $). She gave me a lot of advice on how to maintain my reglazed tub to help extend the life of it. I've used this company before in the past with great results. They were a little back logged at the time so it took about a month to get an date setup. I talked with Marlene the night before to go over options. I had some texturing on the bottom so that a floor mat would not be required and it would be safer for taking a shower. That option was about $50. The tub itself was in somewhat rough shape and had some build up of caulk and mortar. Marlene did an excellent job of cleaning and prepping before the process and after it was done it looked excellent. It truely looks new and in my opinion it looks much better than a fiberglass replacement tub. Marlene did an excellent job of caulking the tub also. The whole process was performed professionally and great care was used to protect other fixtures and clean up afterwards. There was a little bit of lingering paint smell which is to be expected, but actually it was a lot less than it was the previous time I had it done (about 2 years ago). If you close the door and run the vent or open a window it's no problem at all. I definitely recommend this company and the process they use.

Arnie was great to work with. He was very informative about his craft and seemed to be passionate about his work. I called to get an estimate for the reglazing of a steel tub for a guest bath renovation. Arnie explained the process and told me where he would fit into the schedule of repairs. I scheduled him to come out for the reglaze. On the first day I had him scheduled, he reported, only to have to reschedule as my electricity was under repair, and my plumbing was not completed to a point where he could use it. Arnie was extremely patient and got in touch with me to reschedule. The second date went as planned. He even added a small texture to the bottom of the tub, per my request (as I often have older adults using the guest bath and wanted to help add a bit of comfotable friction to the bottom of the tub). Everything went as planned; Arnie was very polite and courteous. The tub turned out great! I would use his services again if I ever need to reglaze another tub.

He was on time for the appointment and did excellelnt work.The job was more complicated than expected but he did not short cut the time required to do a thorough job.I was comfortable with him working in my home and I would certainly hire him again.

He was very professional. He was able to save us money. He determined the paint and finish was still good. So he just fix the chips and were the paint and finish had chipped off. I definitely will use him again when we need it refinished. He said that I should be good for probably another 5 years.

Arnie Garbutt did a very excellent job. It was a very challenging mess he fixed. He came up from Ky to Symmes Township twice. When I called him based on Angie's List references. He planned to do the work the first time. On seeing what had to be done, he set a date and spent four hours working on the baths. There was a leak he suggesdted a plumber check, but it turned out to be from all the improper caulking. It looks very good now. Arnie is very accomodating. He is a pleasure to have working in your home. I think he is very reasonable in price. I would definitely use him again.

Arnie was great to work with. From the beginning the communication was great and I knew that was a good start. I wanted to get my parents bath tub re-glazed as a gift, so I called Arnie and he gave me a price over the phone. He also set up a date and said for any reason if something came up where my parents couldn't be home that day, to just let him know and he would reschedule. He contacted my parents a couple days prior to the scheduled date to make sure everything was still Ok and gave them a time he would arrive. He arrived on time and completed everything in one day and did an excellent job. Besides doing an excellent job my parents really enjoyed his company. He also added a slip agent in the bottom of the tub to help prevent falls which have happened in the past. I wish all endeavors went this smooth.

Arnie showed up on date and time scheduled and went right to work. Arnie was very meticulous about taping off all the fixtures in the shower. He explained the steps he was performing and did an excellent job venting the paint smell out of the house. Arnie stands by his work and gives a 5-year guaranty on his work. Our neighbor was so impressed with his work that they gave him a call to reglaze there tub. My wife and I have already scheduled him for November 10th to reglaze my shower unit in the master bath.

I needed this done quickly to get ready for an open house. Arnie replied quickly and was able to rearrange things to accommodate my needs. He explained as he went, was courteous and cleaned up everything. He had an exhaust system that kept most of the odor out of the house. Since I am selling the house he wrote the 5 year guarantee to be transferable to the new owner. I was very pleased with the result.

Mr. Garbutt covered the tile walls and floor with heavy brown paper and removed or covered the drain cover and overflow cover. He chemically stripped the tub to create a surface for the new paint to adhere. He sprayed two coats of the paint and cleaned up everything that he brought with him. One note: Mr. Garbutt came for the scheduled appointment prepared to complete the work. As he examined the tub area, he noticed that the bottom of the tile wall was incorrectly finished (using caulk rather than sanded grout). He explained what needed to be done, left tools for me to use to complete the work, and rescheduled the tub refinishing so that the new tub finish wouldn't be damaged by the work that needed to be done on the tile. He did not charge for this trip (from northern KY to north of Cincinnati) and was very gracious and helpful.

The job was done quickly with as little disturbance as possible and with beautiful results.. The tub looked brand new after.
