Landwehr Roofing was very responsive to my needs. Herbie Landwehr promptly came out to give me a competitive estimate upon calling the company. The work was scheduled to meet my needs around another project I was having done. The work was scheduled on a timely basis and was completed in one day. The crew was very professional and polite. Mike Landwehr, the owner, was present at the end of the day of installation to personally inspect the work. The crew did a excellent job of clean-up upon completion of the work. The new roof looks very attractive. I have had no problems with the workmanship. Several days after installation of the new roof, another crew came to my house to install seamless guttering and downspouts. Again the crew was very professional and did a great job. Mike Landwehr again personally came to inspect the job. I am extremely pleased with the work of Landwehr Roofinng. I give the company my highest recommendation. Mike Landwehr is very involved in each job. He is extremely personable and honest. You can count on the fact that if he tells you something he will do it.

They were very professional. The individual who came out took time to explain about the shingles that their company actually use as compare to model type of shingles. They explained why it was a better shingles to use. Another interesting thing about them was they had all their paperwork, licenses, and copies of that. The information about the type of shingles they use was very knowledgeable, and they had color schemes for the roofing as well as the gutters at the same time.

When we found out our parents' house had been extensively damaged after a tree fell on it from a storm the night before, we immediately called Mike Landwehr and asked him to come by and cover the holes in the roof left by the tree. (We had used Landwehr Roofing on our house last year after a hail storm destroyed our roof.) Mike said they were in Garden Plain but would come by later that evening. They arrived shortly after 7 pm, bringing the tarps and supplies needed to cover the holes. They immediately got on top of the roof, surveyed the damage and started covering the holes. Unfortunately, the angle of the tree hid several of the holes and the size of the remaining limbs made it impossible to directly cover those holes. So they got out their BIG tarp and started nailing it to the tree to cover as much as possible. Provided we don't get the severe winds, we should be good until the insurance agent and tree guy makes it out! I'm sure these guys had already put in an 11-12 hour day, but they were friendly and eager to help us out. They weren't leaving until we were satisfied with what they had done. Excellent service. Appointments were timely and the person completing the estimate was friendly and helpful. The quote was a bit higher than some of the other bids, but I noted that Landwehr used higher quality materials, and I felt much more comfortable with the person who did the quote. His attitude made me willing to go with the slightly higher priced company

This company was really good from the start. I was initially impressed with the upfront information packet given to me, including a long customer reference list, copy of company insurance, city/county/state permits, and all without even having to ask. I had six roofing estimates and I felt most comfortable with this company. I have now had my new roof and gutters for about 1 month now and everything is great, even with this d*** Kansas wind. Also, my wife and I and my four kids are always barefoot outside, I haven't seen or felt 1 nail anywhere in my yard, and that's impressive in my book. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

18-March-2011, Landwehr Roofing Removed and Reinstall All Roof Shingles and Guttering. They arrived On-Time, were Professional and Courteous. We had our Roof Independently inspected after work was completed. The inspector gave the Roof/Gutering an Overall "A". Also thank you and job well done to the Guttering team.

Outstanding, the crew did an outstanding and thorough job all the way around on the tear-off and the replacement. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing roofing services.

Work was performed on time as promised and was completed professionally. I would use Landwehr again for any re-roofing and gutter work.

From initial contact, through to completion, everything went very well. Out of seven bids, these folks won out based on final cost and superior materials. Communication was great with them calling to confirm material delivery and scheduling a work date. The work was completed in one full day on a 700 sq. ft. single story house with 7/12 pitch and multiple peaks & valleys including very meticulous clean-up. They also removed & hauled away a rather large, old obsolete t.v. antennae from atop the house at no extra charge. The work looks & performs great and I'm quite pleased. I highly recommend.

Our neighborhood was hit with LOTS of huge hail in mid September. Our insurance adjuster told us what he saw (we were one of the lucky ones that didn't have any holes in the roof), sent us our check and told us to get some estimates. We made a list of LOCAL roofers, gutterers, and HVAC guys (since we had damage to those as well). Then we went on-line to check out their ratings from the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List. That narrowed it down quite a bit. Then it was just a matter of getting appointments scheduled. We got about 8 or 9 roofers/gutter people and 6 or 7 HVAC guys. During each estimate we asked lots of questions and made lots of notes. We then looked up in Consumer Reports as to what they recommend for the brand of shingles to use. Landwehr was the only one that used it - although to be fair, almost all of the other roofers said they would use whatever brand we wanted. Probably the one thing that set Landwehr Roofing ahead of all of the others was the fact that when they gave us the estimate, they gave us a file that had the estimate, references (names and phone numbers), and copies of all of their licenses. We didn't have to ask for any of that. We had to ask all of the other companies. We called probably 9 or 10 people on their reference list and all of them gave the company glowing remarks. At no point did we feel any pressure to sign with them. They were extremely professional on the phone and in person. I would gladly use them again if need be and I would highly recommend them to anybody I know!

I called and got an estimate within a day. Repairs were done within a week. Everyone was professional and friendly. I would use this company again for sure. I owned a new home before this one and it took 3 companies before the roof stop leaking.

The workers were as polite and considerate as Mike, the owner. Neighbors were also looking for roof repair at the same time and he took care of many. Everyone loved him. He is kind, informative, supportive, knowledgable and left me with a wonderful and professional experience. He did it all, even a great job at clean up. I highly recommend him.
