Description of Work: This firm installed their product on my home on March 9th. I waited for a couple of rain showers before sending you my evaluation. The employees arrived exactly at the scheduled appointment time. The crew leader Chris Issenmann was very professional and efficient. We walked the installation sites and reviewed the contract and the removal of existing and installation was started. The second part of the crew arrived in a timely manner and started to work immediately. I worked with construction crews prior to retirement and I was impressed with the men on my project. Upon completion of the installation I was asked to review the installation and we addressed a few minor issues, which were resolved immediately. I was impressed with the post installation cleanup process. The quality and performance of the material speaks for its self. It has an excellent finish that matches the neighbors, which living in a planned development is a necessity. I am glad that the “Gutter Magician of Northern Kentucky is listed in your magazine, as it is a quality product and installed by craftsman. The Better Business A+ rating is well deserved.

Description of Work: Replaced old garage door, replaced the garage door opener/keypad and remotes, retrimmed around the door. Had to add extra weather stripping around the bottom of the door due to unlevel garage floor. Addressed this with us before they did and were able to give us the additional cost immediately (only $100 extra. Took them about 3 hours. Cleaned up their mess before leaving. Ran through instructions with us.

Description of Work: We are extremely impressed with the trough gutters they installed to replace our ancient steel gutters from the '60s! The crews were efficient, professional and very considerate. This was a BIG job with over 200 feet of gutter with long, complicated pitches for water harvesting. It was all installed in about three hours and they exceeded our expectations by constructing connectors to our cistern. They were neat, clean and took care not to damage plants and flowerbeds. The salesman was low pressure, understood what we needed and why. And were willing to work with us to accomplish our objective. We have been singing their praises to everyone we know!

Description of Work: Replaced all our old gutters with there much improved design gutters. They also had to replace the face board and trim siding on the back side of house. When the job was complete they cleaned up their mess and did a walk around the house with me to see if everything was done to my satisfaction. My wife and I are very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend them to anybody. Great gutters and fantastic job installing them.

Description of Work: Didn't use them because the salesperson was so horribly aggressive we could not get him to leave so we could have dinner! He was here for 2 1/2 hours trying to convince us to buy his overpriced gutters. They were literally TWICE the cost of Everclean who we went with.

Description of Work: Very nice product. Didn't appreciate the very-old-fashioned sales pitch, which consumed more than 2 hours in the middle of my day. I also don't feel I got the best deal for the money and time spent, but their local manager was very polite and not misleading. Their crew's work was completed quickly and efficiently, and are better than any gutters and downspouts we've had installed.

Description of Work: Gutter Magician installed gutters and downspouts which exactly matched what was promised in the "sales pitch." How cool was that? Just as the installers were finishing, some rain began. I eagerly walked around the house to see how the system was working. Don't you just know it; one of the downspouts was seriously leaking where the elbow from the gutter joined the vertical part of the downspout. At 9:00 the following morning I called the office where my call was answered by the general manager in person. I gave a one sentence report. The reply was that the problem would be corrected that day. Ten minutes later the head installer called to find out what needed to be done. The installer was correcting the problem (successfully and completely) at 5:45 that afternoon. How "bout them apples? Long story short: Gutter Magician has a good product. They install their product well. They acknowledge and correct nmistakes. I recommend them. William Davison

+ -1 moreWe spoke to a rep at the Aurora Indiana Farmers Fair, and scheduled an appointment.The salesman demoed all of the top gutter sheading systems, and showed us the physical differences in size, gauge and durability.I took my time choosing the colors to be used over the next week. I chose a taupe shade to match the existing flashing and white for one of the 5 downspouts on a white porch post, with a diverter for my rain barrel, in the warm months, switching to gutter with just a lever for cold months.The installers were really nice guys, and they did a great job, as I was out there the whole time. They even ran a longer piece through my garden to keep it away from the house in the cold months, all other downspouts go into drains that run out further on the property.We love these for their rain collection, and the easy to remove, and clean leaf collector bins in the down spouts.We Were Told there would be Ice Sickles.The only thing we don't like about the gutters are the Ice Sickles in the winter. They get to be 2 to 4 feet long, off that top drip edge. We wack them with a long push broom, so there is no harm to anyone from 2 stories up. Although one did put a nasty dent in my new coach lamp out back.I would love to have these in Florida.Never any clogs, after 3 years.

+ -1 moreI really wasn't interested in getting gutter guards from a company I had never heard of. I was pressured into providing more information, and then he left an "appointment card" for a sales call at 6PM the next day. When filling out the appointment card, he asked "is this still Madeira?" which is no where close to my house, so that led me to believe he wasn't really doing the gutters for one of my neighbors. The appointment card had no contact information for the company on it, which seemed suspicious. I checked with the BBB and learned they are not members. I looked up the number on the internet and called explaining that I was pressured into a sales visit that I wasn't interested in, and that the guy that came to the door said they were members of the BBB when they are not. The lady on the phone was very nice, and said they are "going through the process" to become BBB members, but they had not yet been in business for 1 year which is a requirement. The lady canceled my appointment and told me that she would make sure the sales reps knew they were not yet BBB members. High pressure sales tactics and dishonesty is no way for a brand new company to build a reputation!
Description of Work: Gutter Magician representative showed up at my front door stating that they were doing gutter repair work for one of my neighbors and wanted to give me a free quote for gutter guards to keep the leaves out. I told him I wasn't really interested, but if he wanted to leave me a free quote that was fine. He wanted to get all of my information and then asked if I would be home with my wife the next day at 6:00PM. I told him I was interested in somebody coming back to give me a sales pitch, and he said that they would drop off a free estimate at 6PM the next day. He repeatedly told me that they were members of the better business bureau.
