Stover's Restoration

We had another Restoration company come out to give us a quote. They were going to lift the carpet up and remove a portion of the padding along with taking down the pool table. Their quote was $2,400. So we called Stover's and they came out immediately. It was around 5 p.m. and we were charged after business hour prices. We were pleased that they did not have to move the pool table, lift the carpet and remove the padding. They used a heavy duty vacuum and dehumidifier along with fans. The only thing we're dissatisfied with is the cost. Our insurance did not cover because it was water from the outside. Stover's charged more then the other Restoration company who was going to replace part of the padding and have the pool table taken down. We expected a lower price for the amount of work which was done.

It went smoothly and timely. They brought in the fans and dehumidifiers and removed all excess moisture. Following this, they demo'd damaged drywall and flooring so my contractor could come in and begin repairs. Finally they came in and did whole house floor cleaning as well as duct cleaning to remove any dust from the demo work and construction.

These guys are very professional and were easy to work with. I'd hire them again!

I called Phil Stover of Stovers Restoration. He came right away. As bad as our problem was, he smiled and gave me hope. He assured me everything would be alright. He checked my house from top to bottom. Not only did he tell us what Stovers could do, he made helpful suggestions for other minor repairs we needed. The day of the restoration came and some of the three kindest men I’ve ever met showed up at our door. Bronson, Nick and Loren knew exactly what they were doing. They went to work immediately and didn’t stop until our problem was a memory. They cleaned up the site, and with a smile and a “thank you for using Stovers”, they were gone. I’ll never forget how they eased my fears and solved our problems. If you are looking for a stellar, state of art company, give them a call. You’ll be so glad you did.

Stover's technicians were prompt, professional, and thorough. Shawn was at our house only a few hours after we reported the water damage and checked in on the drying process each day after until the walls, ceiling and floors were completely dried.

Went very well. Came out day I called and started restoration on a Friday afternoon. Answered all questions, since this is my first real problem in my first house. I would not recommend this company to anyone! They did a terrible job, charged me $3000.00 over what I agreed to pay, wiped out my checking account without permission and after several attempts to speak with the owner, the office ladies would never put me through to him. I have attached a few photos to show a small potion of what they did to my basement.

Our interaction with Stover's was great. We had several inches of water in our basement that needed removed. They came out on a Sunday afternoon and worked until almost 11pm to get the water removed. They had to move furniture, including pool table. They set up dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the area. They were responsive to our questions and came back to our house on a daily basis to check the progress of getting the rooms dried out.

It took about 4 days, but everything was dry and ready for the contractor to come in and retexture the ceiling. They were punctual and extremely nice every time they came over! Office staff was also awesome to deal with!

Arrived very promptly and began cutting out saturated carpet and drywall. Cleaned up any pooled water and began the drying process after antifungal applied. The drying took a couple extra days because of a secondary leak presented the next day. Very professional service!

Excellent. The Stover's team was very efficient in the handling of clean up and remediation of our home. Their staff is very professional and knowledgeable, they took the time to help us understand what they were doing and why it was necessary.

Shawn was excellent in taking care of the issue. They worked late on the first night to get the water vacuumed up, carpet pad removed, fans and dehumidifier in place. Shawn ha come back the last 2 days to check on the wetness of the walls and carpet. Great experience during a bad time.

5.0 star rating 5/2/2017 Stover's Restoration was EXCELLENT! We had water in our basement and when we called they came out right a way after hours. They were very friendly and informative. They assessed the damage and let us know what was happening each step of the way. After assessing they got to work at restoring it. We were very pleased with them and would highly recommend them to anyone. When you are in this situation you need someone who knows what they are doing, they are definitely those people. This is our second experience with Stover's.

They came, checked all the rooms for damage. Cleaned up the excess water. Put a preventative down to stop the mold from starting. Came back daily to check the dehumidifiers and fans and also to see how things were drying.

Stover's Restoration got to our home promptly and were very professional with their work. While many of our personal items were taken care of quickly, we had a large stack of cardboard boxes that did not get the initial care they needed, as they were directly next to the sump pump that quit working and in the most water. We also had some rugs across the basement that were not moved until my wife noticed them the next day. Stover's tried to correct their mistakes, and are washing the rugs; however, my wife had to spend hours cleaning and fixing the items that were in the cardboard boxes. Overall, I would recommend this company to my friends and family, but I do wish the boxes and rugs would have gotten the attention they needed in the beginning.
