I called brent about this job and he came to view it the next day ...He said he was busy but would like to get it done asap and he will give me notice a couple of day in advance.he called me thursday and said that he can do the job on Saturday he came out at 9 along with another Employee and they did such a great job that I would be using him again very soon for another project that I have to be done.

Brent and his team did a great job on finishing up my basement remodel that I was tired of working on....came out quickly to do the quote, we settled on a price, and work began a few days later. He gave an accurate quote and came in right where he said he would on labor + materials! His patience in the finishing details was superb and I couldn't be happier! He gave me plenty of tips on framing and drywall and showed me areas I could've improved on (we did the framing/drywall ourselves.) He fixed all our mistakes. Also, he was very responsive to phone calls and kept me up to date daily on arrival times, what he was going to finish that day, and what time he would be leaving.... After a short renovation break I will have him back to do more around my house, most definitely!!!

I told him I had a coupon, and he changed the price. I asked him some specific questions, and he said he would contact the dealership and get back to me. I have not heard back from him. I cannot tell if he is genuinely interested in the project or not.

This company should never have accepted to do this work on Angie's List. When Brent first came out to give me a 'quote' I initially wanted a hole fixed in the wall (from a water pipe leak) and the wallpaper taken down and get the walls ready for paint. He informed me it would cost an additional $400 to fix the hole in the wall. I said ok, don't do the hole, just get the wallpaper off and get the walls ready for painting. I asked him to do the work the following Friday, but he said he wanted to do earlier in the week so I agreed to Tuesday as early as they could get here. He called on Monday and said they would be here at 9:30 a.m. He called 4 different times to get coupon number, etc. and just didn't seem to have it together. I should have known then and asked Angies List for my money back. I took the day off from work to be at the house on Tuesday while the work was performed. He called at 9:15 and said they were running late because of another job and would be here at 10:30-11:00. AT 12:30 two guys showed up and got to work. They did not cover the floors; they had no broom or trash bags for the wallpaper mess, and no ladder to reach the higher part of the walls. They apologized for not coming prepared. At one point, my husband overheard one of them say, this is not a 2 person job as there isn't room for both of them to work in the confined space. So basically one stood around while the other worked. Brent came in around 4:00 and proceeded to tell me that they had the wallpaper down but the walls were a mess. He said if I wanted them to get the walls ready for painting, I could 'hire' them to do the additional work. I said that was supposed to be part of the deal for $199 and he called me a liar. My bathroom is now a complete mess and Brent was VERY unprofessional. Even said that I owed him money because he had two workers there for more than 3 hours. He called me 'cheap' for using a coupon. It ended up a screaming match and I told him to get out of my house. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! HE HAS NO BUSINESS ON ANGIE'S LIST. As a follow-up - Brent did call back after the work and offer to "make it right". We responded "thanks but no thanks". This contractor may be very good if he's being paid full price but I wouldn't recommend using the coupon deal as I really didn't get what I paid for. If you do use the coupon, be sure to get "in writing" what they agree to do for the coupon amount.

Brent and Chad did it again! I showed them a picture of something I liked and ! there it was:exactky what I wanted, at agreed price, in no time at all.This is the second project they did for me,both very positive-plan to call them back for all future projects.

I hired Brent and his crew for the second time.First he helped us fix our old house to prep for sale.Now we have contracted them to install a fully finished office with storage space in our basement.They provided everything we had invisioned and more. These guys ability to take an idea and put it into work is amazing. Brent gave us an estimate of 6200.00 which we were more than pleased with, after they finished he told us he was able to save us 300.00 dollars and total cost was 5900.00. I would reccomend this company for any prodject.

Kept me apprised of schedule and always stuck to it. They stayed on it until it was done, and were very agreeable when I came up with changes along the way.And I have to add that Brent went way beyond the usual when he came out at midnight to free my cat,who had managed to get stuck behind the newly installed cabinets. Her hero!

Positive Experience. Highly recommended. The work began with upgrading our electrical service to support an additional 220 circuit.. The biggest challenge was running a new 220 line from the circuit box on the northern wall of the basement through an outside wall on the southern side of the house. A distance of nearly 50 feet through the rafters of a finished basement ( i.e. no access points). There we several challenges in running the new wire through the basement ceiling and through a finished "under-deck" where the hot tub was being located. Also updated existing electrical work (lights and fan) to bring up to code. Also had to deal with bad information provided by the homeowner (me). Hooking up the hot tub was completed in short order once the line was run to the outside. Despite the challenges the work was accomplished on time and within $50 of original estimate (which was approved before the work was done). Hot tub works great. It is wonderful. The work was carefully planned and solutions were quickly found for each obstacle encountered. It was a refreshing experience to have a home improvement contractor that exceeded expectations. Only happened once before in 30 years of being a homeowner.

I had a GREAT experience with Brent and his company. He was very respectful, friendly, and polite - and really cared about exactly what I wanted. He was on-time, responsive, and when there was a small tweak to be made, he came by to make the adjustment just a few hours after I called. Extremely reasonably priced and very high quality work - he went above and beyond, and I will definitely be using him in the future, not only for any electrical work but for general remodeling as well. He can do it all!

Ladegast SkilledTrades was the answer to our needs! We had a partially finished room in our basement that we needed completed within a very short time span. They did a great job framing up & drywalling the room and adding a walkin closet. They also made another closet for us under the stairs along with putting on a properly ventilated door for the furnace room. The base trim was also done by them and was nice(he also fixed some trim above an existing door). There was an electrical box in the room and since it was going to be a kids room, we needed to enclose it and put a lock on it and that is exactly what was made for us. It was perfect. They also repaired a large stress crack above our MBR door. The owner Brent was extremely professional and so were his employees. Very prompt and kind. I felt very comfortable having them in my home doing the job while I was away at work during the day. The job was not rushed, but done promptly as said. I even asked Brent to look at the basement toilet to get his opinion of why it was leaking. He did a quick fix for me and didn't even charge us. Also, put in an access panel in the main basement area along with one in our closet which we needed to have. Wonderful to have a working restroom near a kids bedroom. We are very pleased with the affordable & excellent job that Ladegast Skilled Trades did for us and will contact them in the future with any jobs needed. Thanks!

We contracted Ladegast skilled Trades to finish our basement. The did everything from start to finish including -Framing, Drywall,Tile, Electrical, Painting,Custom woodworking and trim. They completed the job in a timely manner and everything was done well. We are happy with all the work they have done and will use them in the future.

We had several Problems with our home preventing us from being able to sell it. We found Ladegast Skilled Trades on Angie's List and had him inspect and then fix all of our existing problems and also make some cosmetic repairs.They did a phenomenal job and we closed on our house this past Friday. We will be hiring Ladegast skilled Trades to do some minor remodeling on our new home and recommend this company to anyone who wants a quality contractor at a great price.

I ask Brent to build a solid oak free standing pantry.

It went great and took about 4 hours.

All went very well after they got started.
