The salesman was on time for the appointment. The information provided was very thorough. Cost was competitive. The product was good and the installation went well. The installers were very willing to answer questions and give good explanations. There was some follow up needed to get everything completely right and they took care of it, no problems at all.

full disclosure--part of the discounted rate (our final bill was still $4700) was to leave sign in yard for 90 days (which we did--i am removing the sign today) and write this review. the salesperson said certain things would be done that were not in contract and then the workers came and stated that the salesperson just tells people things and then they have to fix it (explanation below). that didn't leave us with a lot of confidence but the contract was signed at that point. that was our fault as we discussed everything to be done, the salesman agreed and said he would instruct the workers but he did no write it all out on the paperwork. All of the fine print on the back of the contract, we didn't read until later. the work wound up looking very good and seeming functioning good but the taste left in our mouths for all we had to go through to get to that point was very disappointing to say the least. Who wants to spend almost $5000 and be yelled at and talked down to? the workers asked me to walk around before they left and when I mentioned a few obvious places that looked unfinished or not seamless, one worker began to argue with me and tell me "just sign the paper, we did what was on the paper". However, when I explained the salesman said certain things would be done, that's when he said that the salesman says anything. the employee who yelled at me even threw his things down and walked to the truck. It was like he was insulted that we had the audacity to point things out or that we critiqued his work. But the things pointed out were extremely obvious (we have pictures) and one place was above the front door so anyone with eyes would have seen it. I was concerned that he believed we wouldn't have pointed it out. This guy who yelled and kept trying to get me to sign the completion document wasn't the lead on the crew (the lead introduced himself as such on day one) nor was the one i was discussing the issue with but he interjected into the conversation and continued to try to get me to sign the paper--even though the paper said "sign once you are satisfied with the work." They fixed the few issues when i stated i was going to call because we were promised a seamless look and after how i was spoken to, i wanted someone to know. i honestly don't think (but i could be wrong) the owner addressed the way i was spoken to or the way they threw the salesperson under the bus but I will say the gutters look very good and seem to function well and we have a substantial warranty if ever needed for any issues that may arise. The unprofessionalism and way we were treated outweighs the look, price and function of the gutters for me. The customer service dropped the ball from the 1st contact. when i initially called, i mentioned my husband would not be here for the appointment. the scheduler said fine and then once the initial salesman came he stated he couldn't do the appointment because my husband wasn't here. i gave them a second chance and we rescheduled for both of us to sit down with a salesperson when my gut said "these people are not on the same page here--where one doesn't know what the others are doing". I should have listened to my gut but this company had a lot of good reviews and we wanted our gutters done right and were willing to pay for quality work. Bottom line, I had a few negative things to say regarding the customer service(or lack there of ) but the gutters look good and seem to function well. With that, i have to give Gutter magicians a C minus rating.

The job looks good. The crew was respectful, efficient, and cleaned up everything before they left.

In April of 2002 I had “Leafilter” installed by Mastershield installed my gutters. Guaranteed for life or your money back. That did not work out because in August of 2004 after a complaint they came and inspected my gutters when I was on vacation and left me a note that everything seemed okay. I called them about their lifetime warranty or your money back and was told that that was only covered by the company that installed and that actually I had no warranty at all because that company was no longer in business. Makes you want to think, “what is a lifetime warranty”. I had no warranty at all and now for the rest of the story. I have to admit that their product did keep debris out of the gutters however it plugged up so badly on the top of the gutters that I had to get my son to go up on the roof with the brome and a small brush and clean the tops of the “Leafilter” gutter guards. And because they totally plugged up on the tops the water just ran off the roof like I had no gutters at all. Think about this before you buy any gutter system. Keeping debris out of the gutters is not enough. It must keep debris out and the water going down the downspouts - not over the edge. We fought this for years because I have a good number of trees shedding leaves and other small debris onto my roof. If you don’t have any trees or debris going onto your roof, I doubt you need any kind of gutter guard at all. I bought “Leafilter” because of the warranty which in the and was no warranty at all. In April of 2020 I had all new gutters installed by “The Gutter Magician”. They tore down all my old gutters including the “Leafilter” covers that never worked properly. Their crew installed everything in one day and the cleanup was very good. I did have one small problem after an extremely hard rain and their man came out and realigned one gutter and that fixed the problem. Their response to this problem was immediate and efficient. There was no argument about a warranty or anything else - they simply fixed it like they said they would do. Now just think this out - the “Leafilter” system works great if you don’t have leaves and “The Gutter Magician” system works great with tons of leaves and other debris. Conclusion -- the Think the whole process through thoroughly.

The crew was on time and completed the entire house is less than half a day. The result looks great, and the new gutters handled the first rain with ease.

The quote was quick and easy. Scheduling happened in the time quoted. Workers arrived on time and completed the job in one day. The gutters look as expected on all areas but the flat portion of our roof. I was unaware that have one piece gutters installed on the flat portion of our roof would expose our roofing strips as we previously had open gutters on this portion of the roof. Had I understood this, I would have opted for open gutters on this portion of the house. However, the gutters work well and we have had no issues with their functionality. All old materials were removed.

Their Engineering of the product system is better than the competition. The wide range of colors available greatly helped our decision. The product finish is good for 20 years and will not need painting. Downspout and elbow material was available in the exact same color. The method of securing the gutters to the existing substrate far exceeds industry standard used on new homes. The company is owned and operated by local people. Make sure you discuss before starting, such things as the material lay down area to be used, importance of picking up all scraps of metal and fasteners. Go outside during the first storm after installation to report any valley conditions where water may be overshooting the corners. Pricing may seem high but you will find this investment in your home to be worth it.

