They replaced the computer on my 12 year old oven. Parts were hard to come by but they searched until they found a solution. Kept me informed, price didn't change.

I called on a Thursday morning to ask for help with my refrigerator that had stopped cooling. They were available the same day for an appointment. The technician showed up within the allotted window, quickly diagnosed the problem, and provided me a quote for the repair. The faulty relay is a common issue and apparently super easy fix (he was done in less than 30 minutes, including diagnosis time). I checked online, and had I known anything about refrigerators, I could have probably fixed it myself for 30-40 bucks, but to be honest I would have spent hours combing through wiring diagrams and changing parts that weren't broken before I got to that. Plus it's a fridge and it's a real inconvenience when they go down for any length of time so a quick fix is always a plus. Well worth the money in my opinion. Very professional, very good work, very quick. All in all, I will call them again if I run into an issue with a major appliance.

It went great! Vince and Scott were in and out in about an hour. They explained what had gone wrong, why it might have broken, gave me the estimate and made the repairs. They also gave me advise on how to insure it doesn't happen again.

Phenomenal service both from the administrative side on the front end and this was capped by an exceptionally professional service technician on site. Amazingly flexible on scheduling as well as punctual. Service tech offered advice and was professional in appearance and demeanor. Will absolutely use again!

My refrigerator quit working, looked on Angies List and called this company. Set up an appointment for Monday, they called later that day (Sunday) and could fit me in. Fridge now works, they were fast and reasonable.

During an attempt by my wife to launder a couple of patio chair cushions, one of 'em burst open, projectile vomiting its gnarly lookin', sinewy contents into the washer drum, eventually clogging the pump and the surrounding plumbing. I called Affordable Appliance Repair. The scheduler offered to send a tech out the same day, but I opted for the next. Larry arrived on-scene, professionally dressed, after having given us a thirty minute heads up. After quickly diagnosing and confirming the problem, he sat to work in strategically positioning the wet vac, then disassembled the pump connections to reveal the nasty strands of multi-colored Alien gack, and spent considerable effort in meticulously tweezing out this soggy, yarn-like crap with a pair of needle nosed pliers. He extracted as much as was possible, then recommended I replace the pump with a fresh one, since it had been immobilized by the aforementioned cushion guts, and had likely overheated. Given that I always try to wring the most value out of stuff, I cradled the old pump in my hand, and finger-flipped its impeller around a few times, then declared to Larry that we?d gamble on merely reusing it. He politely obliged, reattached the fittings, and ran through another wash cycle to make sure all the cushion stuffing was removed. It wasn?t, and Larry was again forced to take apart everything, and continue extracting the fabric strands that remained. I caved and took Larry?s sage advice about going with a new pump, which he installed, eventually putting the washer through its paces, one final time. But there was so much of this malignant polyester biohazard, that he had to, yet again, clear the final remnants of that persistent spaghetti one last time. I?m telling you, that Larry went above and beyond the call of duty, and we are very appreciative of his persistence, patience, and the quality of his work, not to mention the fact that he?s a genuinely decent individual, who?s easy to speak with. While he?d stocked the replacement pump, that Friday, the valve needed to be ordered, so I went ahead and paid for the entire job, and Larry showed up as promised the following Monday and installed the inlet valve. In doing so, he had one heck of a time in decoupling the supply hose at the faucet, due to corrosion, and recommended we soon replace both hoses with heavier-duty, steel-braided versions, which my wife bought and I installed later the same day. With competent people like Larry aboard, Affordable Appliance Repair has definitely earned our future appliance repair business.

The experience was very good. They were punctual. The serviceman was pleasant. He described the problems and gave us alternatives on how to fix it. The price for the service call was good.

Larry was the tech, arrived in the time frame quoted when I called previous day to set appointment. Was in company uniform, neat and clean in appearance. Larry was very knowledgable and even shared "tips" on dryer use. Did you know that you should never turn the timer selection knob "COUNTER Clockwise?" I did not know this and it could be the cause of the timer needing replaced. All members of my household will be educated :) This tip could save me from needing future repairs for the same issue. Thank you Larry!! Larry went to pick up part and returned quickly and had repair completed very efficiently. I will only call upon Affordable Appliance Repair for any future needs. The service provider was very polite and punctual and fixed our dryer within a very short amount of time. We had gotten a much larger quote from another company - and they weren't even correct about what needed to be fixed. We saved ourselves over $300 by doing business with Affordable Appliance Repair.

Replaced the part in about 15 minutes. Did have to call them back because it needed an adjustment because of putting out too much gas. Next time I need an appliance repaired I will compare pricing more extensively. We know the part only cost $17 so the charge of $185 for putting it in when it was such an uncomplicated repair seemed way too high. The tech was excellent! Very professional.

