Description of Work: Complete reside with ever last composite siding. I gave A's in most categories above but some aspects were less than great. Lots of cigarette butts left around the house and lots of nails, screws etc were left in the yard and around the house. The work was done well although there were some issues they had to come back out and fix. We lost some grass and one nice shrub, that was destroyed during the job.

Description of Work: They replaced all of the windows (which are numerous and quite large)and the exterior siding on my house.Their communication skills were lacking in several areas during the ordering process, however, the installation process went quite smooth. The workers were all full-time employees of the company and did excellent work. I am very pleased with the quality of the products and the overall job. I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: Replaced siding on back addition of house and garage gables with EverLast; Replaced and installed living room window with bay/bow window; new storm door. Very pleased with entire experience. Jeff coordinated details, from initial inspection & estimate to final checkup. Both the window man and the siding team were professional, thorough and cleaned up when finished. It took 3 months before the work was scheduled, and that was what Jeff estimated. Once started, everything was complete within four days. We love our new window, door and siding and would not hesitate to hire Mid-America Exteriors again.

Description of Work: I had new French doors installed to replace the original doors on my house, which were broken. Mid America's representative was very professional, personal, and worked with me to insure that I was pleased with the bid and the work. The installer was friendly and did a professional job. I am very pleased with the doors and my experience working with Mid American Exteriors.

+ 1 moreThis was painful and took a long time to complete but that was only because of our insurance company, Travelers, who initially lowballed the bid for repairs. MAE's rep. Jake Walter really went to bat for us and helped us convince Travelers to pay to make our house look the way it did before the hail storm of July 8, 2009. I don't think that other siding companies would have taken the time or persevered. As it was, they started on our house in late November. They finished March 9th. It was a very cold winter and they were out here working on the house even in really cold weather.
Description of Work: Mid America Exteriors repaired and replaced the siding and trim on our house and garage, all of the window wraps, screens, two storm doors and a back entry door.

+ 0 moreThe salesman said they had a specialized crew to install the products we selected. He told the truth. Our installer did an incredible job, there are very few seams. He came up with attractive options that we had not considered before, such as installing a narrow contrasting vinyl molding to break up a wide expanse of horizontal trim between the two main floors. This company is excellent! The house looks great--like it's wearing a tuxedo and I know we can live with this siding for a long time.
Description of Work: The company was one of three that we asked to bid on siding our three-story, Circa 1914 College Hill house. They provided more options in materials and colors than the other companies. Their salesman worked with us to find products that fit the vintage of the house. He found an incredible scalloped product to use on a hipped side roof and in the uppermost overhang, replacing ratty cedar shingles and stucco that were there previously. MAC's crew installed underlayment, steel (not vinyl!) siding, as well as vinyl trim to the windows and soffits. MAC subcontracted with another company to install new guttering.
