Description of Work: Replaced a microswitch on a Samsung refrigerator. The switch that releases water and/or ice through the door. Diagnosed the problem quickly. Had the part available in his truck, replaced the part and all covered in a service call time allotment. Part cost $10 or 15 I think. | |It took them a little time to get back to me after the initial call, otherwise it would have been across the board A's | |I would use them again!

Description of Work: Gave a 5 hr window of when they would arrive for the estimate on our front loading washing machine. Rich knew exactly where to look for problem part, which had to be ordered. He returned 10 days later using the same 5-hr window for his arrival. Washer was successfully repaired.

Description of Work: He said he couldn't get to my dishwasher for a couple of weeks, and recommended Handy Mick's 4350 SW 157th Douglass, KS 67039 316-518-8598 Turned out Mick was the person my Mother and I had both used in the past, and is who I was looking for when I went on Angies list to see if I could find him there. I would recommend Mick of Rick, both are honest good people.

Description of Work: Called Rick's and explained my problem with my stove and the name of the part. They sent David out the following day with the part for my stove. David was very friendly and professional, he replaced the part and tried the stove to make sure that it worked. However, my stove had blown the relay as well as the replaced part. The burners and the broiler worked but not the oven. He phoned in the problem and ordered the relay part. I got a call from Rick's saying that the relay part couldn't be found anywhere. I expected to buy a new stove. Then Rick's called and informed me that they had found the relay part and set up a time to come and fix the stove. David showed back up and fixed the problem and now the stove work's wonderfully. The office called each time to tell me that David was on his way for both visits. I am going to have them fix the timer on my washing machine next. Thanks Rick's and Angie's list!

+ -1 moreI was surprised. I would've expected to have to pay for the service call, but I didn't. He did an excellent job; he pinpointed the situation and the problem. He fixed the issue. I have nothing but the best to say of him. He was friendly and professional.

+ -1 moreTechnician had to run back to the store to get the part. I wish they would have asked more specifically what was wrong and brought a selection of parts with them that may have helped the repair.

+ -1 moreRick's sent a repairman to our home and he diagnosed the problem with our Sub-Zero refrigerator. He was polite, quick and efficient. He returned to install the part a few days later (part )had to be ordered and had even found out that part was covered under warranty, which we wouldn't have known had he not told us. I was actually happy when I saw the bill! Refrigerator working perfectly. About a year before that, I had a disastrous day, ice maker quit, freezer quit, and believe it or not, the dryer went out while Rick's had anoter repairman here for the ice maker. To top it off, I was 9 months pregnant! I started to cry, (hormones!) and the repairman was so nice, looked at the dryer and told me it was a lost cause. He recommended a brand to buy and where to go to purchase one. He ordered a new ice maker and returned a few days later to install it.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired my "sick" refrigerator. Also fixed ailing washer and ice maker.