Justin came soon after I called the company, with in a couple of hours. Found the problem very quickly. We talked about the price of the repair. He ordered the part and told me it would be in by noon the next day. He came the next afternoon and repaired the frig. That evening I noticed another problem with it and called the office. Talked to a very polite man who said he would have Justin come back out the next morning. He came, at no charge, and made several adjustments and fixed the problem. Works just like a new one now. Would recommend them to all my friends. Nice people to work with.

The only problem I had with the service was the price. The tech showed up after 1:36 pm and left at exactly 2:06 pm. I was charged $135.00 for less than 1/2 hour of work. No parts were required so that is pure labor. That equates to over $270.00 bucks per hour. Everything else was good. Called on Friday and they came the next day. The tech was pleasant and professional. Turns out there was a sock stuck in the blower motor. I have to say, I don't know what others charge per hour but I would be very surprised if it wasn't less. The name of the company seems to be misleading.

My stove went out on a Sat. Called Affordable on Mon. 7/22/13 around 9:30 am. The lady who answered the phone was so courteous & helpful. Scott came out that same day in the afternoon and again he was so polite! He replaced the baking unit in my GE stove. What a wonderful experience. Thank You Again Affordable Appliance Repair.

All was well until they told us that it was done & ready to use. We put a load of laundry in & after a while it let loose a torrent of water & got all over the laminate floor & stained the ceiling below. The repairmen came back ;& cleaned it up as much as possible. I waited until it was completely dry to be sure exactly what was damaged. We were also on vacation for over 2 weeks, so it was over a month before I got back with them. Unfortunately the flooring remained damaged & didn't settle back down., The ceiling below was still stained & some of the popcorn ceiling coating came loose from the sheet rock. Amazingly, the carpet on the floor dried & shows no sign of every being wet. Once the manager verified my story with his techs that did the job, he called his insurance company & soon I was talking to an adjuster. I'm happy with the settlement. It was reduced some for the time since the house was built, 15 years. I don't know yet how much of the repairs it will cover, but it seems reasonable to me. Because they stepped up to the plate to fix the problem they caused, I'm giving the mostly good marks & would feel comfortable using them again.

i hadnt got use it for 2 years. he said he didnt have to replace the valve, which would have cost more. i called on wednesday and he came out the next day to give the estimate. i didnt expect to get it repaired then, but it was great when he fixed it that day!

The tech was super nice and on time. He explained the repair and even showed me how to clean the coils in the future. Thanks a bunch!

Larry was very professional and explained all the possible problems. He also went over ways to keep the dishwasher working properly.

I found Affordable Appliance Repair on Angie's List. Called them this morning and they could actually come out today. Vince arrived around 1 1/2 hours later. He explained that although I had this repaired twice before, they had not actually solved the problem, had only thawed out the clogged area. He installed a new part to make sure that it will defrost on a regular basis, and hopefully, I won't have any more problems with water in my refrigerator.

Everything was fine! I called this company, and my repair was scheduled for the next day. I'm sorry I can't remember the technician's name. He arrived on time, was congenial, knowledgeable, professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem of why my oven would not light. He had the proper igniter on his truck, and replaced it efficiently. I highly recommend this company, and will certainly call them next time one of my appliances malfunctions.

He was running behind, but called to let me know that he was running late and to find out if that was OK or if they needed to reschedule. When he arrived, he was very professional and polite. He looked at the ice maker and immediately knew what was wrong with it. He told me how much it was cost and that he had one on the truck if I wanted to go ahead and get it replaced right now. I told him I was so he got right to it and had it replaced in about 15 minutes. He took the time to show me the old ice maker and showed me why it was leaking and things to look out for on the new one that would let me know that it is starting to wear out. He explained that they only lasted 8 to 10 years even though the refrigerators would last much longer. The very things he explained to me I had actually experienced, I just didn't know that it meant my ice maker was getting ready to break down. Everything went really well and things were back up and running in no time.

Justin knew within a few seconds what the problems was, had to go pick up a part, came back and fixed it and put back together in minutes, with metal parts that will not break! He was friendly, knowledgeable and experience.

I called on April 15, because my washer's spin cycle was not effectively removing all of the water from my clothes. They offered to send someone out the following morning, but that was not convenient for me. Albert came out April 17 promptly at 10:00. He was patient while I explained the problem and immediately began looking into it. After his initial look he explained that the repair could range from $150-$300 depending on which block needed to be replaced. He asked if I wanted to proceed before starting the repair. He replaced the drive block and then gave me a few tips on how to tell if I am overloading my washer to keep my washer from breaking down again. He was very professional and completed the repair in a timely manner. I was very grateful for the advice he gave me and since I had a coupon for $10.00 off the repair, was happy with the repair cost. I haven't had any problems with the washer since the repair.
