It went well considering having a flooded basement is not a pleasant experience. The Stover employees were courteous and professional. They understood the insurance process and explained everything they were doing. They took pictures of the damage and provided the invoice to me and the insurance company. It took forever (ok 5 or 6 days) for my basement to fully dry. They had to check on the status probably 3 or 4 times before the fans were removed. Not only were they on time for each visit, they were EARLY. I would have to leave work to meet them at times. Each time, they met me in the driveway. I appreciated that they were so respectful of my time away from work. They even reminded me to claim the difference in my electric bill on the insurance claim since the fans running non-stop use plenty of electricity. I marked 'excellent' on the price, because when your basement is flooded, you really don't have time to shop around for what you think is a good price. I called the plumber that we have used for years and they recommended Stover's. They didn't seem to try to pad the price to meet my coverage. They estimated about $5000 at first inspection and as more damage was detected, they kept me informed of any updates. The final price to remove water from and clean carpet in a fully finished basement including 3 bedrooms was $7100.00.

Stover's did a great job for us. They promptly came the day after our basement flooded and they were there for every step of the process to fix the damage. I am pleased with their work and would use them again.

I called early in the morning to see if they would be able to help me. They arrived at 4pm, but could have been there much sooner if I could have gotten off work. The technician determined the amount of area that was affected, helped us move the furniture in the affected area. He got to work right away and within an hour, had extracted as much water as possible. He placed several 6 fans around the area and 2 dehumidifiers. It took 4 days for the carpet to completely dry, but they checked on us several times to make sure that the carpet was drying appropriately. Once it was dry, the carpet was reblocked and padding replaced. The last step was to steam clean the carpet. The carpet looks great. We were very happy with their promptness and professionalism. If the need ever presents itself again, I would not hesitate to have them come back.

Cannot say enough on how things were handled with Stover's Restoration from start to finish. Scheduling was a breeze. Everything was handled in a very professional manner. Cory provided us with the necessary information on how long it would take to complete the job, why some stains couldn't be removed and the drying time. AFter he was done Cory made sure that water on the ceramic floor was wiped dry and that things were the way they should be. He was very efficient!

We were very glad we made the decision to call Stover?s when water damage occurred at our home. We were panicked when we called Stover?s, and shortly after Preston Stover arrived, we knew everything was going to be OK. Preston is not only very knowledgeable when it comes to water damage restoration, but he also knows the right way to relay that information to homeowners in crisis. His excellent customer service skills are rare in this day and age, and we felt fortunate that he responded to our call. The rest of our experience with Stover?s went well, and while we hope we don?t have a similar issue in the future, we?d definitely call Stover?s the next time.

They did a fantastic job and the technician was outstanding. Our ducts had never been cleaned and it took him about 10-12 hours. This was a very labor intensive job and he also installed a UV light sanitizer above the condenser. I would use them again.

