Daryl is that kind of person that wants to get to know you and your goals before starting to work. She wants to know what is that you want to accomplish by the time she is done that day. She is very focused and will not let you get distracted (like I do) with other things you may have in mind. I have various areas of my house that I want to figure how to re-arrange and get things moved around (not including what I need to get rid off). Daryl will help you focus in just one of those areas and she will get them in order. She also gave me ideas for other changes I can make in my other closets (which I still have to get to).. She re-arranged the clothes that were being stored in an armoire and its drawers, under the futon (futon has storage), things just being placed here and there. We moved a piece of furniture from my bedroom to that room and it works perfectly blending with the furnishings in that room. The room looked so neat after she was done! I will definitely call her again for a full day of re-organizing and purging!!

After we cleared up a miscommunication on my part, they showed up at my home and helped me to organize my home office, and garage. They asked me what I needed and then gave me some input on what I said. We discussed the present condition of my home office and garage, vs making them better working spaces. Next they moved, arranged and changed things to provide the desired effect and end results. I assisted by identifying what items were to be kept, and which items were to be discarded. They did a great job and we were very pleased with their work, and the results.

Melissa showed up a couple minutes earl and got right to work. She had suggested that I consider renting a dumpster for the project so I did. Things went very smoothly and quickly that I can't believe that I had been dreading the project for so long. We were actually finished about an hour early. My garage has lots of usable space now and I'm very happy with the good help I received from Confusion Solutions.

She meets with me almost every week for 2 hours unless I have a previously scheduled appointment. So I am unaware when this will end but the progress is great.

Daryl was excellent. She always had a great attitude, and had a lot of great ideas on how to store things efficiently as well as what kinds of things might not be worth taking valuable space if not used often. She also has great ideas for making current storage more efficient, and/or avoiding not-so-efficient storage. We had some cabinets left over from a kitchen update that we were considering installing in the garage for extra storage, and she pointed out that these specific cabinets, in that space, would not work well for our needs, and explained why - and we concurred. She also has other personnel available in case one is in a hurry or need some extra hands.

Miss Ashley arrived on time and went right to work. She immediately went to work by emptying everything out and putting me to work sorting and determining what was trash, donate or keep. She really kept me on task! After four hours, I had a beautifully organized office closet. She also advised me how to tackle my other messy closet. Since then I have organized another closet by myself. She was very very helpful. I would definitely use Ms. Ashley again and highly recommend her.

Melissa is awesome! I bought the Big Deal of 150.00 for four hours and then hired them a second time at regular price. It's so worth it. I'm not a hoarder by any means but I am definitely someone who has trouble with the basics of organization at times. Both the basement and garage are now well sorted, free of items that may have had mold, and everything that needed storing is in a container that protects it appropriately, depending on location. That said, I was never pressured to buy organizing items etc. Feeling like I know where things are, and that when I do eventually move to a new house, that it would be relatively easy is worth a lot to me. Melissa is proactive and has great ideas for organizing but is never pushy about her methodology; she just wants what will be easiest for you. I tell my friends that using an organizer like Melissa is as great a deal as if you could pay a personal trainer to work out for you and you reaped the benefits. Yes it takes two, but boy is this a great way to get stuff done and done quickly. Just awesome.

It was a great experience. Melissa is so good I had her come back several times and my husband also wants her help in sorting out the garage. I also told my sister and she wants her help also. Melissa is like a part of the family. She makes one feel very relaxed about the job at hand and assures you that this isn't the worst she has seen. So you feel comfortable in showing her all your messes. She sat down on the floor and just dug in and helped sort and organize everything. She also has the ability to help you decide you can live without things that needed to be tossed a long time ago. One of the areas we did was my gift wrapping area and I have wrapped 3 gifts since it has been organized. WOW, how easy and nice it is to wrap a gift when you know where everything is and can reach it and then put it away again!
Description of Work: Melissa came in and looked at the area to be organized and suggested several approaches to do the job. She discouraged me from buying additional "organizers" until she saw what I had and we ended up using what I had and saved me money. Then she sat down with me and went through all the "stuff" I had in the different areas of the room and we divided it into keep, garbage, sell, give away. Then we proceeded to sort through everything until it was finished.

Melissa was excellent. By the time the four hours were up, she had cleared and organized the entire room and left me with a space I could work in. She even washed down bookshelves and swept the floors. I would call her again if I became overwhelmed and needed help with organizing things.

