I called for a estimate and Rochelle showed up in an hour or so to do the estimate. She gave me a reasonable estimate to take down the tree and remove the stump for $675 and trim the tree in the back for $300. I went with them and they showed up on time to trim and remove the tree. The lawn was clean after the work and everyone involved was kind and polite.

They were prompt and very professional. So glad we called them because this was the best tree trimming we have ever gotten. Our trees are now beautiful and our yard was left clean as a whistle. Worth every bit of the 650.00 charged for the job. We will only be using Abe's Lawn and Tree service from now on.

I contacted Abe's to inquire about tree removal and trimming and was impressed with the handling of my call from the get go. Tanya was very courteous and professional. Shawn, who I later learned is the owner of the company, came out as scheduled to complete an estimate. His approach was casual and professional which I appreciated. I didn't feel pressured to hire Abe's for the job, but I ended up doing so as Shawn was professional and he understood exactly what I wanted done with my yard. On top of that, I found the estimate to be more than reasonable. The crew arrived and they were quick, professional, and courteous. The weather was a bit uncooperative so they had to return the next day which they did and they completed the job. I was thoroughly impressed with the efficiency of the crew and the job they performed at my home. I am more than happy with the look of my yard/trees and I would definitely hire Abe's for any future tree work. I highly recommend this company!!

The estimator Shawn showed up on time and gave me a reasonable quote of $650 to remove 2 elm trees on 4/12/16. An employee named Tonya called me back a couple of days after the quote was given to tell me about a $50 off coupon they had and that they could do the work on 4/19/16 so I scheduled the removal. They had a 4 man crew and they showed up on time. While they were here I got another tree cut down and one trimmed up bringing my total cost to $925. The guys were extremely professional, they even put back a portable basketball goal that had to be moved out of the way for their truck to get in the yard. The cleaned up all the debris and after the trees were removed another truck came to clear it away. I am very impressed with this company and their employees. I have more trees that need to come down in the near future and would not hesitate to use Abe's again.

It was fine. My tree is not well but it is not their fault. They did everything that they needed to do. They really wanted to cut a lot of the tree down and that is not what I wanted and so I had to do a bit of arguing with them. They ultimately did it the way I wanted. The price was fair enough. It was a big crew and they all took on their tasks. I had guys all over hanging from my tree limbs. They had all the right equipment and tools some of which, they had to put away because I didn't want a lot of chainsaw action. They definitely came equipped and staffed to do what needed doing.

Called Abe?s Tree Service on Friday morning and left a message requesting quote on trimming two large tree limbs overhanging a power line. Immediate callback and appointment scheduled for Saturday. Scheduled time for work to be done. Monday evening and work just completed. Exceptionally pleased with service and professionalism of entire crew. Shawn carefully explained what he would be doing before starting. Cleanup was fast and thorough. Would highly recommend service to anyone. Will definitely be using Abe?s Tree Service again. I called to schedule an appointment with Abe's and they came out the next day! They did an excellent job of lifting and cleaning up all the dead wood from the four trees in our yard. The yard was perfectly cleaned up after all the work was completed.

Front oak trees were ok but they left a lot of dead still in the trees and I have since had to have another company come to finish those 2 trees for an additional $500. The two trees were removed as requested and the stumps ground, however, the guy cutting down the tree closest to my wrought iron fence allowed a large branch to fall onto the gate. My gate is now scuffed and having some issues with the latch catching. A lot of debris left after the stumps were ground...small stuff, but still too big to run over with the lawn mower. The same employee who dropped the branch on my front gate also cut one of the branches back way to far on the back walnut tree and also managed to break a large planter. He did confess to breaking the planter and that is where the majority of my dissatisfaction comes in. I told him I would decide if I wanted him to replace it or pay for it and would contact him with my decision. My only contact was the main office number. I advised I would take $100 for the planter. I heard nothing. I called again and spoke to Shawn who advised he would have Gabe call me back. Another few weeks went by and I called again. A couple days later Gabe called and I had offered an alternative as I had found an acceptable replacement that was a little less. He stated he would purchase it the next day and bring it by. I heard nothing. Contacted Shawn who advised Gabe no longer works there and offered to send a check the next day. I should have taken it, however, I offered to have him use a couple man hours and do some additional trimming for me. Shawn stated he would be by within 10 to 14 days. 3 weeks or so I call again. They've had some big jobs and it would be another couple weeks before they could come by. Another 3-4 weeks, I spoke to someone else who advised he was responsible for scheduling and he would get me on the books asap. It's now been another 4 weeks or so and I've seen no one, heard from no one and received no check. I can only presume that they are not going to be responsible or make amends for the damage that they caused. I've delayed submitting this review as I had hoped I could report something a bit more positive, but at this point I am rather disappointed especially after I had contacted them from a special offer I saw here on Angie's list. When Shawn came to do the estimate he advised that I should not purchase the promo from Angie's list as Angie's list would keep most of that, however, he would offer me the same rate. Then he contacted me the next day and offered an additional discount if I had them start the following day. I agreed and they came. Their clean up was ok but could have been better. Just be careful and make sure you inspect everything before you provide payment.

