Kitchen Tune-Up

I had seen Kitchen Tune-Up's before and after pictures in their advertising over the years and knew I would call them when the time came. We immediately felt comfortable with owners Adam and Rachel and Arlene. They all had great ideas and suggestions that we would not have thought of ourselves. Their design room was inspiring and helped give us a starting point as to what we could do in our space. Rachel is a talented designer and was especially instrumental in helping with colors and material choices. Adam laid out the scheduling, and it all worked like clockwork. Their crew, Austin and Charlotte did an excellent job with the installation, etc. They also set us up with Andy of Strategic Remodeling to re-do our walls, ceiling, electrical, plumbing, tile, etc. and Keystone Solid Surfaces for the quartz countertops. All were great to work with. They were very responsive and accommodating when issues arose and wanted us to be totally satisfied with the final outcome, and we are. Our new kitchen has exceeded our expectations. The entire job came in on our budget and within the timeframe expected. We plan on updating a few more areas in the future and will call on them again. Would we recommend Kitchen Tune-Up for your remodeling projects? Absolutely!

Great! Arrived on time every day. Cleaned up every day. Got along with the 2 big labs. Finished on. Kitchen looks brand new! Their design consultants are very nice to work with.

Everything went great.

The cabinets are good quality and our granite counters look fabulous. Some delays geeting getting the range hood which vents through the roof installed. Came back a few months later to help solve an issue with the trash compactor alignment and cabinet interference issue. They jumped right in and fixed the issue. I was IMPRESSED with their responsiveness, professionalism, and on-going project ownership! Good on them. Not many other companies will support their products and customers like that.

They were very prompt and they brought two different thing. They're very and good people.

Their estimate was a little high, so I didn't go with them. Other than that, they were perfectly professional. They quoted around $6000 for the job.

Efficient, friendly, accommodated our time line,Rachael was excellent in coordination of colors. It was an overall pleasant experience.

In terms of the remodel, it all went smoothly and looks beautiful. Amazingly beautiful. Those people involved from Kitchen Tune-Up were rock stars! Adam and Rachel for the initial buying and design work, Austin and Jim for the installation were super. We thought we knew what we wanted, and would not need the design help, but we were wrong. Rachel helped immensely in guiding us to the right people and guided us in making the right choices. We could not be happier with the look of the kitchen. Adam and Rachel both were very responsive in getting back to us with issues and questions. Austin became part of the family for the week it took to do the installation. Jim was very knowledgeable about any issues we brought to him and both Austin and Jim went above and beyond the call of duty when issues came up that I thought I had no answer for. It really only took a week and a half! They were on schedule and on time.

Rachel was very professional and understanding. She was very interested in making sure we got the best value for our dollars spent and that we were happy with the decisions we made.

The only frustration we had was that the scheduling of the electrician was left in our hands, even though we had made it known that we wanted to use and quot;their peopleand quot; so we wouldn't have to be involved in any of the scheduling aspects. There was some miscommunication on scheduling two different contractors one day, but when I made Kitchen Tune Up aware of the frustrations we had about this, they were very willing to do everything they could to correct the problem and to take this situation into consideration for future customer service satisfaction, with ourselves and their future customers. But overall an extremely smooth and wonderful experience.

Our 35-year-old cupboards were looking grungy and shabby. Franchise owners Arlene and Jim came to look over the job of restoring them to almost-new condition. They were prompt, friendly, and professional, and pointed out some things they could include in the job that I hadn't thought of. They entered my information and worked up an estimate on their laptop. It would have been nice if they could have given me a printout of their estimate, but they didn't have that capability. They scheduled the work at a the time I chose, and Charlotte showed up exactly on time to do the work. She was very friendly and professional and worked steadily to get the job done in one day. I did not have to empty the cupboards or drawers, and she did not have to remove the doors or drawers except for a couple that needed mechanical repair. One of the chemicals she used was kind of noxious, and she kindly notified me I might want to go into another room. With the help of my kitchen and bath exhaust fans, the odors dissipated pretty quickly. The cupboards now look a shade lighter, and almost like new. To me, they look like they've been refinished, although (and they're careful to tell you this) it's a renewal process, not an actual refinishing. But judging from the results, I wouldn't bother refinishing cupboards where this service is available. I'm very pleased with the results, especially an area in the former kids' bathroom where the cupboard finish was pretty water-damaged. Charlotte was able to repair a couple of door corners that were coming apart, fix some bent hinges that prevented the doors from closing completely, and fix one drawer whose bottom was sagging. All in all, an excellent job! My one and only complaint is the price, which seemed very high. If price isn't an obstacle for you, I'd highly recommend this service!
