Very prompt and did a fantastic job!

Called at 8 am and he arrived at 1-they were very busy but I was happy to get same day service. Quickly replaced relay overload capacitor switch on fridge. Charged $165 for an approximately $30 part which the homeowner can do by watching a youtube video but who has time to wait on the part to arrive? High profit for a 30 minute house call. Repairman was very friendly and efficient. Will use again as I feel cost was "normal" if not a bit lower than other companies. Great profession to be in!

Larry arrived promptly, inspected the washer, explained the problem and the prognosis. No actual repair was required. The inspection info was sufficient to permit the use of the washing machine without further incident. The explanation was concise, complete, easily understood and useful. The explanation of the inspection steps and process was equally excellent.

VINCE came out and fixed us up good! This repairman truly loves his work. He stated this a couple times in our conversation. He had 30+ years of knowledge of repairing all kinds of appliances. He knew exactly what the issue was. We needed a replacement hose that would fit the right connection and not bend and kink like the other. He had to retrieve the part from a warehouse. We rescheduled the very next business day. He called us first. We had a bit of work conflicts at our jobs but one of us was able to request that Vince meet us a little later that day. He accommodated us and was waiting there when I pulled up. He got right to work and installed the hose. Took about 20 min. With in an hour or two I heard ice cubes dropping in the bin. We had been buying bags of ice for weeks. It was a lovely sound! We both highly recommend Affordable Appliance Repair. If you can request Vince, that's even better.

I don't have enough great adjectives to describe my experience! I called late Monday and was scheduled for Wednesday. The lady who made the appointment understood about having to ask for time off and arranged for me to have an end of day appointment and a 20 minute heads-up call to meet the tech. I received my call and Vince was at the house when I arrived. I told him about the troubleshooting I had done and he quickly got to the source if the problem and fixed it. He gave me some maintenance tips to avoid the problem in the future (it was a few years' accumulation of soap and gunk under the float, which on our GE Profile is not readily accessible) and he ran a cleaner through the machine. The charge was extremely fair and he let me use the Angie's List $10 coupon. I could not be happier or more impressed with this company!!

Our clothes washer stopped working. I had seen their advertisement on a vehicle. Called and received immediate response, appointment. Service professional was on time and completed work timely. It was an older washer so took a little more time than expected but serviceman remained professional, personable, and completed work. Over 6 months later, it still runs like a dream!

It took the repair person less than a minute to figure out what was wrong with my dryer once I told him what the issues were. He took less than 10 minutes to fix the problem. Overall he spent maybe 15 minutes at my house and charged me $135. I would not say that is affordable, especially for such an easy fix. They offered a coupon on Angie's list but there was no way to print off the coupon or send it to my phone. I contacted them via Angie's List and they responded and told me to just call them.

So far so good, but it was just installed today.

was out the same day we called them, reset computer and did diagnostics to find a bad pump. replaced part and went through some tips on use we were not aware of. service tech was courteous and knowledgeable. we would use them again.

I requested service through Angie's List (email to provider) on a Saturday morning, Paul responded RIGHT away. My refrigerator is relatively old but they had the parts on the truck and were able to come out the same afternoon. He was very professional all round. It was not just an easy take out and replace but he handled it like the pro he is. I will not hesitate is call again.

Excellent response - same day service. Very reasonable cost. Great customer service.

It is running now - back to normal and the charge was $210 less that we had expected with a bearing problem. This the second time we have used these guys for appliance repair and will stick with them in the future. Bottom line is we trust them to do only what needs to be done and do it right/

He could have told me something was broken with my dryer and charged me more. All that had happened was the breaker had been thrown, something that had never happened before. He was honest and charged me $10.00 for a service call.

Called for service on Friday . Dec12 and made appointment for Monday 9 am. Explained the washer wouldn't drain the water out Serviceman arrived about 9 am. Inspected washer and determined the washer pump failed. He went to his truck and had a replacement there. He returned and gave an estimate to repair, We approved the repair. The washer pump was replaced and he checked for proper operation. The repair took about 1 hour. He was polite and knowledgeable. We would use Affordable Appliance Repair

Tech called to verify appointment. Arrived on time. He quickly diagnosed problem. Fixed the ice maker and gave us pointers on what to watch out for in the future. Our brand of ice maker has a reputation for the supply line working itself loose.

It went very well. Will definitely use them again when we have appliance issues.

I'm very impressed by their quick response time and customer service. My washer went out at night. I submitted a service request through Angie's List to two local providers. By 8:00am Affordable called to schedule and by 10:30 it was fixed. I have yet to receive a call from the other company.

The initial appointment was on Tuesday. Despite knowing before the appointment that the issue was that the oven wasn't heating properly, they didn't have the necessary equipment to test it, so they had to leave and return. They diagnosed the problem and returned Thursday to install the part. Again, they didn't bring the necessary testing equipment and used my cooking thermometer to test it. They were supposed to be here at 4:00 on Thursday. I first heard from them at 4:30 on Thursday, saying they were on their way. Scratched some paint on the oven while making the repair and told me that fixing that would be about $25. All that said, the cost of the repair was reasonable, they explained what they were doing, and they resolved the problem. Not a bad experience, really, but I suspect there are better choices.

I called Affordable Appliance Repair because of the reviews here on Angie's List. I telephoned and made an appointment for a Repair Person to come the next day from 11 am to 2 pm. I received a telephone call, a little after 9 am, from Repairman Larry asking if he could come earlier. He arrived at my residence in the time he said he'd arrive. I explained my oven was not holding the temperature, or not coming up to temp. He took the racks out of the oven and removed some panel in the oven. He checked several things inside the oven. He then set a temperature meter in the oven and watched the oven temp for 15 minutes plus. He diagnosed the problem, gave his professional opinion and advise as to what to do. I was very pleased with his professionalism, his advice, his knowledge. I will call Affordable Appliance Repair again, if ever needed. I would recommend this company to everyone.

A burning electrical smell occurred in our kitchen and we later found the refrigerator was no longer cooling. It was a 12 year old Kenmore and I thought the compressor was dead and would need to buy a new refrigerator. After browsing new units, I gave Affordable a call to see if it was worth fixing. They said that my model should last 20 years and that to look at it would only be $10. The service tech Justin showed up about 4 hours later, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in short order. He was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. He also informed me that the compressor in my unit was manufactured by the same company that supplies high end Sub Zero refrigerators and should last many more years. They will be my first call for any other large appliance break downs in the future.

I called and was able to schedule for the very next morning. Larry diagnosed the problem with the dishwasher in a very short time, had the part in his truck and fixed the problem immediately. He quoted me the price before he did the repair so I knew what to expect. He vacuumed the dishwasher as he repaired it, leaving it cleaner than it was when he arrived. He also suggested a choice of a couple of products to use regularly to keep the dishwasher clean. I will use Affordable again the next time I need an appliance repaired.

He knew in a very short time what was the problem and he fixed the problem immediately. I will use them the next time I need something fixed or replaced.

I recently relocated to the area and realized my washer was not working correctly. I found These guys on Angie's list and have them a call on a Friday late afternoon. They tried to fit me in the same day which was appreciated. They fit me in on Monday afternoon and were timely and professional. They diagnosed the problem quickly and prior to that have a best and worst case scenario. They were great! They fixed it quickly and made sure it was running correctly before leaving. I'll definitely use them for any future repairs.

They only charged me $10 which seemed to me very generous because some places would have charged a much larger "service charge". I have used this company in the past for appliance repairs and been very pleased with the service. I will definitely call them in the future for needed appliance repairs.
