Painting By Victor

Victor is a personable man who was responsive to our needs. We needed some help getting an estimate to settle a real estate transaction. Victor was very understanding and quickly came over and gave us an estimate. We elected not to have everything done, but within a short time Victor came over to start the work. As others have said, he is very outgoing and loves to talk. Nevertheless, he did the work we asked and completed the job in just one day. He had an additional cost of buying a gallon of paint to match our garage ceiling. However, the overall price seemed high considering the fact that he completed the job in just one day. He did an okay job on the ceiling and wall in the living room. Although he included two coats of paint in his estimate, he explained to my wife that it didn't need that. He would only use one coat. In the garage we tried to move as much as we could to get it out of his way. Nevertheless, he didn't cover the floor or several items underneath where he was painting. The white primer looked to be water based so I assured my wife that we could clean it up later. It didn't clean up. My painted garage floors, walls, lawn furniture, etc. have permanent white spots on them. Oh well, as Victor had told us earlier, "its just a garage". Have no real beef with Victor. Couldn't ask for better response. Only problem is, I could have done the job myself, made less of a mess, saved a bunch of money, and wouldn't have to go back over the garage walls to paint over the white primer. .

He is booked through February so I had to use another service provider. I would recommend him based on our talking together.

Painting by Victor is one of the true professional painters in Wichita. We set a date for him to come, which really mattered to me, and he was punctual and came and helped our house look new and fresh inside. He and his partner spent two days with us, and refused to leave until we were satisfied and all was finished. I can't imagine you ever going wrong with Painting by Victor. They even helped my wife pick out colors and helped us each step of the way. Do yourself a favor, go with Victor! He has a skill set that is unique for design and crafting combinations of colors and finishes. They didn't even leave a speck of paint anywhere. Victor painted and skimmed (meaning he smoothed out my wallpaper and the drywall next to it) and did a great job. I will be using him again.

Victor is a very pleasant person to deal with. He explains step, by step what he is doing and how long it should take. Any time I asked a question, he always took the time to explain the answer. I was very pleased with the professionalism & expertise that Victor showed. He was very friendly & informed me of everything that he was doing. He is an excellent painter & didn't even have to mask any thing off, and that was very impressive to me!! My dog messed up part of his work & he didn't get upset about the extra work & didn't even charge me for it. I really enjoyed the time that I spent with him while he was in my home & will definitely hire him again.

It began with the Angie's List Victor 'special' that includes one painter for a week (5 days). That was the starting point. Victor came and gave me an estimate that included the consideration for the 'special' and I accepted. We began within a couple of weeks. It was a bear of a job because of the remnants of wallpaper that was stripped, not in the most ideal fashion, by a another provider. Victor really knew how to prepare the job for paint, given the hurdles: walls that had paper removed, constrained work area due to furnishings, heat and dust. He and his crew became like family even though I spent most of the seven work days at my office. I felt fine about leaving the key. Victor is very accessible by all the modern means of communication. I could reach him by phone, e-mail and text message. Responsiveness is outstanding. I didn't know anything about color palettes so Victor spent time guiding me through the thought process that would reveal the best colors for me. I'm extremely happy with the results: excellent painting, attention to detail and care. He even replaced my old bathroom vanity lights with new ones. What more could I want?

My wife purchased an Angie's List deal for Victor's paint services to paint one room for $99. I was skeptical! However, I went with it. It's in my best interest! Anyway, Victor is extremely responsive. Shortly after making the purchase, Victor quickly communicated to us via the Angie's List messaging process. We set up a time to meet. He accommodated our first day and time request. Victor arrived at the agreed upon time to discuss the details and what to expect. The $99 dollar deal is a bargain because we had a little work to do, though minimal. The night before paint day, we removed pictures from the wall. I moved three pieces of furniture out of the bedroom. The largest being a tall dresser. Didn't even break a sweat. Victor moved the rest himself by putting sliders under the feet and shifting to the center of the room. Victor purchased the paint and we left him a check. below is a copy and paste from his advertised deal. $99 for one 12-by-13-foot room of interior painting with a maximum of 10 foot ceiling. Deal includes: prepping, spot priming, painting, taping interior surfaces, repair of small holes, labor, and basic supplies such as tape and spackle, two coats of paint, one color per room. Customer must provide paint, but service provider can pass on discounts if member chooses to purchase through them And he did just that. Victor did not deviate from his scope of work nor did he compromise quality! Yes $99 is an outstanding deal for the quality and service he provides. His ulterior motive in providing a great deal is for a positive review on Angie's list and either additional or return work as well as light furniture moving and room prep. And by the way, three years ago my parents hired Victor to paint their entire main floor in TG East. I became aware of this during a conversation with my mom, after my wife made the purchase. Victor remembered my folks and the house. Check out his website. Maybe you'll see the work he did for them. Hire Victor he does quality, long lasting work. Further more, he takes an analytical approach to paint type and color selection.

