Description of Work: Replaced a 20' X 15' deck.

Description of Work: The house needing work is owned by my daughter and son-in-law. They just moved in and are new to town so I bought them Angies List. The new old house needs lots of repairs. I called Albert Coffey and asked him to provide an estimate of multiple home repairs, ranging from new thresholds between rooms, new shelving, dry wall repair, new carpet installed on stairs, shoe molding where none was but should be and other trim work. I was impressed with both David Scott and Albert Coffey when they came out to provide the estimate. They impressed me as honest caring men that really wanted to do a good job for me. The estimate for all the work needed was more that what my budget could afford today so I asked them to do a portion of the work now and after we saw what they could do we might do more with them. They were happy to accommodate my financial needs. They created from scratch 2 solid oak thresholds that are beautiful. They were very attentive to every aspect of putting the thresholds in place. They let me watch and didn't complain when I offered suggestions. We are very happy with their work. They also put shelving in a cabinet space in the basement and my daughter said she loves them. They followed all my requests for shelf installation. I can't say enough about how good these guys are. My daughter has already asked them to put the carpet on the stairs and next month we will finish up with all the trim work. They are great!!

Description of Work: Like most people who buy houses built in the last 10 years, the craftsmanship would have been better if a one arm monkey with a head cold had put my siding on. As a result, I had leaks on each side of my slider door on my second floor deck. The builders did not add flashing around my deck and slider door. This resulted in moldy wood which a second floor deck was attached to.

Description of Work: These guys have completed a couple of jobs for me (gutters, roofing, window wrapping, chimney and siding repair) on a couple of my rental properties that I have been more than satisfied with. I am now having them give me an estimate on my home (original Victorian style). I will use their services again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Description of Work: Replaced soffits all around my 106 year home to match the original work, primed and painted it as well. Tuck-pointed the foundation on my home and custom welded a tool to match the original protruding joint. Replaced cedar shingles (siding) on house.
