Bill did an excellent job. I used their services for around a year while I lived in Wichita. I liked that they communicated well, showed up on time and let me know if anything was going to affect the price or timing of the work. He always left my house clean after working each day and provided a quality service.

The quality is excellent and the bathroom looks beautiful. They were very prompt. The technicians do a great job. We have been pleased with their work.

This was my second time using their services. The technician does a wonderful job and Wanda who answers the phone is very nice to work with. They were able to fit me in pretty quickly and accommodate my schedule. I will be using them again soon.

They showed up exactly on time every morning, they finished in just 4 days. They covered everything so the dust would not get everywhere, each day they cleaned up before they left. Two doors came in wrong and one was broken and they replaced them in a timely manner. We were so impressed with how clean they kept everything, it allowed us to continue to use our kitchen while they were working.

I am very pleased with my experience with this company and their employees. I love my new cabinets and highly recommend this company to anyone who is needing a new kitchen update

A very professional company. They had to tear up the existing floor and replace it with new plywood. I was very comfortable with them being in my home. And Jim even reinforced several of the floor joists. They charge by the hour. And he stuck to his original estimate on the time involved. It helped with expenses that they had given a gift certificate to a hospice that I was able to take advantage of.

Great, the guy was right on time and knowledgeable. There was more damage that was apparent from the outside once he got the trim and siding off. It took him most of the day. I am satisfied that it was repaired properly and it all looks great. The damage would have gotten much worse if he hadn't had fixed it now.

It wasn't done and they still have work to do. I like the work that they're doing. There was a communication problem in the onset. We're having to go longer and reorder some things. I don't know whose fault that was but I didn't get everything the first time. There's been a delay. They're not going to be finished when I thought they were. They have been pretty good about showing up on time. Their professionalism was very good.

While the office staff that I talked to were very cordial I was hung up on when I did not want to pay a trip charge for an estimate. When you are planning on spending big bucks with a company a charge for an estimate is out of the question. Being hung up on because you weren't happy with the charge is totally unprofessional. There are plenty of other places that give free estimates just for a chance of getting the project. While they have great reviews on their work, I would not use them nor will I call them again.

The door install went within projected time.

You think you could just have someone come out and give you an estimate, accept the conditions in the estimate, hire them to come out and complete the job and it would be finished. However, after hiring [Company Name Removed], you realize that would be way too simple! After accepting the estimate they came and spent the amount of hours (4) needed from the estimate. However they left one section of gutters unfixed because electric and cable wires (and our car) was in the way to access this section. Well wait, the wires were there when they came the first time for the estimate. And for the car, we could have moved it. If this section was going to be a problem, please let us know ahead. Furthermore they tried to charge us for rentals and materials that were not part of the initial estimate (about $100 worth). So after calling and explaining our frustration, they accepted to: - not charge us for the very first estimate ($30) - not charge us for the materials and rentals ( They wanted us to pay for the rental of the ladder but that was not written in the first estimate) - come for another hour and finish the work on the 'inaccessible' section but charge us for this extra hour The work completed was done well but it took longer than estimated and they tried to bill us for materials and rentals that were not written in the first estimate. To finish the story, there is still another section of the gutters that need to be fixed which they did not even offer to complete. We are assuming this is because they had to come out 3 times already. Conclusion: the job performed was well done. However the process of the estimate, billing, additional charges, coming back was terrible. We called [Company Name Removed] in the first place to have all gutters refastened and gave them the job after agreeing on the cost and time. In the end it cost us more than the estimate and not all gutters have been addressed. Unfortunately for [Company Name Removed], that's a D.

Very friendly and punctual And professional

I was given a length of time that would be needed to complete the job at a hourly rate. I could buy the materials myself or they would buy them with a 30% markup. The Handyman was on time and explained to me all the details that were needed to repair the window damage. I have not had the work done, but will do so soon.

I am writing this review with absolute certainty that there will a rebuttal with denial and excuses as to why these events occurred with Handyman Matters. I made an appointment to have Phil Davis, the owner, come to my home and discuss the work, miscellaneous work that needs to be done, including tiling all bathrooms and kitchen backsplash. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Not only did Mr. Davis not show up, but I was told by "Stacy" that because of computer issues he wasn't going to come at all on the scheduled day. What a tremendous inconvenience! I rushed around like a crazy trying to finish up at work so that I would be home on time for the 3:30 appointment. There was a message on my answering machine that Mr. Davis would be an hour late. Wasn't happy about that. Approximately 30 minutes later, "Stacy" from the office called to tell me that because I wasn't home earlier today to answer my phone, he wasn't coming at all. She clearly intimated that it was my tough luck, because I didn't receive the phone calls. She was rude and apathetic. All I can say is that I work hard every day, and was working today when they attempted to call me, took off work early (not easy), killed myself to get home, and then he didn't show up. Stacy gave every excuse in the book and never apologized for any of it. This company isn't worth the time it took me to write this review, but if it saves someone else from the frustration I endured, then it's worth it. Just as sure as I'm sitting here, the owner will never call to apologize. If he does read this, I suspect that he will try to justify what transpired. Consumers beware, I haven't had much luck with Angie's List!

I had the materials there. He estimated the job around 2 hours, but completed it in just one hour. The quality and sturdiness were great too.

On my speed dial for now on! He was supposed to come for a consult only but did so much more than that. He saw a leak from my front yard faucet and he fixed right there on the spot. Thanks again!

company was very responsive and professional from the initial phone contact setting up the appointment all the way through to the end of the repair. their repair tech, ralph was scheduled at 2:00 but finished early with another job and called to give me a choice of coming early or keeping our 2:00. i elected to have him come early which he did. positive experience from the get go ;). i would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them.

I've used [Company Name Removed] for drywall work, minor plumbing and electricity, tile floor installation, bathroom remodel and the like. When a job is something outside of their expertise, they are upfront and say that.

I got them from Angie’s List. They did a great job, they were very friendly, and were very patient. They cleaned everything. Two months later I called them again to do something else and will be calling them again. The job was complicated but they knew what they were doing and they did it right. They were priced less than I thought it was going to be.

My basement stairs were spooky, with no risers, and steps were not equal in depth. Handyman was spot on regarding time to look project over and give estimate. Office called that afternoon to set up work appointment. Work appointment, he removed old stairs, and cut them up to fit into my trash container, and made new stairs. So delighted with workmanship, stairs and cleaning up after project was completed.