As mentioned above, well but not perfect, still looks great, but I had to hire someone else to come touch up, fix the cracks and just kind of get things to that level that I thought I had paid for with Victor. Nice man, on time and cost what he promised. He went above the call and repainted my walls, which was great! However, I would have preferred he spend that time making sure that everything else was just a little more attention to detail.

They were professional, precise, and extremely easy to work with. Masters of their craft. We got just what we wanted and more with their expertise and incredible advice! We will definitely use Painting By Victor in the future.

Victor painted my living room in an old world style and it is absolutely beautiful, makes the room look so warm and inviting. Victor's pricing was very competitive with 2 other estimates i received and he spent almost an hour explaining to me exactly what and how he would do it. The work is absolutely first class.

I purchased a home in early March and had a very tight timeline with regards to getting the interior of my home painted before the movers arrived. When I contacted Painting by Victor, I dealt directly with the owner of the company, Victor himself. He was very professional, provided a quote on the spot after reviewing the extent of the requested work and assured me he would complete the job on time. He met all of my expectations and then some. He completed the work by the deadline and did an outstanding job. I will definitely work with Painting by Victor again when or if I should require any additional services that the company offers.

Victor is the reason to hire a professional as opposed to doing it yourself. He is extremely knowledgeable about painting, enjoys his work, and does a quality of work that he and you will be proud of. He know's the best paints and colors to use and is very talented. His prices are competitive and fair, and more importantly was fair and reasonable in how he dealt with me and performed the job. I would highly recommend painting by Victor.

Our business has a curved wall that had wallpaper. Victor sealed the wallpaper and did faux leather painting on the wall. The entire process took a week as there are many different steps. We were very particular on the color and he worked until he got the color we wanted. It looks tremendous! He even faux painted the air vent, light switch and another utility box on the wall. We receive many compliments on the wall. While he was working on the wall we asked if he knew anyone who re-did exterior wood doors. He does it! We knew his quality of work was excellent, so we hired him to sand, stain and apply protective coating to our very worn out door. It almost looks new again.We have already recommended Victor to people who have asked who did the work and would not hesitate to use him again!

Victor and his Wife are great. They were both very friendly and helpful from start to finish. They did a great job and really make the entire process a fun experience. We love the work they did for us and would recommend them and/or use them again in a second.

Just received a quote. Seemed like a very hard working, honest, trustworthy and high quality painter. If I had a more extensive budget I would definitely recommend using Victor and his wife. Very nice, very willing to discuss paint options and how the final result would transform a room. Great person to work with.

It is a husband and wife team that did the painting. They were very expensive but did a great quality of work. They were very reliable and punctual.

Excellent, Excellent job! We would use their services again! They took great care to cover and protect carpet, chandeliers and drapes. Arrived on time and job was completed in 3 days as promised.

They arrived at the scheduled time and we spent about an hour or so talking about the areas to be painted and color choices and or last minute changes. They were very helpful when it came to us choosing the colors for our Main Restroom. Overall they were Professional, Courteous, Respectful of our Home, Personable and very understanding and flexible. The painting cost $6264.00, but it was part of the total price that we spent doing the floors and painting our house. He was very pleasant. He was in our home every day. He was such a pleasant person that he almost became a member of the family. His wife was here as well and she was also very pleasant. You wouldn't know they were here unless you wanted to talk to them. They were just very professional. People that come in say that they can sure tell that it was done by a professional and not by my husband and me. Victor has a very good sense of color. His family were all painters and he is the third generation. He can tell you if the color or the shade will work or not. It was a very good experience.