Abe's came out right away and gave us a quote which was very competitive. Not only did they give us a quote but they gave us in detail what they recommended. They came out and did exactly what they said they were going to do. Did a great job in cleaning everything up before they left. I would definitely use them again.

Friendly and professional. They came out for a free consult first, described what needed to be done and why, and gave us a quote. We then scheduled the appointment for about a week later. They arrived as promised, talked over their plans again, and then checked in a couple of times while doing the work to make sure it was looking as we expected. The trees look great and they left shade in the places we requested. Afterwards, they cleaned up the yard so nicely you could not tell that there had been limbs and branches on the lawn just an hour earlier. Great service! We plan to use them now on a regular basis as our trees needed maintenance.

They did a great job, showed up, quality of work was good, and I would recommend them. They cleaned up great.

It went very well and they did a good job cleaning up. I expected to wait a couple weeks for them to get to me, but they had a cancellation while they were in the area, so our work was completed the day after our quote. I can't complain about that! A neighbor that watched them work was impressed and said "they were professional, quick, and efficient." Sounds like they may get a call to do some work next door. Good job and thanks Abe's!

Abe's provided VERY fast and efficient service. I called for an estimate on Wednesday, they provided me with a bid Thursday morning and finished the entire job Thursday afternoon! My trees look great. I will be using them again in the future.

Abe's did a fantastic job with our tree removal. Gave us a quote on Saturday and the guys were here on Monday ready to go. Shawn gave us an excellent deal for such a large tree- we had several quotes and he was the lowest by far (this also included having the stump ground). The tree came down fairly quick and afterwards they did a nice job cleaning up the yard (They did have to come back on Wednesday to pick up all the wood because their trailer was full, but not a big deal.) Very friendly, very prompt and a great price. We will definitely use them again.

Excellent. The estimate was done on time, Shawn explained everything he was going to do at a price I was comfortable with. When the job was done, the very next day, he arrived on time with a professional crew & everything needed to do the job. He trimmed the Cypress at no additional charge. He just wanted to clean it up a bit. It's a young tree & he explained how it would help it from getting to thick. I was very impressed with the job & how clean they left the yard. They needed to move some fence & put it back as it was before they came out. I would use this service again & would recommend Abe's to anyone needed tree or lawn care. I had 3 estimates done, called to let the others know I had chosen Abe's but was very upset that another AL company was very unprofessional as he bad mouthed Abe's company. I found that to be very, very unprofessional especially since they did such a fine job!

Abe's is so prompt. I sent an e-mail on a Sunday with dates to come and give an estimate. Heard from them on Monday with a date. They are were so prompt & professional. They did the work and cleaned up every little tree branch. I will most certainly use them again.

The experience was positive overall. They were extremely efficient and got the job done for me very quickly at not only a great price but on my schedule. Shawn came out and not only gave me a quote on the spot, but also helped me understand both what they were going to do as well as his thoughts on what I should do to maintain the trees I have. I marked them as a B for punctuality as they were about an hour or so late to get here and I had to call to find out where they were. In the future I would hope they would call if they are going to be late. I would, with out hesitation, recommend them for tree removable service and use them again.

They did a good job on trimming and removing trees. They did a very poor job on customer service. We live out of town and are selling the house. So, I couldn't be there to observe the work. I asked them to send me before and after pictures so I could send to my homeowners insurance as proof that trees were trimmed off roof. They said no problem, they do that all the time. After they did work, no pictures were sent. I reminded them and they sent me some of the pictures for 2 trees. Then they asked if I had sent payment yet. I asked again for the rest of the pictures, they refused until they got payment. I had mailed a check but they had not received it yet. I asked them to please let me know when they got the check and then please send me the rest of the pictures. They never contacted me that they had received the check and never sent me the rest of the pictures. When I called again, they said they had received the check 3 days ago. As of 2 weeks after they received my check, they have never sent me the rest of the pictures.

From the quote, to the work, to the post work walk through all of the Abe's employees I met were knowledgeable and very friendly. They all met you with a good hand shake and were very respectful throughout the process. The trees all look better than ever and every scrap of wood, bark, and leaf was cleaned up before they left.

It went well. The guy I dealt with was very kind and polite. He was punctual and willing to work with me on the pricing. He was very good.

We had a really bad luck with him. He was really so bad. He left some branches of tree on the back yard after taking the trees down. I am not recommending him. After failing the job, leaving some untrimmed trees, he hired another company to finish the job for him. He did not even sign up a contract saying what he is going to do. That was a really bad experience for us. Overall, he has a F, and I am not using him again in the future.

It went very well. They were on time, professional, and listened to all my requests when they came out for the estimate. They were willing to work with us beyond the limits of the deal we purchase which was $199 for $399 worth of service. When Shawn came out, he went over each area that I wanted taken care of and told me what they could do for the amount of the deal and above that. We set up a time, date, and when my husband and I returned home the day the job was supposed to be finished, it looked wonderful! The sweet gums in the front had all the dead limbs/branches removed, the bush in front of the porch was shaped and trimmed, the rose'o sharon (sp?) was trimmed down, the other 3 of 4 trees were trimmed, while they cut down the dead tree, and removed away a large branch that had fallen during one of our winter storms. All the mess and the hassle was taken care of by them. The only thing left was a beautiful yard, front and back! Thank you Abe's Tree Service!
