He not only came out to offer his advice, but he also offered to inspect the installation of the window while a new one was being installed. He even provided me a detailed, written report that he produced on the spot. I have the utmost confidence in his knowledge and insight. He is a homeowners best kept secret...especially if you are unfamiliar with major home projects and improvements.

WHILE OTHER HOME INSPECTORS MAY BE SHY ABOUT CLIMBING LADDERS, CLIMBING INTO ATTICS, CRAWLING INTO TIGHT CRAWL SPACES, NOTHING DETERS ALEX LOCKSTEAD FROM A VERY THOROUGH INSPECTION. IN FACT, HE SAVED MY FAMILY FROM A POTENTIALLY COSTLY HOME PURCHASE BY FINDING SERIOUS WATER DAMAGE IN A HOME WE WERE EXCITED ABOUT PURCHASING. IF IT WERE NOT FOR ALEX, WE WOULD HAVE BEEN SADDLED WITH SOME PRETTY LARGE COSTS. ALSO, ALEX IS A TEACHER. HIS PASSION FOR HIS WORK SHINES THROUGH. HE PATIENTLY EXPLAINS EVERYTHING TO YOU WHILE HE INSPECTS A HOME. HE DISCUSSES MAINTENANCE ISSUES AND REALLY GIVES NOVICE HOME OWNERS ONE OF THE BEST AD HOC COURSES ON HOME OWNERSHIP. Description of Work: WE PURCHASED THE RADON PACKAGE INSPECTION, WHICH IS VERY COMPREHENSIVE AND INCLUDES THE WHOLE HOUSE INSPECTION, TERMITE INSPECTION, CARBON MONOXIDE TESTING, GAS LEAK CHECK, MAINTENANCE EVALUATION AND SCHEDULE,TELEPHONE CONSULTATION AND 48 HOUR RADON MONITORING.

+ -1 moreIT WAS A WONDERFUL LEARNING EXPERIENCE! HE WAS A GOOD TEACHER, HE GIVES YOU OPTIONS. FOR EXAMPLE, HE TELLS YOU THE AGE OF THE FURNACE AND IF IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. HE IS VERY CONCERNED WITH SAFETY. YOU CAN PRIORITIZE REPAIRS. HE GIVES YOU IDEAS ON HOW TO HANDLE REPAIRS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IVE HIRED THEM AND ILL HIRE THEM AGAIN. ILL NEVER BUY A HOUSE WITHOUT THEM.
