Initial quote was very quick and professional. The Fahnestock employee indicated they would have a subcontractor perform the work. An email was sent the same day with a quote and they were very responsive and agreeable to questions about the quote and scheduling details. On the scheduled date (one month later -- our choice, not their limitation), the electrical contractor did not show up. I called the Fahnestock employee that gave me the quote and was easily directed to this person. Fahnestock followed up immediately and within an hour I received a call apologizing for the inconvenience and offering to reschedule for 2 days later at a 10% discount. We agreed. Two days later, a Fahnestock employee arrived (not a subcontractor, as far as I could tell) punctually (and not half an hour early as some contractors annoyingly do) and was able to get right to work with minimal direction or clarification. I was satisfied that he understood what we wanted immediately and no complaint was made about a small change to the originally quoted plan. He worked efficiently, professionally, and courteously and completed in 3 hours, including a trip back to the office to pick up a part that he didn't have due to our modified request. The quality of the work was superb and I would hire Fahnestock again in a heart beat. I have hired a number of contractors over the last couple months for a variety of tasks and Fahnestock has been the most courteous and professional of them all.

I went with them for two reasons. I looked on Angie's List to see what people had to say and my neighbor recommended them.

The tech was polite and friendly and he let me know what he was going to do before he did anything.

Very professional beginning with providing a detailed estimate and ending with installing the A/C and coil They were punctual and quick. The price was best out of the three estimates I got.

Curtis worked in two areas. Basement: verified that the indoor unit was working, air filter, drain, and electrical connections (to include capacitor). Exterior unit. First, he pulled the top of the unit and the hail screen and cleaned out the grass that had accumulated in the fins. He then used a fin comb to straighten bent fins. As the original hosing did not clean out all of the debris he had to use a foaming agent to push hard to reach debris out of the delicate fins. The unit looked amazing once he had reassembled it. He then identified that the capacitor's efficiency had dropped and replaced it. He wrapped up the spring servicing by checking the pressures and unit operation.

They were great. On time, install was quick and easy, and the price was reasonable.

They did a good job. They sent a well trained technician that provided a very efficient and knowledgeable service and repair. They were also quick to respond to my call.

The others guys replaced a part that apparently didn't need replacing and never fixed the job correctly. The Fahnestock guy was awesome. It turned out to be that it needed cleaning. Simple as that. I wish I would have called Fahnestock in the first place. Our heater and airflow works better now than it ever did since the day we moved in which was 5 years ago.

We had three quotes and their package deal was the best. They were very easy to work with. They came and did the work quickly. They explained their work too. They covered the floors and didn’t make a mess. They also cleaned up if at all there was any mess. Their supervisor came out in the middle of the job and did a check-up and came back again with an inspector. Their service was very personal.

They broke a glass while doing the work, but fixed it. They did not charge me anything for the service. They were professional and friendly. I had used their services a year before and they were great. Hence, I decided to use them again.

Prompt service, once we made the decision it was installed in 2-3 days. They also assisted in making sure we had what we needed to get the tax benefit for installing a heat pump.

Based on Angie's List reviews, placed call to company . Spoke to company phone rep shared need and urgency of repair. Was told repairman would be their within two-three hours. Upon arrival, repairman went to work and completed in a timely manner. I was very pleased with phone rep, repairman (Tony), work performed and charge for service. Would definitely use again and recommend.

They came out the same day. I thought that the price was very expensive for what they did. They were here for somewhere between half an hour and one hour, and they just replaced a small piece of pipe. The problem was fixed but the bill was $250. He left a bucket of water down there too. I would not use them in the future.

Great! Very professional service from the manager that bid the job to the plumber that installed everything. Great job and very time efficient.

It turned out to be a simple problem. They were timely and were professional. If I remember correctly, I think we felt they were a little on the expensive side.

They are a good company to work with. I haven't used them because I purchased a new unit through another company because Fahnestock didn't supply the brand that I wanted. They are a very reliable company.

They were very neat and made sure to keep everything clean when doing the work. We have two see-through fireplaces that they cleaned when they left. They did a good job. They were very reasonably priced and I would use them again.

Don arrived and fixed the leak in no time. Since we were paying for an hour service fee, he even took a look at a leaking shower head. He didn't have the part required, but told me what I'd need to fix it. (He was right on target, I got the part and fixed the shower myself.) Great experience!

Great experience. We thought we had major problems with one bathroom leaking into the downstairs bathroom and we were not sure where the leak was coming from, shower or toilet. Another toilet had intermittent running water and our kitchen faucet spurted water from the base if you didn't position the lever just right. We were afraid we couldn't afford to fix all these and decided the bathroom leak was the most urgent. We got a recommendation from a friend and called Fahnestock. They came out the same day, fixed all our problems with the simplest workable solution and were out of here within 1 1/2 hours, charging less for the total package than we feared we would pay for one problem from the company we formally used. Very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely call them again.
