Description of Work: Air Conditioner failed on Sunday, June 28th. They reset the wireless thermostat,checked the complete system for proper temperatures ratios and pressures, and replaced the filter which was full of dog hair. I also purchased a maintenance agreement since this Trane A/C system has given me trouble before.

Description of Work: Installed a new furnace and AC unit. The salesman gave me a wide range of options to choose from. They were cheaper than the competitors bids for comparable systems. I went with an high efficiency system but not the highest. Installers were great. They did a nice clean installation and they completed way ahead of schedule. No complaints and would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: Installed a new HVAC. Installation was very fast. The crew arrived 30 Minutes early and that was great. They finished the job faster than anticipated. There were significant air leaks present in the main truck of the unit. When the call was made to have the unit better sealed, there was confusion. The original appointment was lost of the schedule. The second appointment was night scheduled correctly and the technician did not have the correct information to complete the seals. A third appointment was scheduled and completed in 5 minutes. Very frustrating!

Description of Work: Air went out on Jun 2nd..Called the 24 hr. service. Ron came out and informed me it was shot. I called and talked to Tom the next day and he advised they would install a temporary unit until they could do the install the following Thursday. THAT was a great selling point for us. He sent me quotes on new AC and Furnace since ours was 19 years old. I asked for a different quote based upon what I wanted which he also sent. |We looked it over and compared the bid to 2 others. His was right in the middle. We had them install a Carrier system. | |The day of the Install the 2 gentlemen showed up right on time. One was named Daryl and I can't remember the other name. Very..very professional on all accounts. We just had new carpet installed downstairs and they put down throw all the way from the stairs thru a bedroom and into furnace room. They finished the installation around 3:30 that day and then proceeded to show us how the new system worked and all the information we needed to know. They also said call if we had any questions at all. Bottom line was Fahenstock was a real pleasure to work with from start to finish and I would totally recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: I had my AC and Heating serviced, all standard cleaning work, no repairs or parts needed. The service tech told me that the it should not come to anymore than 250. Tom the sales guy sent me a bill later for $855 with no breakdown. I called to ask for a breakdown of the price and he could not provide it. I asked how they arrived at that price and I was told the service department made that price. So I called the service department and they told me that they had never seen this bill and that it was sales (Tom) that had prepared it. After many attempts to contact Tom with no success I asked to speak with the GM (Scot)he looked at the work carried out at my house and said the bill should be $275. It took a long time to get sorted for such a small job. | |Overall the service tech was good and honest. But the sales guy Tom tried to over charge me. | |
