I went to Maddox's to purchase a Forsythe bush. Most of the other green houses were operating that early in the Spring. The gentlemen from Maddox showed my several shrubs of varying sizes. We picked out a good size bush and he dug it up. He was nice enough to place the root ball in a plastic bag to protect the carpet in my car. I planted the shrub as recommended and it is growing very nicely.

..No, I have not used the companies mentioned, though, I had Maddox Garden Center give me a quote but i didn't use them. the quote they provided was expensive.Their timeliness was good but the price was too high so i didnt go with them.I had asked them for a quote to put in my garden for me which was purely landscaping work.The quote provided was for 5,000 $ which was high

The installation crew was fine. But the rose bush trees had yellow leaves and many of the leaves were eaten by something. When I hadn't received a bill in about a month's time I called the designer who helped me and left him a message. At the same time I asked him to address the issue with the rose bushes. I received a bill in about a weeks time but I haven't heard back from anyone to address the diseased rose bushes.

They've done several things for me over the years. They were just fine and they were reasonable. The man who came out and did the work was very helpful.

I had driven by this nursery numerous times and always wanted to stop. I got a coupon in the mail for a 20.00 gift card. I stopped and checked out the plant and purchased some hostas and Crepe Myrtle. All employees I dealt with were friendly and professional. I will definitely purchase from here again.

The folks were very attentive and helpful during my visit. I asked several questions and they were always quick with an intelligent answer and great advice. I like to use Maddox when I just can't find what I'm looking for at the big box stores. Maddox is quite a bit pricier (~40%) on many items however, so if I can find the same at a big box store, I usually get it there. If you use one of there coupons (Buy 3, Get 1 Free), it makes the prices much more reasonable. And again, there service is great. If you have questions, they have the answers.

It was disastrous. Too many things to mention but here are a few: There were several tree stumps in the yard. They literally covered up the entire tree stump with topsoil, and threw excess grass they dug up when transplanting, and used it as sod on top of the tree stumps until it formed a huge mound. The fertilizer bag must of had a hole in it because when they were carrying between the bare patches, fertilizer leaked out and killed parts of my grass. When repairing the bare patches, they didn't smooth out the topsoil and left clumps of dirt. They used way too much straw in some areas and not enough in others. I was disappointed that the lead person on this job didn't check on the work nor did I receive a call to see if I was pleased with the work. I called Maddox and they offered to come back and correct the problems. One guy did come out in a timely fashion and fixed the tree stumps (Indian mounds). I called the lead person, to express my dissatifaction and he offered to have the crew come back. Since that was their only crew, I didn't want to have the same people making the same mistakes. He also suggested that if I could be home when they arrived to show them what I wanted would be helpful. I shouldn't have to hand hold and spoon feed the workers! The lead suggested I speak to the manager. After speaking with him, he took $100 off the bill. The best thing was the new maple tree, even though I had to have them come back and edge around that. The seed they planted didn't germinate. I'm assuming it was too much fertilizer. Maddox tried to tell me it was the drought. My yard was green throughout and my water bill will prove it. One of the transplants was planted too close to the house and another one was so far into the ground, it was soaked. I took pics of all the faulty items because noone would believe I had Indian mounds in my yard....Seriously, the entire job was a bust! A sloppy job that definitely lacked attention to detail!

They were very accommodating. They put it right where we wanted it. They were real nice. The price was good. There were tracks on the lawn like something was on their tires that killed some of the grass. They said they don't like to get in the grass but it came back. They are family owned. Mr. Maddox, himself, drove the truck and helped us decide where to put it. They were real nice and we would recommend them. It was good quality topsoil and it was light and easy to move. We did have a few mushrooms pop up but that wasn't a problem. They came within a couple of days of when I called. They called to see if they could come early because they had a truck available so we were happy with that. We didn't compare their prices. We would probably use them again.

They were extremely informative, affordable, prompt, organized, kept the worksite clean, etc. They did extra than what they were hired to do. Maddox is probably the only place I will go now or in the future for any product or service I need that they have to offer.

Things went very well. I called and ordered then had them deliver while I was at work.

It went well. They did a great job. This is the third year we have used them. Larry is a very comfortable person to talk to and is very knowledgeable.

Since this was in the Fall, I was leery about the quality of the plants that would show up, but every plant was in prime condition. Having planted many trees, shrubs, and flowers over the years, I was quite pleased with the plant material they brought and in the way things were planted and watered. The fact that they were willing to make changes, certainly earned them points. I'm very, very happy with the result.