Melissa started in my garage, taking old books and records from boxes so that I could select what I wanted to keep. We then moved up to the living room and my bookcases where we did the same. Melissa boxed everything to be removed and suggested some book pickup services, which I called. She worked constantly at this and, although several days have passed, we have more to do; that will be scheduled for the near future. This has been a very welcome experience for me. Without Melissa I probably would never get it done.

As part of a major remodel, there was a critical need to organize the normal garage items as well as the additional items that had been stuck in the garage looking for a new home. Before we could install new cabinets in the garage, all of the existing stuff in the garage needed to be consolidated and moved out of the way. Daryl (Confusion Solutions) was recommended, and she was a major force in getting the job consolidated and reorganized. Nor only did she have good ideas as to the organization in the cabinets, but she dove right in and physically helped in moving and sorting through all the items. Once the new cabinets were installed, Daryl returned and with less than 5 hours of work, everything was put away and the car could again be parked in the garage. Included in the organization was a workbench and a massive amount of tools, now neatly arranged and accessible. Daryl also made recommendations for consolidation of items in the kitchen. The combining of some perishable items and the moving of dish towels and wash cloths provided a needed drawer for food storage containers. Daryl has excellent organizational skills and is able to implement them effectively. She listens to feedback and is flexible, never insisting on doing things in any particular way. I will definitely use Confusion Solutions in the future.

Overall, the de-clutter process can be overwhelming and tiring, but Daryl keeps a positive attitude and encouraging throughout the effort to clean-up and clear-out areas of "stored" mess that accumulated over time. Our garage had become the storage area after a remodel project and it was great to be able to park the car in the garage again!

We have a double garage that already was filled with stuff from my husband and when I moved in 3 years back, I just piled everything I brought and didn't use in the house onto his things in the garage. It was so bad that you could not even walk in the garage anymore. A few weeks back, we decided to take everything out of the garage and decide what to keep and whet to put back in. We accomplish the taking out of the garage and we threw out a lot but then we had a complete freeze and we just could not get anything back into the garage. That is when I hired Daryl at Confusion Solution. She was right on time and explained in detail what she wanted to do. She asked me first what we wanted to use the garage for and what type of things we needed to store. After looking at everything, she came up with an overall plan how to divide up and organize the garage and also how to store items appropriately so that we would have easy access to everything. I was very impressed with the creative ideas she came up with and her hands on approach in moving and cleaning everything that needed to be stored. After a few hours we had organized the garage in different sections, with everything in view and easily accessible and she also gave me recommendations for a few other things to store, e.g. recycling bins, since I want to start recycling and holders for our bikes so we can hand them off the ground and still have easy access to them. With her dynamic and hands on attitude the whole task, which seemed to be insurmountable, suddenly became an easy task. She then explained to me what she would do and how she would proceed. It was very easy and the way she approached the whole task made it even fun. Hiring Daryl from Confusion Solution was the best thing my husband and I have done for ourselves in a long time! When she came to our house to assess the job I thought for sure she would want to do an about face. Our garage was a complete disaster. It was an accumulation of five years of putting and dropping things off that we had no time to deal with. It was pretty embarrassing considering we live in a Condo with a shared common area garage, everyone could see our mess.We couldn't even park our car in the garage. The first thing she said to us when we showed her the garage was "oh this isn't that bad, this is an easy fix. She then asked us a series of questions as to how we would like to organize the garage. And again she stated that what we wanted to accomplish would be easy because we had pretty much thought out what we wanted it to look like when finished. She asked if we wanted to get started right away we decided we would! l So she staged four areas for us donate/ keep/ garage sale/ and trash. As we went through stuff ( she was helping) she continually asked us what pile she could put stuff in. which was really nice because I didn't have to worry about whether or not she was throwing something away that I might want or need. The job went really well and towards the end of the day I discovered I didn't need to purchase more storage containers I could use what I already had and the most exciting part is we discovered that we had 4 large drawers that could be used as a base for my work table. ( we had forgotten we even had them). We filled four trash cans, and filled my Jeep up with stuff to donate and even started an area for disposing old paint cans etc. ( which our other two neighbors have now donated to as well). By the end of the day ( it took 3 of us and approx 7 hours) My garage was transformed from a hoarders type garage to a very nice and neatly organized work space! I just love it. As soon as time and money allows we will be inviting Confusion Solution back to give us a quote to build and organize our master bedroom closet space.I cant wait!