I absolutely LOVE my gutters! The people I spoke to in the office were kind, polite and helped me in a timely manner. The sales rep that came to my house answered all of my questions, was professional and gave me a great price for the type of gutter i was wanting. I appreciate this company and their professionalism. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know moving forward.

We are very happy with our gutters and new soffits. The installers were on-time, professional, and fielded all of our questions. The price was competitive and there are flexible payment programs offered to The Gutter Magician's customers.

The workers were prompt and cleaned.up everything.The gutters are high quality and I no longer have a waterfall every time it rains. The workers were polite and answered all my questions. The house looks.great. Guttter Magician will.come if ever there are problems. I highly recommend them.

Didn't end up getting the gutters - our house is old and the design would not work with our house without having to replace roofing.

I scheduled an estimate. They called and confirmed it. Then showed up an hour late. First they did not want to talk to me unless my wife was also present, even though she did not want to be. Ultimately they went ahead. They spent 45 minutes talking to me about my gutters and what I needed. Then they got out their samples and started into a repeat of what they had already said. I told them that I was not willing to go beyond an hour and they could email me their estimate. They packed up and left and refused to send me an estimate because "if you won't let me run through my sales procedure this is a waste of time". So I wasted my time calling them, waiting for them, and listening to them. I don't recommend this company

We received a call from the company wanting to give us a free quote no obligation to buy at the time of the quote. We were thinking of getting gutter guards in the fall to keep my husband off the roof so we thought ok we will see what they offer. Our gutters were not in need of replacing but if we were going to invest in the leave guards we might do the gutters also. They sent a representative out to our home in the beginning of December at 6:00pm. I questioned the woman making the appointment about was it going to be too dark for them to be able to check out the gutters. She said “no they do everything from the ground.” Ok. So the rep came and did the walk around of our home, did the gutter quality speech and price reveal. We thought it was pricey but negotiated and wrote up a contract. In his drawing of our gutters he left out a dot and line showing the gutter in the front left section of our house that sets back. We said that there was a gutter there. The important part we were told was the written part of the contract. We were suppose to get a complete gutter system but our back porch gutter we didn’t want it replaced. It was wrote up that way. They came did the gutters on January 9th and did not do the front left part of our house. They said it wasn’t in the contract. We called the rep and he apologized and said he was going to talk to the “911” guy who “will make sure if there are any issues he will do whatever it takes to make you happy”. “911” guy( also known as the owner) said it wasn’t in our contract. This did not make us happy. So my husband told the rep to find out how much it would cost because it’s in the front of our home and no one would order gutters and not do one on the front of there house. He apologized and said he would split the cost with us because he felt bad about the situation. This happened January 9, 2020 and I still have not received any quote on this section of gutter. January 20th-February 25th he has been trying to figure out a price for a 5 foot section of gutter. Haven’t heard from him since. Today is April 27th and I tried to call and they don’t have a voicemail box set up. We are willing to pay for it and have been very patient but I would not recommend this company because they got their money and could care less about the customer. The men that came to install the gutters were on time and nice. I attached a photo of the written part of the contract also the text from the rep apologizing for the situation.

This is an adjustment to my “F” review I posted on 4/26/2020. I received a call from the rep at the end of June and he apologized many many times for his not getting back with me. He came out to the house and wrote up an order for the section of gutter and downspout to be installed no charge to us. They came out and installed about 2 weeks later. I am happy this was resolved. I was asked if I would change my score when the work was finished. I agreed. The rep made good on his end. The installers did a good job. As a consumer I feel like the owner passed blame on us for this situation and this is why I would not use his company in the future.

On 3/26 a 2-man team showed up on time and went right to work to tear down my gutters/downspouts and install GM drip edge gutters on entire home. The installation team of Dave and Jessie worked very hard and completed the job in about 4+ hours. They cleaned up all of the scraps and hauled away all of the old gutters. I did my research and believe the design of the Gutter Magician product is excellent and will last many, many years with "no hassle". You can get lower cost estimates but you will get what you paid for if you go with GM of Northern Kentucky. I highly recommend these guys.

The crew were very professional and timely. They cleaned everything up in the yard and were conscious about certain plants to not trample. It was a relatively quick process.

Excellent installation in all aspects. Notification of date and time of installation. They were on time, Installers were very polite and told me when they were going for lunch and were punctual in return. Clean up was perfect. Whole job took approximately 5 hours, Highly recommend their product and installation.

I got an unsolicited call from this business offering a free estimate. When I told the woman politely that I wasn’t interested, she hung up on me. So rude. She’s the one who called me. At least now I know not to hire them to clean my gutters.

It went OK. The day they installed the gutters there was a bout one inch of snow on the ground. Due to the snow the clean up was not so good. After the snow melted I found several screws and small scrap pieces of metal around the house. The installers smoked and that's OK, but I also found cigarette but on the ground around the house, that's not OK.

The sales rep was friendly and informative. The installers were polite and professional.

The prodcut and work was explained in detail and the work was done quickly and flawlessly.

The work completed has already generated compliments from my neighbors. Although I wish they left a yard banner for advertisement. At the end of the day I'm pleased with the result, and surprised at how quick the project was completed! Thank you Gutter Magician!! I'm glad I made the decision to go with your company and proceed with full repair. Hopefully "I" never have to call you again, yet maybe the next homeowners, if the home is still standing. 😉

Phenomenal! Not only was their customer service amazing, kind, and polite over the phone, but their salesman/quoter/tech was incredibly informative, helpful and, most importantly, fair. Their warranty cannot be beat and the quality of their parts used for installation outdoes competitors. Not only do they talk the talk, but they show for it with a comparison album, showing before-and-after photos of their competitors' and their gutter jobs. The financing plan was incredibly helpful and at a great cost for increasing our house's value AND aesthetics! I seriously couldn't be happier than I am in doing business with them. I highly, highly recommend them; you get what you pay for!