Even before my insurance agent recommended Stovers, I had them in my home through an internet search. Of the three groups I had come through, they seemed the most reasonable. The problem was that I had a toilet keep running at the same time a guest clogged the toilet with fecal matter. My wife and I heard water running in the bathroom and thought a guest was showering. What we were hearing was water running into the ventilation system in the floor. Some 20-40 minutes later we realized no one was showering and the hallway carpeting was soaked. The water went through the ventilation and dripped into one of the downstairs bedrooms. (Only water came out - no fecal matter -- that was stuck deep in the ubend of the toilet. At first I used towels and blankets to dry everything I could. With children, you learn to live with spills of ALL sorts. It was only a few days later when my wife and I noticed a really bad musty smell in the downstairs area that we began worrying about mold and decided we should contact a professional. The first group that came to do an estimate said that because it was an overflow from a feces clogged toilet it was category three water and anything it touched would have to be ripped out and replaced. That meant walls, flooring, ceilings, etc... and could easily go beyond insurance limits. Stovers actually came at the end of the time the other company was there and heard this evaluation. Once the other company left, the Stovers representative told me that the regulations were complex and explained why this was only going to be category two water and that explained that the repairs would be much less extensive. (The insurance agent agreed when I spoke with her later.) They went around the home measuring moisture in flooring, ceilings (for the downstairs area), walls, and even affected cabinets. They helped me understand that the humidity was what made a couple of downstairs doors not close properly. (This saved me from doing anything drastic with them.) Once I contracted Stovers, they removed affected carpet padding and vinyl flooring. They then provided about seven fans and two large dehumidifiers to heat up and dry everything out. They checked water levels once every two to three days and removed equipment as they could until everything read as dry. (My doors closed again too.) Finally, they sprayed a natural based anti-microbial agent to make sure that there would be no mold growth. They were at all times courteous, professional, and thorough. The ventilation system also had to be cleaned but I contracted with another company (a man who does the work on the side at greatly discounted rates) to do that part of the work. Another piece I forgot to mention is that they worked well with and were well known by my insurance agent. In fact, my agent said that Stovers was her "go to" restoration group for water damage and one of three she would highly recommend in the state of Kansas.

They came out very quickly and assessed the damages. Set up fans and dehumidifiers that night then came back the next morning to tear out old carpet pad and kitchen floor. The tech was very courteous and professional. When they relaid the carpet it wasn't tucked under the threshold in an area. I called and they came out very quickly to fix it. The office is not good at returning calls which was frustrating and the price seemed high for what they did. Overall it was good service. I would recommend them.

We called at 2:00 pm and he was there by 4:00 pm. Went right to work - very efficient and business like.

They were reasonably priced & very friendly. This was our 2nd time using them cause our 1st experience was so good.

I wanted to use insurance money to get new carpet since ours was pretty old and pay the difference but Stovers said they would leave if I wanted to do that. They would only stay and do the work for the full $5000 my insurance company was going to pay. They also made me give them my credit card with a blank amount on it to cover their fans they left in the house to dry out basement. I was very concerned about signing a blank amount with my credit card number...but again... they said they would take all the drying fans out of the house and leave if I didn't give them my credit card authorization right then. You are at their mercy when you have a disaster and it was horrible the way they took advantage of the situation. They completed the work but got my OLD carpet back and they got $5000 from my insurance company plus I had a $1000 deductible... sweet deal for them... me... not so much! Oh... they also said they would give me a discount if I wrote a positive review for them on specific websites. They would check to make sure the reviews were done before the discount was applied to the bill....so, don't believe everything you read on this merchant. I might have been an isolated case but I would not use them again.

It went very well. The workers are courteous and competent. We expected an estimate and a service delay. We actually got an estimate and immediate action. Stover's checked the problem and the basement was dry in 4 days. We gave them our day code so that they could enter when we were out. Stover's is completely trustworthy.

It went very well. Two technician were very helpful and nice. Pulled carpet and Pad very quickly and assessed damage. Worked well with insurance company.

We discovered the flooding early in the evening which had apparently had been ongoing for several days. The odor from the flooding was overwhelming. As soon as we realized there was a problem we starting calling around to find a restoration company. We called a several places and eventually had two come out for an estimate. Both companies arrived within an hour. However, the Stover's team was professionally dressed and ready to work. The competitor was not. The fact that Stover?s was willing to get the work started immediately was a huge factor. They were also seemed more able to accurately assess the damage and give a clear detailed definition of what was needed for the clear up effort. The clean up took several hours which they completed after11pm. They left quite a few fans, dehumidifiers and an air scrubber to ensure the problem was fully resolved. By the time they left that evening there were there no lingering foul odors. Crew Chief, David Mercado, came back in a couple of days to reassess the situation and to see if the moisture content was at an acceptable level. Overall we were very happy with the service, timeliness and professionalism of David Mercado and his assistant. The complete price was unknown at the time of this review. So I used the estimate provided by my insurance company.
